Rainbow Day Nursery Petts Wood

My daughter has been attending Rainbow Day Nursery Petts Wood since November 2021. I was so worried about returning to work and leaving my baby at nursery but the team at Rainbow have been fantastic, and my daughter very quickly went from crying when I dropped her off to smiling with excitement as soon as she arrived. She is clearly having a whale of a time there every day, and every member of the team that looks after her is a pleasure to deal with. They always have time at the end of the day to have a chat with you about your child and how they're getting on, which is so much appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend Rainbow Day Nursery Petts Wood.

We put our son in the 'Pillow Room' at Rainbow Day nursery in Petts Wood in September 2021. It has been a month now since he has been there and we are pleased to say that he is fully settled in. He loves being there - he comes home a very smiley and happy kid! The team in the Pillow Room took time to get to know him so that he had a smooth transition. Of course, there were tears when we first dropped him off - but now they have reduced drastically. The team are very creative in coming up with activities to engage the children. We love seeing his photos on the app! They are also very prompt at posting his feeding activities, sleeping activities and nappy changes on the app. This is very reassuring for us. Furthermore, if he has any accidents (however big or small) they are very prompt at calling us to keep us informed. The communication with parents is fantastic - we always feel like we are kept in the loop (good news or bad). We would highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter joined Rainbow Day Nursery when she was just 6-months-old and has just left to go to big school. The nursery went above and beyond to give the children the best start in life. When she started she had multiple food intolerances and the nursery couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating her needs, they even consulted with me as to the foods/brands she had at home so they could purchase the same for her time at nursery. She would go in every day with a smile and come home telling me all the exciting things she had done that day. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone and everyone who is looking for a safe, fun and loving environment for their children. My daughter has started school confident and happy following her time at nursery and she can't wait to go back and talk to all her nursery teachers about her new school and achievements.

It has been a wonderful experience to start our journey with Rainbow Day Nursery (Petts Wood) in Aug 2020. The manager has been a great help throughout and especially securing us the space for the baby. Just in a few months time, we already saw our child learning so many new things and doing different activities. It’s peaceful to see daily updates on the parents' app. All staff are excellent and their observations and sharing pictures is helping us cherish moments which we missed while our child is at nursery. Thank you for sharing observations and pictures. All the staff members are great to deal with and not to forget the magician cook who keeps the babies energy going. A big thank you to all members of the nursery for all the care and support that you provide to families.

Could not recommend Rainbow Day Nursery enough!

Both my daughters went here at 9 months old. My eldest has just left for school and my 2-year-old is still there. Whenever I go to work I feel so safe knowing that my youngest is in the hands of such lovely people. They have done such an amazing job with my eldest and I truly believe that the Rainbows staff have helped her develop into a confident, kind, caring girl and helped her become the amazing character she is today. I'm so glad I chose this nursery for my children.

I've been with Rainbows since it opened. My eldest left in September after spending three and a half years there and my youngest now attends. Both boys have thrived there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rainbows.

I am extremely pleased with this nursery and delighted to provide a review as an assistance to potential parents who may be looking to use their services. Overall standards are very high. The management does not compromise on the safety of the children nor the staff. As parents, we are kept informed of all current and planned improvements and are encouraged to get involved in decision making. My daughter joined the nursery at 6 months, she is in Pre-School now preparing for Big School (big smile). She loves the staff and has made great friends. I have watched her grow into a confident, active and intelligent girl. You can monitor your child's daily progress via an app and also send in your comments/own updates. Food is cooked fresh daily and the menu options cater to a variety of needs. The children take part in sports, Spanish classes, dress-up/fundraising days, visits to the library and parks. The teachers are all amazing - they are friendly and fully involved in the child's development.

I have just dropped my son off for his last day at Rainbow Day Nursery and am feeling very emotional. He has been there since it opened over 3 years ago, from 11 months old and it was the best decision we made. He has learnt so much and become a sweet, confident boy.

The best thing about the nursery is categorically the staff. There is a low turn over which I think speaks volumes and means the kids have a real connection. My son adores them. The owner and management team are also very supportive and approachable. The kitchen staff are brilliant too. My fussy eater will try things at nursery that he wouldn’t touch at home but he mostly appreciates the home cooked puddings, of course.

The nursery occasionally takes the kids out on local trips so they are not confined to the same 4 walls every day and they have a well-equipped garden. They have a sports coach once a week too.

I would absolutely recommend Rainbow Day Nursery any parent.

My daughter has always been a very shy girl and very attached to me. I remember the first day we went to view Rainbow, she instantly jumped down off me and walked straight into the garden without me! That instantly made me love Rainbow. She absolutely loves it. With the fantastic online system where you can read about the children's day, it gives me the opportunities to talk to her about her day mentioning specific things she has done and she always joins in very happy and excited to tell me. The staff are so lovely when I ask my daughter who she has played with, she always mentions the workers first and friends second which speaks volumes. I love the layout of the nursery and the fab big garden. The room has a nice homely feel and always look very clean. I totally recommend it.

My daughter's development has progressed a lot since being at nursery, especially her speech.

The progress in her development since attending has been considerable especially with regards to her speech. When I collect her we spend the journey home chatting about what she has been doing during her busy day.
