Northend Nursery is an Early Year's Alliance childcare service located in Erith, Kent.

It offers 70 places and was assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted on 28th September 2023. A committed, friendly and well-qualified nursery team provides high-quality care and learning opportunities for children from birth to five years.

The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play and actively encourages parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.

Northend is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and five staff training days.

Really helped with my child's growth and development. Lovely teachers who help to pick up her speech and behaviour and help and ideas to take home to help her. The teachers are very friendly and very very helpful. She loves all the food and always eats it and always comes home with a full happy belly.

Lovely nursery friendly staff and my daughter loves going here always helpful my son also attended this nursery when he was younger for several years and he also really enjoyed going to this nursery I would recommend I already have and a neighbour of mines children now attended here

Great team within the rooms, my child has settled very well over the last year.
The app is very helpful.
However, since February 2022, the nursery has reduced hours to 4pm finishes, and this has caused a very big inconvenience.

When I first moved into the area I was terrified as I knew no one and nothing. I walked to the Northend Nursery and the manager was lovely, so welcoming and kind to both me and my two children. The staff in the rooms are great with the children and they love attending there. I would recommend it to
anyone. Thanks to everyone at Northend for making the transition between not going to nursery and going to nursery so easy and also thanks for the Famly app which the workers can email and send me photos as updates throughout my children’s sessions there.

The staff members are very professional and accommodating to every child’s individual needs. They have a family app which provides real time updates on your child’s activities and progress. My daughter has developed a lot since she started attending Northend Nursery and she absolutely loves it there.

I am soo pleased with this nursery, I viewed 6 different nurseries on the same day, and this nursery stood out by far!
The nursery manager, absolutely lovely lady, extremely professional and genuinely cares for children, this is so important for me, definitely ticks all the boxes.
Moving nursery
during COVID has been tricky, but Northend Nursery has taken such great precautions to keep children safe and minimise risk as best they can. They have removed unnecessary fabrics and wash all other used fabric every day. Most nurseries I visited haven’t been as cautious.
My son has just moved nursery last month, and honestly, I can’t believe how much he loves this place. He literally runs up to the manager to give her a cuddle in the morning. Gives me soo much joy to know that he is happy there and being well looked after.
The practitioners in the toddler room are absolutely lovely too! Always keeping me up to date with my son's progress, easy to talk to and always professional.

My eldest was here for just over 2 years and my youngest has now been here for a year. The staff who have cared for my children three days a week have always been friendly, helpful, kind and caring. My kids adore them and that is worth its weight in gold. Both kids have learned so much from being here.
The staff are the reason for me to return.

My daughter attended this nursery 5 years ago and when my son was born I knew he would go here too. The manager has been so wonderful. My son has additional needs and I was very reluctant to let him out of my sight but she was so patient and understanding and let me do it in small stages until I was
comfortable enough for him to stay all day. My son enjoys it here and you can see how far he is progressing with the help from his amazing keyworker and the rest of the staff. I can't fault this nursery one bit.

My daughter attended this nursery over six years ago and I was very pleased with the level of care she received. When it came time for my youngest to start nursery, I did not hesitate in signing him up. The Manager is warm and friendly. She took the time to know me by name adding that personal touch.
I struggled to potty train my son and within just a few days these amazing staff had him going to the toilet like a big boy. They are attentive and the dedication shown to our son was obvious as he would talk about nursery even whilst at home. I highly recommend this nursery. They provide the children with the facility to play and learn whilst being clean and welcoming for the children. I would not hesitate to send any future kids to this establishment. Well done guys and continue to keep up the great work, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

The nursery manager's warm, confident and approachable demeanour, coupled with a professional and thorough introduction during my visit, instilled me with confidence towards Northend Nursery. I was shown the impressive facilities and developmental resources geared towards the EYFS.


Since my child

has started the nursery, I have had the opportunity to engage with the staff who have been thoroughly attentive, friendly and patient. Their work and guidance is a credit to the fact that my child has settled so well and is enjoying the experience.


From the start, the team have been accommodating and flexible. I feel my child's needs are met by the wonderful staff and as a consequence, I feel entirely comfortable and confident with this nursery's care and steps towards my child's development.

The staff are amazing and so hard working as well as very professional. They have helped my daughter progress brilliantly and have done wonders with her separation from myself! Nothing ever seems too much for the staff to do for us parents and are always there to support us too. Would definitely recommend

Brilliant, caring, hardworking, reliable, trustworthy staff. I could go on.
