Banana Moon Day Nursery in Rothwell, staff always try to see everything from a parent's perspective.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery to protect children, staff and parents. A finger print biometric entry system is also used. This system allows nursery personnel to quickly register every parent and carer's fingerprint.

Children can have fun exploring the world of colour, shapes and texture through the use of toys, adult interaction and sensory experiences.

The children go outside every day to get exercise and learn more about the world. All age groups benefit from daily outdoor activities.

Sleep rooms have cots and sleep mattresses and every child has their own bed linen which is cleaned in house. At all times, staff strive to keep to parents' desired sleep patterns and routines.

Nutritionally balanced meals are made using fresh ingredients, suiting different food preferences and dietary needs.

My boys have just started Banana Moon. The staff have been amazing and helped them settle so well. The boys love coming. Communication is always excellent also. I always feel I know what they've been up to. The boys love the food and always eat every drop.

All the staff are so lovely, chatty and approachable every time I go into the nursery. They always take the time to say how the day has gone. I love the range of activities they do with the babies, and it's great seeing these on the app! Realy happy so far with our choice of nursery.

Nursery is perfect. All of the staff are so patient and caring with my son. They always have time to talk about my son; his development, speech and well-being. If there are any concerns, they always tell me straight away. The nursery always has activities and entertainment for the children. It's a brilliant
nursery and would/do recommend it to friends/family.
Two members of staff, in particular, are standouts - such lovely, caring staff who my son loves and talks about all the time.

The staff are amazing and great with my son. He is always upset at drop-off but settles quickly and staff always keep me updated and let me know. He always has a great day and his development has grown. They are great at continuity from home such as removing dummy.

From the moment the manager showed me round, I knew it was the nursery for us. The manager was extremely knowledgeable, organised in her approach and very personable. All of the staff I have dealt with, so far, have been very caring and supportive in helping my child settle. The nursery itself has a
lovely feel to it with lots of toys and resources.
The food offering is well-balanced and I love the organised approach to accommodating children with dietary requirements.

I would recommend Banana Moon to anyone, it is an amazing nursery, and the care provided to my children by staff is excellent. The staff are noticeably happier and more comfortable since the new manager took over. I have full faith in her running the nursery, she is more than capable and has reassured
me in situations she has dealt with promptly in relation to medical matters with my child and ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to. The staff morale appears to have improved. The children are offered a varied diet by the chef and celebrate different cultures/festivals. The children are engaged in a wide range of activities, and I love receiving regular updates throughout the day on the app.

All the staff have been extremely helpful in settling my son into nursery for his first time. They have been interested in what my son likes and doesn't, what helps him to settle and what his next steps are. They are always just a phone call away to answer any questions, which has put my mind at ease!
