Step By Step Montessori is truly a gem. The staff's genuine warmth and kindness make it a special place where kids truly come first. The level of attention and care they provide is exceptional, fostering independence and compassion in the children. Our first daughter flourished during her four years there and now, with our second child just one month into her journey at Step By Step, we're already witnessing positive changes in her confidence and independence. We are so excited to be part of the Step By Step community once again. We are confident that our daughter is in the best hands for her continued growth and development.

Our daughter loved being part of the Step by Step family. She is already well into her first year in school, but she is still asking about her teachers from nursery, and she is always asking me to take her for a visit. I can't recommend them enough Step by Step. The staff are well educated to teach children life skills, and the nursery is exceptionally clean. They serve fresh homemade lunches and healthy snacks, and they celebrate all festivals and take trips to local museums and parks. It was an amazing experience for my daughter. Thank you to everyone who was looking after her.

My younger son has been at Step by Step for 2-years, and I have been so impressed with the care and attention given to him. The Montessori is immaculately maintained and so much thought has been put into each activity that is undertaken. This nursery is unique in that the owners are fully involved and accessible every day to discuss your child and any queries you have. My son has learnt all sorts of skills and language that he would not have been exposed to in a normal nursery. Our older son attended very reputable conventional nurseries, and we can see the vast difference between those settings and this one. We have been so happy that we decided to delay his entry to school so that he could benefit from being at Step by Step for another year.

When I compare her to other girls her age I can see that this approach to education really does work. But the credit for it must go to the teaching staff. Their passion and enthusiasm is what has made the nursery what it is. If anyone asked me if I would recommend this nursery for their grandchildren my answer would be absolutely!

My daughter moved to Step By Step in September 2020 and I honestly can't believe she's only been there for 5 months. It feels like that's the only nursery she's been to. The nursery have instantly welcomed her into the welcome and she ran in open arms. During the pandemic, when the nursery was open it was my little one's form of normality in life. We are extremely grateful. The manager and the rest of the team have genuinely cared and nurtured for the children in a very warm and loving way. The variety of activities they do in a day is exceptional and the feedback shown to us via photos is lovely to receive. My daughter starts school in September 2021 but if I could and I know if she could, she'd happily stay at Step by Step for another year. I would highly recommend this lovely nursery because of the resources and it's grounding ethos. The communication is great and their outdoor area is just endearing.

My 2-year-old son started in September and the staff was very supportive in making sure he settled well at his own pace; he is now always happy to go. The staff is very professional, caring and friendly. A lot of care has been put into a unique and beautiful environment; children are irresistibly drawn to it! It is designed to promote independence, social interaction but also to appeal to the children’s interests and is constantly reviewed and changed. The class has a homely feel and is like a mini-community where children enjoy taking part in looking after their environment. As it’s a mixed aged group, children learn to respect and care for each other. The beautiful hands-on material also allows children to learn literacy and numeracy in a very sensorial & concrete way; making abstract learning easier, more interesting for children. I find my son has already grown more independent, he has also developed better self-control and seems quite content and calm when he comes out of school.

Our daughter joined Step by Step Montessori in September 2019, and by the time she starts reception, will have spent two years there. She absolutely loves going every day! She has developed incredibly well there and has gone from being quite a shy girl when starting, to a much more confident girl and so happy to be with her friends each day. We are so happy with the choice we made to send her there. It has a very nurturing atmosphere and the Montessori set up inside is so beautiful. I would not hesitate in recommending that you send your child to this nursery!

My sons attending the nursery was one of the best things I have ever done. Lots of improvement when it comes to do with their education, communication and lots more.

My daughter loved it and she really thrived in this environment. It gave her a good head start to starting reception. It is a privately run nursery where staff are kind and nurturing.

I recommend this nursery because children from there are lovely, well-behaved and care about each other because the staff is doing a great job.

Step By Step Montessori is a really great nursery. My daughter attended from 2016 to 2018. She started as a very shy 2-year-old and grew in confidence so much, thanks to the patience and caring attitudes of staff. The atmosphere is really nice, very calm and quiet. The teachers are fantastic and have good communication with parents. They teach the children to be caring and independent, which helps them prepare for Reception. I would 100% recommend to any parent.

This nursery is honestly amazing. The staff are so friendly and genuinely care for your children. A great learning environment for my daughters. My eldest has just started reception and the staff are pleasantly impressed at her academic progress, social interaction and behaviour.

Our daughter has been with “Step By Step Montessori” since 2017. From the beginning she was made welcome and looked after. The progress our child made in the past two years is amazing, thanks to the great care from all the lovely staff there. This is a family run nursery, with kids in the centre of their mind. The Montessori philosophy meets purpose build settings, where the kids are soaked in various activities - from practical, through sensorial to literacy and numeracy. Our kid loves it and we are ever so grateful for the solid foundation she gets.

My daughter went to Step by Step and I cannot thank the staff enough for everything that they did for her. I cannot recommend Step by Step enough to anyone looking for a Montessori school.

The managers and all of the dedicated teachers at Step by Step did an amazing job with my daughter and she will forever remember her amazing years at Step by Step. We are forever grateful for everything they did and for taking such good care of our little girl who is now in reception. Because of their dedication and hard work, my daughter is now a step a head and is doing really well at school.
