Banana Moon Day Nursery in Rothwell, staff always try to see everything from a parent's perspective.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery to protect children, staff and parents. A finger print biometric entry system is also used. This system allows nursery personnel to quickly register every parent and carer's fingerprint.

Children can have fun exploring the world of colour, shapes and texture through the use of toys, adult interaction and sensory experiences.

Very good nursery, regular developmental checks. They seem to know our daughter well, we receive lots of nice pictures.

My little girl really enjoys her time at Banana Moon Day Nursery. They carry our a wide variety of activities to keep the children stimulated. I like how the nursery is set out and the great outside space. A real selling point is the opening hours, the sensory room and that they get two hot meals a day. I would definitely recommend it.

Banana Moon Day Nursery Rothwell is a fantastic nursery. My child has attended this nursery for our one year old and she is always happy to go. She has learnt so much during her time at nursery and her confidence and learning abilities have really grown. The staff who provide care for my child are friendly, approachable, enthusiastic and their communication skills are excellent. They really care about my child's learning objectives and needs.

My son has loved his first month and a half at Banana Moon. He settled in really quickly and enjoys coming to nursery each time he comes. The menu and activities are varied and I have been really impressed with all o the staff in the baby room.

This nursery is amazing, it meets all the needs for my little girl who has Down syndrome. They go out of their way for her and have the right equipment for her. This nursery is outstanding, I've got no reason to say anything bad about it because there is nothing to complain about.

It is absolutely brilliant, my little girl loves it. I'm happy to leave her as the staff are amazing and settle her down when she's a bit upset when I leave. Her confidence has grown and speech has improved, can't shut her up on the way home from nursery.

I feel the nursery setting is brilliant, very safe and secure and very good outdoor facilities. I feel my daughter's speech is coming along a lot more since starting at Banana Moon and she is beginning to become a lot more independent with things she never did at home. Since starting at Banana Moon my daughter has tried foods I never thought she would eat. Knowing she's trying fruits and other snacks is really good. All the girls are very warm and welcoming. At pick up time the majority of the time she's so busy she doesn't realise I'm there. I am now at the point where I don't feel I have to ring every day to see how she is.

Our daughter loves 'school toys' as she calls it. Always excited to be there and wants to go every time we happen to be passing by. The staff are fantastic and always smiling. You can tell everybody enjoys working there which creates a lovely atmosphere. Full of different and clever ideas to keep everyone busy. So glad she has a place here, wouldn't want her anywhere else.

Our little boy loves going to Banana Moon Day Nursery and learns so much in the 2 mornings a week! Every time I pick him up he is always being played with by a member of staff. The baby room is full of toys for him to explore and so much space. It is always clean with no food and bottles left lying around. He always eats his meals and gets plenty of fruit.

Overall Experience
Outstanding facilities and very friendly staff. The minute you enter the nursery, the amount of light and air brings an entirely new experience. The 'sleep room' in the baby room feels so cosy and helps children to sleep in calm and undisturbed environment, as long as they want.

So much new equipment in both the indoor and outdoor areas and the mud kitchen is very good for kids to play. 'Sensory room' and 'technology room' are very good for 2-3 years. There are no nurseries around Rothwell with so many outstanding facilities. Extremely happy and my little one loves to go in there!!
