Teddie Tots Day Nursery provides parents and their children with a warm and welcoming nursery setting, providing children with care and support during their early years.

Staff at Teddie Tots Day Nursery carefully plan around each child's individual needs to help them to deliver sensitive learning experiences and to support child-initiated and spontaneous play activities.

During their time at the nursery, meals are freshly prepared on-site daily to ensure children's nutritional needs are met.

Staff are DBS checked and Pediatric first-aid trained, both of which are updated annually. While staff participate in courses regularly to ensure their knowledge and training is up-to-date and that children are provided with the best care and learning facilities.

Teddies Tots really is a wonderful nursery with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My daughter started attending in March and the staff have made every effort to ensure her settling in was as smooth as possible. I would absolutely have no hesitations in recommending this nursery to parents.

Teddies is such a lovely caring nursery.


I have one child currently in upper preschool and the other joining babies in August.


My son has been extremely happy at nursery over the last two and a half years; the staff are so welcoming and nurture the children and get the school ready.


There

is a low staff turnover, which is great for continuity of care and each child is respected as an individual and allowed to blossom and grow. They help the children form meaningful friendships and have been great during COVID in instilling some normality and joy during this time. I’m sure my daughter will love it as much as my son does.

My little one has been attending Teddies Tots since December 2019 and absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing, caring and really make it easier to leave your child in their care. Teddies Tots is the best place for my son who is attending there since he was 7-months-old! I couldn't imagine a better place for him. It's actually his first home I would say! I can highly recommend Teddies Tots as the best place for all babies, children. All Teddies Tots team is professional and kind,
all rooms are adapted to the age levels. During the pandemic, they had been prepared perfectly putting lots of effort into running the nursery in the safest way.
In September, my son has to leave Teddies Tots as he is going to reception, and we will really miss Teddies Tots place and all staff.
Teddies Tots are doing an amazing job overall.

My son has been at Teddies Tots Day Nursery since he was a year old, he turns 3 soon, and I wouldn’t have him attend anywhere else. The team are so supportive and encouraging of the children, and my child has flourished in this nurturing environment through each stage of his development. I’m always
impressed by the variety of activities my son is involved in. His confidence has come to no end. This last year has been challenging for everyone, but the whole team at Teddies Tots Day Nursery have made such great efforts to support the children and parents through this. There are much closer nurseries to where we live, but Teddies Tots Day Nursery is by far the best. wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.

We love the nursery! Our daughter had attended for the last few months. As she is a lockdown baby, we were worried about her lack of interaction with new people (adults and children), but she has settled in so well thanks to all the staff! She adores attending and has come on leaps and bounds with everything,
and we are so happy we chose Teddies Tots.
We are greeted with a smile on drop off and pick up.

We couldn’t ask for a better nursery for our two girls. It’s my eldest’s last few months at Teddies, and I’m so sad she’ll be leaving (she started in August 2017), but I know she’s had the best experience and preparation for primary school. Couldn’t recommend the nursery enough!

Such a fantastic nursery which our children have been going to for over 2-years and they love it. Our children have formed strong bonds with both children and staff, and the staff genuinely care for the children's safety and wellbeing, creating a well-balanced fun environment, and we parents are kept
well informed on progress and what's coming up. The nursery has lots of fun events throughout the year that both children and staff immerse themselves in, and we enjoy seeing pictures, hearing all about the fun from our littles ones and seeing all the things they have made. The staff put a lot of effort into making the children's time at nursery fun, enjoyable and educational. We travel further afield just so that our children can attend such a great nursery. We can't thank them enough and would highly recommend it.

The staff are so lovely and really put my mind at ease when my son started here. They have a great set up and are so caring, and it’s helped with my son's development massively. My son has been attending Teddies since he was 17-months and is now 4-years old, heading into his last few months at the setting.
The first thing to comment on would definitely be the amazing and welcoming attitude of all staff. The staff at Teddies have been so helpful to us, especially when my son
has gone through certain milestones - toilet training, letting go of a dummy. They have been instrumental in my son's development into a young boy. He has had a connection with all staff that have worked with him, and this has really helped him with his social skills too.
The staff are always coming up with new ways for children to learn, and it's apparent that they adapt their learning style to suit each child.
The setting itself has a very homely feel, and staff have worked hard to make it this way for children and parents alike.
My son is already talking about how he'll miss the staff and nursery when he leaves for school. Thank you, Teddies!

My son has been attending for the last 4-months; he started at 13-months-old and settled in fast. He enjoys it very much, especially the soft play area that they have. I viewed 4 nursery’s and found this one to be the best and outshine the others with regards to facilities, cleanliness and carers understanding
of a parents anxiety at leaving their children for the first time. The carers do a fabulous job and ensure he is well taken care of in all aspects. I highly recommend this nursery.

Teddies Tots Day Nursery has been the perfect, supportive and nurturing environment for our neurodiverse child. We are grateful everyday that we chose this nursery. I love the feel that the staff and children are like a family and that our son feels genuinely cared for. Communication has been excellent
and we especially appreciate the new app. The activities arranged and the corresponding photos are much appreciated.

Our little girl, despite being so young, is always smiling ear to ear when when we collect her.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was eleven months old and is now currently in upper preschool. She has loved every day there and is always so happy to go. All the staff in every room she has been in have been brilliant and I feel she has developed extremely well in this setting and should

My daughter has been at Teddies Tots Day Nursery since November 2019 and she absolutely loves it. The staff are all fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Teddies Tots Day Nursery have done nothing but nurture and support our daughter since the moment she stepped foot in the door. She comes bounding out so excited about her day. Her speech has improved massively and she’s always so proud of all the drawings and paintings she’s done. We love this nursery

Teddies Tots Day Nursery is a great nursery, the staff are wonderful, they really care about the children and the nursery has a very welcoming atmosphere. My eldest son started here when he was one and left last year to start school and my youngest son now goes as well. My boys loved and love the nursery
and enjoyed and enjoy going everyday. The facilities are great and the management are continually investing in it. I have recommended Teddies Tots day Nursery to lots of people.

A lovely nursery that I would highly recommend. My child has attended for over three years. Staff have always been highly professional, attentive and supportive throughout that time. Staff retention is excellent which is very reassuring and as a result I feel my child has received continuity of care
to support their development. Excellent communication with families, which has been further developed in response to the current time, to use of the app which is frequently updated with photos and relevant information. The app means you get an insight into the day of your child at nursery and all the activities they have been doing.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2020

Hello I am Chloe the nursery manager for Teddies Tots Nursery. I am level 3 qualified in childcare and education and have been working in daycare settings for more than 11 years. Throughout the years I have worked my way up to nursery manager completing many courses to develop my knowledge and to support the families I work with. I have now been a nursery manager for over 6 years so have lots of experience in this role. My passion is for the children and families who come through the setting supporting all families through the early milestones before the children head off to “big school” I also have a passion for mentoring a staff team to provide them with opportunities to grow and develop to bringing out their passions so the children and families receive the best care and education possible. We have a fantastic team and one which I am very proud to be working with.


In my personal life I enjoy walking, running and generally keeping fit and healthy and try to promote this with our children and families too. I also enjoy knitting and watering my many house plants.
