Acorns Parc Nantgarw is ideally located on the Coleg Y Cymoedd site just off the A470 and near to the M4, within easy reach of Cardiff and the Valleys.

This charming open plan nursery has a covered outdoor area to ensure exciting play whatever the weather and has large gardens with a little wooden bridge for outdoor play, or racing round on trikes.

The experienced team ensure little minds are stimulated every day with exciting activities, early years teaching and purpose built equipment.

My granddaughter has been at Parc Nantgarw Acorns since she was 9 months old. She absolutely loves every minute that she is there. All staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very professional in every aspect of their working day. My daughter and son in law now treat the staff as if they part of our family
and know that they care for my granddaughter in a safe and happy environment.


My granddaughter continues to develop a lovely personality and has become a funny, intelligent little person. Every day the children are kept busy with different activities and have their own sleeping cot/area when the activities just get too much!


Food is prepared fresh and is nutritional and varied. At the end of the day, parents/guardians receive a report card stating everything important that concerns your child for that day. My granddaughter is always happy when picked up.


Overall, I can’t praise the staff at Parc Nantgarw Acorns enough. Keep up the good work Parc Nantgarw Acorns, you are amazing!

Acorns Nursery is absolutely excellent. I am delighted with the way they care for my daughter. They provide a happy, safe, comforting environment. My daughter is developing at a significant rate with her speech, vocabulary and play skills. She interacts with other children well. Acorns have contributed
to this process of development significantly. The nursery nurse is superb with my daughter.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Every single member of staff I encounter is friendly, knowledgeable and professional and provide fantastic care for my fourteen-month little one. They arrange a wide variety of stimulating activities and my little one will often come home with new skills
and sounds that she has been taught in the nursery. The nursery provides excellent, healthy and varied meals that you can see are cooked fresh on site as you walk past the kitchen full of fresh produce. Standards of cleanliness are also excellent. Management are extremely helpful and pleasant, and will always respond quickly if you have any questions.
In short, I never, ever have to worry about my little girl when leaving her in the care of Acorns. She always leaves there happy and smiling after a full day of fun. I would not send her anywhere else.

Nursery staff are well trained and friendly. I am reassured that if my son had any health issues that they would react appropriately.
The environment and activities are fantastic. The menu is varied, nutritious and of an excellent standard. The staff write daily report cards so I know what my son
has been doing and how much food/milk he has had, which is so helpful.
The nursery holds free events and activities for all the family, which are extremely thoughtful.
My son loves it here.

My twin boys attend this nursery one day a week and I will say from day one, I've always felt comfortable for many reasons.
The nursery itself is well equipt and has that school like setting, the number of babies in each group is just right, my boys never look like they are overcrowded. The staff are
all very friendly and efficient. The end of day reports are very detailed so you understand clearly exactly what they have done.
The outdoor garden is big and they carry out many creative activities.
My boys leave completely happy and shattered.
