Bright Horizons Brockley has a great reputation locally to deliver some of the best childcare in the area, having looked after hundreds of children since they opened in 2015.

They provide exceptional childcare for babies, toddlers and children aged 3 months to 5 years. All age groups benefit from the extensive Growing Enhancements programmes to provide learning and development in fields such as Reading, Writing, Maths, Sports, Science, IT and Art.

All of the rooms are extremely well-equipped, featuring the latest in early years and educational equipment. There are also outdoor spaces for all ages which are well-resourced and provide opportunities for learning outside.

The nursery is extremely secure and benefits from security systems upon entry, providing a safe environment for your child.

The building itself contains many period features for that “home from home” feeling. It’s a bright, airy and engaging space that truly facilitates the best in early years care. They pride themselves on the settling in sessions and can put together a plan for you and your family to ensure your child is fully settled in advance of them starting with the nursery.

The staff team is qualified to a variety of levels, some having been with the nursery for a number of years and some who are starting out in their childcare careers. They have found that this mix of ages and genders within the team gives a great benefit to children’s confidence and social development.

Wonderful nursery. Lovely staff. My child has become more sociable and engaged in activities since starting last October 24. I have seen the change in them and they really enjoy going in. There is a nice variety of food and in general the fact my child seems happy to go is what's most important to me
as it shows they are very comfortable in the nursery environment .

My son started attending Brockley Day Nursery in July this year just before his 1st birthday. The staff were so lovely and welcoming while he was settling in. And now only 6 weeks in, he absolutely loves going to nursery. They have activities organised every day which they notify us of at the beginning
of the week. It's been so nice getting regular picture updates of him at nursery participating in these activities. He seems to really love the food too! Overall we've had a great experience and that's all down to how attentive and caring all the staff are. Not just those who work directly with him but also those working in other classes and those in the office. Couldn't have hoped for a better nursery.

We could not be happier with Bright Horizons Brockley. They have been absolutely wonderful for our little boy. He started attending 2 days per week when he was 18 months. He has improved hugely in confidence and with his social and verbal skills. The children are always involved in fun activities and
our son loves the food. The team in BS2 are very special - they have been so gentle and caring with our son and he has a wonderful relationship with his keyworkers. The nursery is managed very well. We are really grateful to have such an excellent nursery nearby.

I have never experienced so much care in an establishment. My son has spent three years in a different nursery and I went nursery "shopping" and came across Bright Horizons Brockley Day Nursery and Preschool. The management were beyond welcoming during the tour and I had to bring my partner for a second
tour as I wanted him to also feel the aura.
Settling in has been perfect! The baby room team are beyond attentive to our little girl and the energy throughout the nursery is just beautiful. In just two weeks everybody in the nursery knew my daughter's name! She isn't even in their rooms.
The app is very good! Even though I get a breakdown of meals, sleep etc. through the app, when I pick her up I get a full breakdown of the day - who she played with, her attempts to stand, what made her happy or sad... and when sharing such detail the emotion comes across as if they were the parent! The excitement and joy and genuine care are incredible.
I am certain that my daughter's development is going to exceed here.

My daughter started in the last few weeks in Baby Stars 2, and the team at Bright Horizons Brockley have been so caring and supportive as my little one has been settling. It's been an emotional time, my daughter has big separation anxiety - but the team are so thoughtful, enquiring about her favourite

Our 1 year old joined in the autumn and we’ve been delighted with how well all the staff have cared for him and tailored their approach to meet his needs. The staff are all lovely and welcoming and he took very little time to settle and be happy to go into his room.
Our first child went to a different

My daughter started nursery here at 8 months old and has since developed wonderful, affectionate relationships with peers, carers and all staff. The environment is safe and clean, children are provided with age-appropriate activities that stimulate their development and afforded opportunities to play,

Have had my little one at Brockley, Bright Horizons for nearly four years and I’m always so grateful for the wonderful care, time and interest he receives. Communications are very clear. The management team are wonderful and always accommodating and supportive. They take genuine care of all staff, children
and parents.
My little one is in launch pad and he has jumped miles ahead with the wonderful team there.
Staff are always happy. You never really see any new faces but long-tenured, experienced, kind and knowledgeable carers in the room. Four staff members, in particular, are brilliant and my little one loves going to nursery. They always come up with great activities, take them on little trips and explore.

We’re so happy we picked Bright Horizons! We were really nervous putting our son in nursery at 7 months old but the settling-in process was so smooth and he didn’t cry once. He’s now been there five months and absolutely loves it! We are so grateful to everyone who works there and are super impressed

My son has been visiting the nursery for 9 months now and I couldn’t be any happier with how it is going. He loves to be dropped off every day and sometimes even ignores me when I come to pick him up because his day has apparently been great. The staff are amazing. He gets nurtured and loved, they teach

Staff are brilliant and very loving with the kids. Great family atmosphere with all staff knowing and getting involved with all the children. Run exceptionally well by the manger who is a friendly face every day as well as being extremely efficient and reliable.

Our daughter has been with Bright Horizons, Brockley Day Nursery and Preschool for two years now from when she was very little in Baby Stars, graduating to the more adventurous Little Explorers class and she absolutely loves it there! We've found the staff to be incredibly kind, accommodating to change
and keep us informed daily of our daughter's activities via the app. She's really made some true friends there (especially the chef), we've learned so much as parents getting support from the awesome staff and we're so thankful that this nursery is in our lives.

We've sent two children to Brockley, Bright Horizons and couldn't be happier. The staff are universally lovely and you can tell how much everyone cares about the children. We very much feel that the carers take an active interest in the children's well-being and we've been very grateful for their help
and advice from everything from potty training, to battling various toddler illnesses. The activities are thoughtful and fun. Our son, exactly like our daughter, loves being there and is clearly thriving.

Brilliant nursery, couldn’t imagine my child going anywhere else. The staff are so helpful, kind and caring, I really appreciate them. My son loves nursery and has such a great relationship with the staff. The management team are thoughtful and kind and the key workers are phenomenal.

The carers in Baby Stars 1 have been amazing with my little one starting last month. They are calm and caring and have made the settling-in process so easy. My daughter settled so quickly and always comes out with a huge smile.

My son started to attend the nursery in September 2021, he loves the nursery and the carers. The settling went smooth and my son cannot wait for Wednesday and Thursday to meet his friends. Staff are really professional, friendly and always ready to cooperate with parents to meet their needs. My son
is not a big eater, so to help him to have a better approach with the food, they started to read books and did activities related to healthy eating and I really appreciate all the effort that the carers made to help him. All the managers are also fantastic at welcoming the children with a big smile in the morning and really helpful and flexible to accommodate varying work schedules. I cannot ask for more... excellent childcare provider!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My journey in childcare started in 2006 when I was part of a team opening a new sure start community nursery in my local area. I went on to complete my childcare qualifications and stayed in this setting until I had my daughter in 2011.


For the past 9 years, I've been working in three of Bright Horizons' nursery settings. From room leader to third in charge, and deputy manager. I joined the Brockley team in November 2023 after being promoted to Manager in February 2022.


I'm passionate about providing high-quality childcare through a safe and secure environment while supporting my staff team to provide activities that promote each child's unique personality while catering to the individual needs of each child and parent. Creating a home away from home atmosphere for the children we care for is very important to us at Brockley.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2020

Chloe started working at Bright Horizons in 2016. Whilst undertaking her degree in Education and Early Years, she always knew she wanted to work with Preschool-aged children. Chloe started as the lead in Preschool and then went on to become the third in charge and then Deputy in 2019, also taking on the SENCO role.
