Sarah is the Nursery Manager at our Clapham Junction (Babies) setting and has been a valued member of the Abacus Ark team since 2021. She brings a strong passion for early years education alongside calm, confident leadership.

With extensive experience in early childhood development, Sarah is committed to creating a nurturing and inspiring environment where children feel safe, supported, and engaged in their learning each day. She leads her team with empathy and high standards, ensuring every child receives individualised care tailored to their needs.

Sarah is known for her warm and approachable nature, building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families. She works closely with parents to provide reassurance and consistency, supporting each child’s development both at nursery and at home.

She takes great pride in maintaining a positive, stimulating environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically, and plays a key role in upholding the high standards of care and education at Abacus Ark.

Nayriane is a Deputy Manager at our Clapham Junction (Babies) setting and a highly experienced member of the Abacus Ark team. With over 13 years of experience in early years education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to her role.

Her journey with Abacus Ark has seen her role evolve from Senior Key Teacher at our Maida Vale nursery to her current leadership position in Clapham Junction. She began her career in childcare through volunteering with an NGO, where she discovered her natural passion for supporting young children’s development.

Nayriane is known for her warm and nurturing approach, creating an environment where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to explore. She is passionate about supporting each child’s individual development, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

She also builds strong, trusting relationships with families, providing reassurance and support throughout their child’s early years journey. As Deputy Manager, Nayriane plays an important role in maintaining high standards of care and supporting her team to deliver a positive, enriching environment for every child.

Thania is the Nursery Manager at our Clapham Junction Preschool and a valued member of the Abacus Ark team. Since joining in May 2022, she has brought a unique combination of warmth, creativity, and strong leadership to the nursery.

Originally from Thessaloniki, Greece, Thania began her work with children in hotel kids’ clubs before going on to volunteer extensively with children with special educational needs and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. After moving to London in 2020, she transitioned into early years education, where she has continued to develop her passion for supporting young children.

Thania holds a Fine Art degree with a specialism in Theatre Studies, which is reflected in the creativity and imagination she brings into the learning environment. She is known for her calm, confident approach and her ability to create a nurturing and engaging atmosphere where children feel secure and inspired to learn.

As Nursery Manager, Thania leads her team with care and dedication, ensuring high standards of education and wellbeing across the setting. She builds strong relationships with both children and families, creating a supportive community where every child can thrive.
