IntoPlay Day Nursery @ Barnwood

My daughter has been at IntoPlay for 2 years and loves it. It has a fantastic atmosphere and there is so much for the children to do. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I would highly recommend IntoPlay Day Nursery @ Barnwood. Since my daughter began in preschool over a year ago, she has grown so much in confidence and learnt so much through play. She enjoys going to nursery and loves to come home and tell me about all of the new projects that the children have been looking at, the activities she has taken part in and the friends that she has been playing with.

The staff are all so welcoming to both the children and parents, nothing is too much trouble. There is always good communication from the staff whenever I collect my daughter to tell me about the day she has had.

My son is always very happy and relaxed after being at nursery. He does a wide range of activities and enjoys going outside. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

Very impressed with babies and toddlers. Slightly less so with preschool due to freq staff variations and consequential lower confidence of child with staff. Have noticed vastly accelerated learning of child compared to the previous child at a different nursery. Appears to be a wider variety of learning experiences such as yoga and go-go beans. Also lovely outdoor space.

Both my children have been to IntoPlay Day Nursery @ Barnwood and it is by far the best nursery in Gloucester. Everyone who works there are amazing with my children, I would highly recommend.

From our very first tour of the facility, we had a great feeling about the nursery. The staff have lovely relationships with the children and it’s obvious that the children are safe, happy and trust their carers implicitly. The settling in process was thorough and ensured that our son gradually got used to his new surroundings and was able to get to know the adults who would look after him. We are so impressed with how well the staff have got to know our son and how they use their knowledge of his personality and interests to plan activities for him. Handovers are precise and thorough, thanks to succinct records, which are updated throughout the day. The nursery is always striving to improve and we are kept informed of any changes. We have regular and easy access to the learning journey, which is updated frequently and displays a range of photographs, assessments and observations. We are so lucky to have found Into Play and would not hesitate to recommend them to other parents.

Overall, the nursery is fantastic and we are very happy with the service the nursery has provided; they also provide ongoing support to our daughter who has multiple allergies (with of course a few hiccups along the way). Our daughter is very bright and very demanding and the staff deal with that incredibly well and we value the work they do in supporting our daughter.

I changed my son from a playgroup to IntoPlay Day Nursery @ Barnwood as I felt they were not listening to me or my worries as a mother regarding my son having suspected autism. Since being there he has come on well has a good relationship with the staff. His younger brother also started January with no concerns at all. He loves going in and comes out telling me he has done even shows me his yoga moves.

Both my children are currently attending IntoPlay Day Nursery @ Barnwood. In the 3 years we have been there, I have never had any problems with the nursery. I leave my children knowing they are in safe hands and with staff that are professional and genuinely care. All the member are staff are so lovely and the manager is extremely helpful, friendly and will do anything to help.

My children have come so far with the help of the IntoPlay Day Nursery staff. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Cannot fault this nursery. It goes above and beyond what you'd expect. I'll be genuinely gutted when the girls are too big to go!

Great nursery!

I moved my son here after standards at his previous nursery had slipped. I was a bit apprehensive as I didn’t want to unsettle him. However with thanks to the great staff he settled in straight away and loves going to nursery. I know he enjoys himself as he looks forward to going, he has made friends and looks forward to seeing staff members. I only wished I had moved him sooner!

Staff are friendly, work hard and are brilliant with the children!

Lovely dedicated staff, excellent care provided. My son is clearly happy in their company. They have some excellent activities provided. They have been particularly helpful during a stressful house move. I couldn't be happier with my choice of nursery.

I have been extremely impressed with the level of care our daughter receives whilst at Barwood Intoplay. All the staff that we have come into contact with so far are fantastic, they have strong bonds with all the children. We have noticed how much her development has come along since starting there, and as a parent (and teacher), I feel confident that the staff are doing they very best for my child. All staff are approachable and friendly, very good lines of communication during handover. Thank you.

We really could not recommend this nursery enough, happy child and happy parents.

We love this nursery! Nothing is ever too much trouble and the staff love my son so so much. The activities are varied and I like that the pictures can come home with him. Daily reports are excellent for parents too.

A super nursery. My daughter is two and loves the days she spends here. I am now in the process of introducing my second daughter here before I return to work. I would recommend this nursery to anyone and the staff are super, they ensure that your child gets plenty of settling in sessions so that they are happy and ready when the time comes for you to leave them and go to work. Excellent management, the manager is very open, friendly and accommodating with all your needs.

All three of my children have very much enjoyed their time with IntoPlay. Perfect start to school life. I will be sad when my youngest finishes pre-school this year. I can't thank the staff enough. Barnwood is a great addition, excellently managed.
