Our 2 children have attended since October 2021. Our youngest 19 months on start date has absolutely flourished and is so well taught and cared for, he has really opened up socially thanks to the school. His teachers are so kind, they do everything they can to encourage and support his development in
all areas. Our eldest is now 4, he absolutely loves it and so enjoys the varied classes and activities offered (cooking, yoga, music, rugby, drama). I feel they are providing him a good springboard for reception in September. The only downside is that the school does not have a dedicated outdoor play area but they definitely make up for it with walks to the park (which our oldest tells us about constantly!). They are also in the process of creating an indoor soft play space which we are really looking forward to. We look forward to another couple of years here with our youngest.

We're extremely happy with the level of care that our daughter has received. We feel very comfortable leaving her there; she seems excited to arrive in the morning and is learning and developing quickly. The carers are excellent, communicative, and give plenty of feedback and reassurance. She's currently
potty-training and they have been very supportive of that. Overall we are very happy with our choice to send her to Abacus Ark and would recommend the nursery without hesitation.

We have been a part of the Abacus Ark family for over five years now, with three of our children attending the nursery. We have always been so impressed by how friendly and professional the staff are. They approach each day enthusiastically and have always taken the time to focus on the individual needs

Been bringing the two kids for the last 3 years. Amazing staff, professional, and well organised. Daily review for the kids are received through the app and there is a new “community/parents” area which I love, to work and enjoy coffees!

My son started attending Abacus Ark Wandsworth in July 2020 when he was 8 months old. The settle-in process could not have been smoother or more natural. The communication with the management is very open and friendly. My son loves his teachers and peers and you can tell that the nursery environment
is very calm and happy. The food menu is very complete and they eat healthy snacks throughout the day. We are very pleased with the experience at Abacus Ark and would highly recommend other parents to trust on Abacus Ark staff as they are amazing!

We love Abacus Ark and couldn’t be happier with the nursery. Our daughters have flourished under their care and truly enjoy going to nursery every day! The staff are fantastic. So kind, caring, and enthusiastic. They clearly adore the children and the children adore them. Both my children have been
attending since they were 11 months old and love it. The nursery dealt with Covid-19 and everything it threw at them amazingly. I was initially concerned about there being no outside space but it isn’t an issue at all. The children visit the park daily and I believe they have more time playing outdoors in big open spaces than other nurseries with small outside spaces! We love it at Abacus Ark and highly recommend it! It is a gem of a nursery.

I have two girls in Abacus Ark, my 4yo has just left and my 18mo is still there. My 4yo had the most incredible experience throughout her three years at the nursery. All the staff have made her feel incredibly safe and happy whilst ensuring she is pushed to reach her potential. I could not be happier
with the service we have received with both our girls from allowing us to use cloth nappies to understanding when we need a little extra support as parents! And my youngest happily walks into the nursery smiling and waving at the staff and her friends. We have regular review meetings to check their progress and help us through any issues. All the staff are professional, kind, supportive, and super friendly. The food is excellent, the setting is wonderful and the environment is super happy. It has been the best three years at Abacus Ark and my girls are super happy, well-grounded people and that is definitely not all down to our parenting!

I am so thankful to have found Abacus Ark. The staff at Abacus Ark are an extension to our family. They so clearly care for the welfare of my children and in turn, my children love to be there, rushing into their arms each morning or reaching for their key workers. It is such a relief to have found
somewhere that I am happy to leave my children every day, knowing that they are safe, cared for and are in an environment that fosters development at the child's pace.
As a parent, I have found the staff interaction great. The staff at all levels and in all functions welcome input and respond to feedback. It feels like we are part of the organisation not just another number.
Finally, the activities are so exciting, with yoga, football, music and drama classes all provided by outside expert practitioners.

Ilaria is known for her supportive approach, calm presence, and commitment to creating a nurturing environment for both children and staff. Her progression within the company reflects her strong work ethic and deep understanding of the nursery’s values.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2022

Originally from Italy, Simona studied Educational Sciences at university before gaining hands-on experience in a bilingual outdoor nursery in Prague. She moved to London shortly after and began working in a baby room, where her passion for early years really flourished.


Since joining Abacus Ark three years ago, Simona has worked across nearly all our settings, starting as a Senior Key Teacher, then becoming Third in Charge, and now Deputy Manager. This wide experience has given her a deep understanding of early childhood development and a strong connection to the Abacus community.


What Simona loves most is being a secure base for the children, someone they can rely on as they grow in confidence and curiosity. Her calm, kind nature and grounded approach make her an integral part of our Wandsworth team.

Sky has been with Abacus Ark since 2015, nearly from the very beginning! She started as an apprentice and, through dedication, study, and hands-on experience, has grown into her role as Third in Charge.


Over the years, Sky has grown not only in knowledge, but in confidence; becoming a steady, trusted presence for both children and colleagues. She’s completed her qualifications while building her career with us, and has truly grown alongside the nursery.

Dan is the Finance Administrator at Abacus Ark and has been with the company for over 10 years. He plays a vital role in overseeing the nursery group’s financial operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Daniel is also available to support families with any finance-related questions, including funding options, invoicing, and payment queries.
