My little one has come so much since starting nursery at Tigers at Swindon Day Nursery, I'm pretty sure she has more friends than me now, lovely lunches which my little one loves, the staff are great and friendly. My daughter has learned to share and play with children of all ages.

My grandson started early April. The staff are excellent, always on hand with any queries. Happy children all around. My grandson loves the bubble room. Excellent toilets so that each child can go and use them independently. Always encouraging children to take part in activities, story times, dress
up etc.

Caroline Borer

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2017

I have over 15 years of experience in childcare and education: babies up to 11 years and children with additional needs. I am Level 3 qualified in Children’s and young people’s workforce and hold a Level 3 NVQ in play work and have taken on a variety of roles including Senco, safeguarding lead, room leader, deputy and Manager. I love my job and getting to know our lovely families. I am passionate about early years care and education and understand how important it is for a child’s development and wellbeing and the impact positive learning experiences and developing relationships and confidence are for the future.


I joined the team here at Swindon in March 2023 and haven’t looked back. I have previously worked at Tigers in Theale and Thatcham between 2017 and 2022 working as a Nursery Nurse working my way up to third in Charge at Theale, becoming the deputy here at Swindon before taking on the role of Manager in August 2024

I love the layout of the Nursery and the welcoming environment we offer. As a team we all work together to support all Children and their families. We are always reflecting on what we do, and the Why and how we do it. We always set the goal post high to be the Best Nursery we can be, providing the best care and start to life for all children.

I am a Mum to three adult children and two grandchildren age 8 and 6. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, trips to the theatre, skating, dance and sporting events.
