Funding & Fees

We are an all year round nursery, open 51 weeks per year and offer the following sessions only:

Session Time Hours
Full Day 07:30-18:00* 10 hours 30 mins
Morning 07:30:12:30 5 hours

Afternoon 13:00-18:00 5 hours

Funded hours are granted for 38 term weeks a year only. Annually this equates to 570/1140 hours for an entitlement of 15/30 hours respectively.

*Due to Local Authority terms of a maximum funded claim of 10 hours, this is restricted to a 17:30 finish

for those taking a ‘Funded Hours Only’ option below.

Overall Experience
When my child started at Minibugs he was very quiet and hardly spoke.
He has come on leaps and bounds and this is all thanks to the amazing team.
They seem to treat him as one of their own.
He is happy and loves being there..and even gets excited to go.

Highly recommend.

Overall Experience
My little boy came to your nursery from a different setting. All the staff were and still are happy to help with any difficulties you may be having. They were ever so supportive when it came to toilet training and even made him his own Alien stickers to encourage him. He is such a busy boy and we feel that they always keep him busy.
Now he is older, he can communicate what he has done throughout the day and how each morning he can’t wait to go. The staff are always warm and welcoming, it’s great that we get updates daily. I can easily see what he has eaten and done. As I don’t get to pick him up, for us, it’s lovely in the evening, we can look and talk about what he has done.

Would definitely recommend Minibugs!

Overall Experience
My child didn't want to go to nursery to begin with (like many!) but within the first weeks, she had bonded with the staff who have looked after her and made her feel comfortable and happy whilst at Minibugs. There are lots of great activities, the facilities are excellent and staff very friendly.

Minibugs Nursery in St Austell is absolutely amazing. I would recommend them to any one of my mummy friends. They are very happy and helpful and full of knowledge about my child as soon as I step foot in the door. My child loves every single one of the ladies that work there. The relationship between myself and them and my child and them goes beyond anything I expected.

Overall Experience
My little girl has additional needs and is non-verbal. She started Minibugs after a horrific experience with a childminder. Minibugs staff have gone above and beyond, helping us every step of the way with diagnosis and hosting meetings upstairs with professionals from occupational therapy, speech and language. The key worker helps with special meals and they have adapted the setting to help her.

My little boy also attends. He loves it. They have both been here for 12 months and will stay until school. I don't want them to leave.

Overall Experience

My youngest son started Minibugs in September. He was not used to being away from us and really struggled when we left him. The staff at Minibugs were great, they really worked hard to help him settle and soon enough he did. He now loves his nursery and looks forward to going. They carry out a wide range of activities and he has come on in leaps and bounds. He also enjoys the healthy meals and snacks that snacks they provide.

My little boy took a while to settle in but with a lot of patience and persistent he has finally settled and absolutely loves it! He appears very happy here now. The nursery itself is lovely and the staff are wonderful! It's great to receive a daily email of what he has been up to along with some lovely pictures which show me how happy he is. Thanks all!
