If I could’ve picked up Abacus Ark and taken it with me when we left London, I would! The love, care and devotion that went into our daughter's development was exceptional and I have no doubt the foundations she has built during her time at Abacus will stand her in good stead for the rest of her life. From learning journeys to details on daily routines and everything in between, we were so well informed about our little one's day, we never had to worry. The thought that is put into all of the activities the children take part in is clear to see, from yoga to rugby, cooking and drama, there never seemed to be a dull moment, and my daughter was always so happy and fulfilled at the end of the day. My overwhelming feeling is gratitude for the amazing start to education they have provided, along with lots of cuddles and kisses!

I am incredibly happy to be sending my son here, he is very happy and always keen to go in every morning. The activities are excellent, even for the very little ones they have included music, drama, yoga, cooking, and rugby tots with lots of outside playtime. The teachers are incredibly enthusiastic and caring and I feel my son is in very safe hands. The daily feedback is great and includes photos and videos plus there are regular development milestone updates.

Abacus Ark Nursery School is an amazing nursery where your children will develop and grow in a happy and safe environment. Both my kids have been there and have come out super confident and ready for school. Every day is fun and they used to come back raving about what they’d been up to. I would recommend to anyone to send your children here as the staff are outstanding, super friendly, and have nothing but the interest of your son/daughter in mind.

We are so grateful and happy with Abacus Ark across both our daughters. We joined Abacus Ark St John's Hill when our original local nursery closed down during lockdown and Abacus Ark was one of the few that stayed open for key workers. And we feel so fortunate to have found them! We now have a younger daughter (18months) who started in the baby room at 1-year, and our older daughter (now 5) started there at 3 and recently graduated from the pre-school room. Both our kids have such different personalities and both absolutely thrive in the school - a testament to the incredible teachers, classes, activities, and learning and social environment they have. The management have also done an outstanding job of building a true sense of community across the parents/kids/teachers. It has the perfect blend of feeling incredibly professional with a family/community feel. My husband and I often comment in our house how lucky we were to have come across the school and to have our kids there.

We simply love this nursery. My son goes happily in every day, runs to hug teachers, and is always in a good mood when we pick him up. Teachers and staff are professional and very supportive, they respect children’s timing and interest. Overall a respectful and loving environment.

My 18-month-old twins have been at Abacus Ark for six months now and couldn't be happier. They absolutely love the teachers and the activities and are learning like crazy, almost every day they come home with new words, new skills, new favourite games, and activities (they both seem to love yoga and regularly sing to us on the way home). They're also amazing eaters now after going through a brief picky phase at 12 months, I think because the food they get is so good and so varied. We're so grateful for the wonderful care they receive and so happy we found this wonderful place.

Our 3-year-old son goes to Abacus Ark and we are extremely happy with their service. Abacus Ark has put a lot of effort into his curriculum. Keeping track of their growth and education. Providing fun activities like cooking lessons and outdoor sports. Our son adores it all. Highly recommend Abacus Ark if you’re looking for a place for your child.

My 2-year-old has just started nursery for the 1st time and is obviously finding the separation from me difficult, but the staff are so warm and welcoming and reassuring (to both my daughter and myself!). My daughter tells me who has read her a story, and who she had cuddles with when she gets sad. And when she’s telling me, I can see that she’s really alright there and beginning to feel settled. The online learning journal allows us to see her updates - it’s really reassuring to see her happy and stimulated in the classroom. Not just sitting there missing me!

My son has been at Abacus Ark for the last 18 months and has just moved into the pre-school room there. We have nothing but praise for the setting and the staff, and we feel so lucky that we chose it out of many local options. Our son has grown immeasurably in confidence and independence since going, and it is joyful to hear him excitedly recount the goings-on of his day with his friends. I'm sure there are a lot of similarities between (most!) nurseries, in the type of activities the children do, etc, but what sets Abacus Ark apart for us is the level of passion to provide beyond the basic 'childcare' responsibilities: there is a genuine commitment to each child's overall wellbeing. We love that it is a family-owned and run business (the owner and manager's own children attend!) which I am sure is what helps them successfully build the culture of real community with both parents and local businesses. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to register your little one!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abacus Ark. My son has been attending the nursery for over 2 years and we are having a wonderful experience at every stage. He's always welcomed and farewelled by professional and caring teachers, all members of the staff know his name, even if they are not in his room. It's a family-run business, a safe, calm, and friendly atmosphere, many activities like music, rugby, yoga, drama, cooking, and most importantly lots of fun. The small garden is a plus, and they often go to the park. The children learn something new every day, physically, emotionally, they are motivated, understood, and helped to develop friendships and confidence. Parents are kept updated daily through an app, in addition to lovely and colourful newsletters. During the pandemic, Abacus Ark dealt immaculately and supported families through online classes and many other activities and prompt communication. My son is very happy there and so we parents are.

My daughter attended Abacus Ark from age 9 months until she started school in September 2021. She attended full days five days a week. She was always happy at this nursery. The care and education she received was excellent. Activities were very varied including languages, song, sports, and art. The staff were excellent and always informed us of her learning milestones and gave us tips on things to work on at home. Potty training was a breeze with the help of the teachers. Management were excellent with communication, especially during the pandemic lockdowns. Without the nursery staff and management's hard work and diligence, I don’t know how we would have survived it. My daughter's “graduation” from nursery was a very special day for us and was actually quite sad as it was the end of her time at Abacus Ark which was a place that provided a community to our family for over four years. I could not recommend this nursery more highly.

Both of my daughters attended Abacus Ark, my eldest having recently graduated after being there since she was 8 months old. I can honestly say that her 4 years at nursery helped to shape her into the little girl she is today. Confident, capable, and full of enthusiasm for starting school. I will forever be grateful to the team at Abacus Ark for making that transition so smooth. The staff all go above and beyond to help the children and are one of the nursery's biggest assets. Over the years my girls have formed wonderful relationships with all of their key teachers which they maintain today. The nursery setting is also lovely. It’s cosy but perfectly set up and the rooms are cleverly placed to help children transition from one to the next. It’s also a fab addition to have outside space in such a central location. Abacus Ark are truly fantastic and I'm so glad my girls had the opportunity to go there!

I can not possibly say enough positive things about Abacus Ark Nursery. As a mother you only want the best for your child and hands down Abacus Ark is the best. Teachers are caring, creative and always warm to the children. They have structure to their week so there is consistency for the kids and the parents. With music, drama, yoga, cooking and even rugby my kids are always learning something new and staying active. The nursery management genuinely care about what parents think and feedback is always welcomed and appreciated. Abacus Ark is 10 out of 10!

Our son feels safe and happy at Abacus Ark Nursery. Which for me is perhaps the most important aspect of nursery - security and well-being. The teachers are affectionate, focused, smart, and thoughtful. He has fun, is learning, and eats well. The children are entertained and their appetite for curiosity satisfied. The nursery smoothly introduced our boy into potty training and I like the celebration of national and international festivities. The activities are sporty and creative. The owners are hands-on, and have a progressive attitude and maintain a healthy relationship with parents. There are external workshops designed for the parents providing a wide variety of courses ranging from nutrition, sleeping advice, education, schooling, etc. They are continuously looking to build upon what is an impressive child and parent experience. We are very happy with our child’s progress.

Both our children have been, or are currently at Abacus Ark, and absolutely love it. The staff across all age groups are exceptionally professional whilst also personable, which is a rare combination in nurseries in the area.

Both our kids go to Abacus Ark Nursery. Our older child started 3 years ago and we've always been hugely impressed by the staff; caring, friendly and supportive. Our kids are thriving and learning lots in a fun and very relaxed environment. We are extremely pleased also with the food options which are very healthy.

We have two daughters (2 and 4) at Abacus Ark and we couldn't be happier with how the nursery has been throughout their time there. From being slowly and lovingly settled in as 1-year-olds, to our oldest graduating into pre-school, Abacus Ark has provided excellent care and early years education to both girls. Through a hugely tough pandemic, the nursery were compassionate and communicative towards parents. The breadth of activities in the setting is fabulous, and beyond what we would expect from an early year setting. But most importantly, our children are super happy there and can't wait to see their teachers every day.

Abacus Ark is truly an outstanding nursery. My son has been attending the nursery for more than 2.5 years since he turned 1 year old. All the staff who have looked after him are so caring and professional. The care and love the children get from the staff is just incredible. The children learn so much and there are activities like singing, dancing, yoga, rugby, etc going on. Such a lovely atmosphere at the nursery. My son has so many good friends at the nursery and they have formed such an amazing bond. He knows all the teachers and children in all the other rooms as well. The staff really go the extra mile. We are really extremely lucky to have Abacus Ark within walking distance from our house and Clapham Junction station. The parents get updates and pictures via an app and the teachers give the parents a good summary of the day. All the interactions I had with the team (from the first visit, settling in, finance, management, etc) have simply been brilliant and smooth.

We looked at several nurseries in the area before deciding on Abacus Ark for our daughter, and I could not be happier with our decision. We now have two children at Abacus and both are thriving there. All of the staff know all of the children so well and genuinely care about them. Equally, the children adore the adults. It has a real family feel to the nursery and through Abacus we have built up a great network of friends in the area. In addition to this, I am confident that my 4-year-old who will be starting school next September will be very well prepared. The teachers at Abacus have supported her to gain confidence; helped her to build strong relationships with her peers and have already started teaching her to read and write in a way that she finds enjoyable. The drama, yoga, rugby, cooking, and multitude of other activities they get to participate in each week are just a bonus!

Our daughter started at Abacus Ark when she was 9 months old and has just graduated at 4 to go to school. We’ve had a fantastic experience with the nursery at every stage. The nursery has some truly wonderful teachers who have learning and development as a priority but are always delivered with fun. Our daughter has built a strong bond with a number of teachers and still asks to see them. She’s also made lifelong friends. The children do lots of different activities like cooking, drama, and yoga. Our daughter has been encouraged to develop her love of music and dance, imaginative play and she’s also made good progress with key milestones such as her reading and phonics and writing her name. There are also regular trips out. The nursery staff were also great during the pandemic doing their best to continue with weekly online activities and maintain a supportive community feel. This is a lovely nursery with a personal touch and we are sad that our daughter’s time here has ended.
