Our little boy has been at Leo's for over 3 years and the experience has been beyond our expectations.
The team are wonderful, kind and helpful and our son loves them all.
The environment is perfect and the balance of play and learning is exactly what we wanted for him.
I could not recommend Leo's
any more.

I can’t say enough good things about Leo’s. The key workers are attentive and get to know each child. Time is taken to get to know the likes and dislikes of each child, and drive learning according to their key milestones. There is a family feel about the nursery which is great for the children, and
gives piece of mind for the parents.
I feel safe in the knowledge that my child is being looked after and is learning above and beyond his abilities while he is there.

Staff have been very supportive, keen to provide a caring environment for our daughter where she and socialise, learn and enjoy herself. They have gone the extra mile to support the settlement of our daughter and have been open to sharing any positive and negative information which has increased the
trust we have in the nursery. They have even cooked different food for her when she dislikes the menu. I am very happy and grateful.

Leo's Day Nursery - West Bridgford have been an amazing support to me whilst helping my little girl settling into nursery. The staff always give great feedback at the end of the day and really know my child.'s interests and temperaments, it's so lovely to hear about her development and she's having
a lovely time here at Leos.
Any question I may have the staff, management and area manager have been ready to help and listen.
When looking at my child's Adventure Book it was so lovely to see the great activities she gets to do at nursery you can truly see her really enjoying her time at Leos.

We have found the care provided by Leo's to be excellent from 10-months-old to almost 3-years-old. The staff all take time to forge strong relationships, and our son has always been particularly fond of his keyworkers as he has moved through the nursery. The staff are happy to give as detailed a report
as you read and are encouraging and supportive. They have helped particularly recently in toilet training, and as he is full-time, this leaves us little time to focus on this at home. Our son's past and present key workers are the reason we send him here.

Leo’s has a warm, family feel to it. Both the staff and the building create a wonderful nurturing environment. My daughter really struggles with separation anxiety and they have gone out of their way to reassure her and me. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Fantastic Nursery all round. My son is very happy here. He started at age 1 in the baby room which he loved. He is now upstairs and loves the activities they do daily and all the different rooms to keep him entertained. Very clean throughout. I would highly recommend this nursery.

If your are looking for a ‘home from home’ setting for your little one then this is the place. It’s small, friendly and like a family. My two boys are here, now 4 (started around 15 months) and 2 (started around 9 months) and they love it. It is the warm, dedicated staff that sets Leo’s nursery apart
from its rivals. They are like an extension of our family, the boys love them and they seem to genuinely enjoy their job and building relationships with the children. There is a low level of staff turnover generally speaking with the most loved members almost being part of the furniture! It’s small and cosy. It’s not techy and it’s not got the biggest outside space but my kids are very happy and I never worry about them.

My two children currently attend Leo's. My eldest, now 3, has attended since he was 6-months-old, and my youngest, now 1, has been going since she was 7-months-old. What struck me about Leo's when I was first looking for a nursery for my son was how homely it feels. Everyone knows each child so well,
even if they do not work directly with them. Every member of staff always seem to be passionate about what they do, and to really care about the children and enjoy their company. Both my children adore their key workers, with my eldest even being disappointed on days that are not nursery days! Thank you Leo's for taking such great care of our children.

Our second daughter has attended since 9-months-old and will be moving on to go to school in September. There has never been a day that she has not wanted to go to nursery. The staff have been wonderful and the environment warm and welcoming. They set up lovely activities that engage the children well,
the outside area is good and the food is brilliant too. It’s been a wonderful place for her to grow, make friends and have fun.

We've had a great experience at Leo's. Our son has attended for nearly 2 years and the staff in the Baby and Toddler rooms have all been brilliant. The staff and management have been supportive when we've had issues and are very caring. My son loves it too!

Leos Nursery is a lovely nursery for my kid, the manager and staff are all very nice, friendly and supportive, they are very patient and experienced towards my kid. The only downside I would like to point out is, I wish I knew more about what my kid is doing, how is he/she is, what was his/her food
and drink diary, behaviour and learning progress (through playing), and etc in the nursery. I understand the preschool class is extremely busy, so I am not talking about a report to parents on a daily basis, but maybe a monthly report? or a report after each term would be really helpful and appreciated by us.

Both of our children attended Leos and we would recommend it to anyone. The Leos owners, manager and team have created a great environment for the children's learning and development. It is friendly, well managed, safe, educational and with nutritious and tasty food. The staff are lovely and have become
our friends too.

Both my sons have attended Leos nursery and we've been really pleased with it.

We were initially attracted by the homely atmosphere, and I feel that this has been a lovely, caring environment for them.

The outdoor space is good with shady trees so they can be outside even in sunny weather.

Communication

with parents was an area that needed improving, and the weekly updates are now really good to see.

Overall we're really happy with our choice of Leos.

Leos is a welcoming and friendly nursery of the highest standard. Our son is so happy here and we are continually impressed by the home from home atmosphere and the dedicated staff.
Activities are varied and often revolve around the outdoors and creativity which is great for learning and development.
Daily diary updates keep us informed of developments etc. The food is freshly prepared, plentiful and healthy...our son always eats well at Leos!
The care, warmth and understanding provided by staff to our son and to us as parents are truly outstanding and we have always felt reassured that he is attending a nursery which is so clearly providing a caring and supportive environment.
We love the weekly newsletter which keeps us in touch with all the nursery activities and offers an insight into all the fun that's being had!
We would highly recommend Leos to others, without a doubt.

Leos is a friendly, homely nursery based in a converted house. Both of our girls have enjoyed/continue to enjoy their time there and the nursery prepared our oldest daughter well for school - in terms of being able to care for herself; being confident with others, and starting to learn letters and numbers.
Our daughter (and us!) was well supported in toilet training. Leos has a lovely garden and the children spend a lot of time outside, including trips to the nearby park. Our daughter also enjoyed the externally provided tennis sessions.
The nursery is flexible in accommodating particular needs and requests, for example in switching days, making payments etc.
The nursery is well located in central West Bridgford. With no car park, parking can sometimes be a challenge but we have never found it too much of a problem.
Overall we have been happy customers for the last 5 years and would recommend the nursery to others.

Invoices could be improved as it is hard to understand.
Getting charged when your child does not attend due to holidays is not fair.
Otherwise, very happy with Leos. A great team. Activities are great and children just love it.

Current Review Score: 9.1 (9.147)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.1 (9.147) out of 10 for Partou Leo's Day Nursery & Pre-school is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.833 for Partou Leo's Day Nursery & Pre-school is calculated as follows: ( (61 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.314 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Partou Leo's Day Nursery & Pre-school is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 42 number of registered child places is 8.4. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.4 = 0.714
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2010

I qualified with Early Years Teacher Status in 2011, but have worked in Early Years since 1998. I have had a long relationship with this nursery, initially as a parent choosing it for my youngest daughter. I think it was the homely, warm and welcome feeling I picked up on when viewing the nursery that was the deciding factor. The nursery as it is today is a product of many years of developing and nurturing that ethos. Our parents tell us that the relationship they have with us feels like a part of their extended family.

Before becoming Manager of the nursery in 2010, I developed my experience of working closely with children as a Practitioner. This has given me the experience and knowledge over the years to develop a deep understanding of children’s needs in terms of their development, care and well being.
