Kindred Nursery in Bournemouth is a warm and inviting environment where staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in.

By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, the nursery are able to truly enrich a child’s development during the 0-5 years.

Kindred Bournemouth (formerly known as Little Hens) is located in a lovely converted church setting with a large outdoor area. The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.

Open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and offer funded places for three year olds and qualifying two year olds. Speak to the team to find out more.

My 18-month-old son started going to Kindred at the end of September, due to everyone being in lockdown beforehand, he hadn't really got the chance to mix with other people, therefore, he was quite shy, didn't like being left and was very awkward around other people. However, since going to Kindred,
he has really come out of himself and he waves to everyone saying hi and bye. I have no trouble dropping off as he is always eager to go in. The girls are always friendly at drop off and pick up, always updating you with anything at the end of the session. The family app Kindred use is great as well, easy access you see what your little one has been up to, naps, food, nappy changes all get logged on each session so you know exactly how the day had been. Fresh food cooked and healthy snacks. I would highly recommend Kindred to anyone that was looking for a nursery for their little one.

Lovely nursery - the staff are always very friendly and helpful. It took a while for my son to settle in but they helped every step of the way and now he loves it there. The food on site is great and the chef always cooks lovely meals and great variety.

My daughter attends Kindred Bournemouth and seems very happy there. As parents, we love the family app so we can keep track during the day. It was also really useful during lockdown from March with the updates and activities suggested. My daughter loved the videos with singing and dancing, it helped
when she went back to see familiar faces regularly. The food is varied and my daughter seems to like it. We are now noticing she is coming home and telling us new things she has learnt so really pleased with nursery developmental support.

All staff members are happy and confident, making me as a parent completely at ease in leaving my child in their care. Through the first lockdown, their communication was brilliant and they made me feel at ease leaving my little one as I'm a key worker. A manager is always available to speak with and
the staff are very knowledgeable. All the staff know my little one well and he loves being there, often talking about them and the fun activities they do together. The food menu is great and my little one tries new foods all the time and they follow dietary requirements/ allergies and all medical needs. I am so happy with the nursery and would recommend to anyone.

The nursery have always been great in communicating with us. They have a good variety of activities in place and are always introducing new things for the children to do. The staff always take the time to speak with us and take the time to get to know us as well as the children.

Both my children have gone to Kindred and they both love it. Since it became Kindred, and the new manager joined, it is practically faultless. There’s a family feeling and I highly recommend Kindred for your child. Both of mine have always been happy, which makes us happy.

We think this nursery is fantastic and all the staff here are amazing. Our daughter absolutely loves it, she gets so excited each morning when we get her ready to go. The staff are friendly and always coming up with creative ideas to keep the children entertained whilst learning something new. I cannot recommend Kindred enough. The setting is so warm and welcoming and the staff are absolutely fabulous. The girls in the baby room have done a fantastic job at resettling my daughter after her long break due to the national lockdown. My daughter now practically runs into the nursery and it's
lovely to see. They keep me well informed during the day through the nursery app and post daily photos. My daughter regularly talks about her key worker and the other girls in her room while we are at home. It takes big hearts to shape little minds. All-round great nursery.

I am so happy with my daughter going to Kindred Bournemouth, the staff are amazing from her key worker to the management team. Nothing is too much trouble and they have given enormous support with potty training. My little one's speech has also improved beyond belief and her confidence has grown. Highly

Great communication around covid actions, compassionate staff and management and staff that genuinely care about your child. Good use of an app to update you about your child's day. I'd like to see more of this than currently, but it is good as it is.

Great nursery. My son was very reluctant at first but the wonderful staff made it so exciting for him, he now absolutely loves it. The food is incredible and my son always comments how much he loves it. Great communication on the parent app. Very responsive staff. Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter has been in both the baby and chicks room. Every worker my daughter has been with has been very professional, supportive and caring towards her. My daughter loves going to nursery and even asks to go on her days off. The app shows that she does a variety of activities during her sessions,
which I feel have contributed towards her development. The app is great as it provides videos and photos of her day and where she is on her development. She has made some lovely little friends at nursery that she talks about often. It’s such a daunting thing, trying to find the right provider for your child. But I’m so pleased I have chosen Kindred, as I know she is being cared for extremely well whilst I’m at work.

An amazing nursery with great staff and my daughter loves going and playing with her friends. The meals are always very good and healthy. I would highly recommend to anyone and have done. Great learning tools to help children develop and thrive. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Great nursery with the most attentive, friendly and caring staff. Our girls look forward to going in everyday. They have lovely facilities and a great outdoor play area which is a winner with the girls. Our girls are very speech delayed and the manager and SEND coordinator have gone above and beyond
to help in any way possible and we will always be grateful to them for that.

Such a wonderful nursery with a great team. My son has been attending since the age of 6 months and has had the same carers throughout his time there and he has built such a bond with them. The facilities at Kindred are great too and there are always new things being made and new areas created to play.
Throughout COVID, the rules and regulations to keep the kids safe have been great too and took the worries away from sending my son back after lockdown. Really pleased to be sending my son there and would recommend highly.

My daughter has only just started at Kindred and loves it. She gets nutritious meals each day and has lots of fun, always a good sign when she is asleep in the car on the way home. The staff are also very good at communicating with parents, especially via the family app.
