Little Tots Nursery - Stoney Heath

Such a lovely nursery. We moved him from another nursery, and he is so much happier here. He gets to be himself and have more independence than his last nursery, and he's developing so well. The staff are just so friendly and personable, and it just feels like a little family. He always comes back so happy and seems to have so much fun. They have managed so well and given our son so much normality during this pandemic. We cannot wait for him to start school in the summer.

This is such a happy supportive nursery. The staff go above and beyond every day when looking after the children.

Both my middle child and my youngest have attended little tots and they have been exceptional throughout. My youngest is still in attendance and has additional difficulties resulting in external SENCO support which the nursery have welcomed and taken on board without any grumblings. My youngest is now thriving and has improved immensely since attending Little Tots, so much so that his specialists are always amazed at his progress. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone considering a care provider for their children.

My little boy started in the baby room at the beginning of November and at only 9 months old it was hard to know how he would settle. I cannot rate the care enough - the staff are so friendly and attentive and they have made it very easy for me to return to work. My little boy absolutely loves his time at nursery which speaks for itself. Couldn’t recommend Little Tots enough.

The children have freedom to move around in the setting (inside and outside) as well as explore the great outdoors through forest school or trips on the bus. There is such a huge selection of activities to choose from and they always make an effort to come up with new weekly themes. When my son started school he already had some basic reading and writing skills which made the transition that much smoother. Overall, I feel lucky to have this nursery near me and thank all the staff for everything they do. It really is an excellent place!

We are so happy with Little Tots and the care that our son and daughter have received. They love all the staff and we are all made to feel like we are part of the Little Tots family. My daughter was unsure about Forest school sometimes but the staff went the extra mile to make sure she enjoyed herself and wanted to go to Forest school. They are always doing something amazing and different with the children and getting them out and about on the minibus. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Little Tots. We will be very sad once we have to leave for school but I know that Little Tots have given our children the best start for school life.

My youngest child has recently started at Little Tots and has settled in beautifully, just as her 2 older siblings did.The staff are super friendly and welcoming. They show a clear passion for working with children with their enthusiasm and big smiles at the door each morning. The activities and themes change each week, whilst still allowing for free play and individuality. The Montessori approach has enabled my older children to flourish at school, with both their academics and friendships. They still enjoy attending Little Tots during school holidays for holiday club, which is a testament to the staff and their time spent at the nursery.

My youngest child is in the new baby room. The room has its own door to the outside space and they will use this garden the majority of the day playing with mud, water, sand, you name it. They mix regularly with the older children in the morning and evening and sometimes will join them in their playground.

They have use of a minibus which means trips out to garden centres, parks and forest school.

We have the peace of mind that while we are at work, they are being cared for and enjoying themselves.

I feel so lucky I have found a safe environment where my child is thriving and where he goes with a smile on his face.

Lovely activities including Forest School, yoga and dancing. Thoughtful and caring staff and good setting with all ages together next to a working farm.

I cannot recommend Little Tots enough. The staff go above and beyond to help and encourage the children to learn in a fun environment. They are all understanding of your children's needs and have been very accommodating to our change in circumstances which has meant my daughter can stay at Little Tots.

We have been using Little Tots nursery now for almost a year for our son, we really like the surrounding area, the forest schools, the ethos of learning through doing.

All of these were a great reason as to why we sent our son here, having been there for a number of months we have grown to know the staff and I can say that they are all amazing.

Our son has a fantastic day, every day we pick him up he is having a story or doing something with the other children or staff, whenever our little boy is upset due to us leaving or is tired they always make the effort to spend time with him to cheer him up and make sure he's okay. Every time I've been there I've never seen a child excluded or upset not receiving attention like many other larger nurseries.

Equipment wise they have lots for our son to do, every other day he comes home with an amazing art creation.

We are sending our next son there in March, I highly recommend you check Little Tots out.

Since starting at the age of 2 in a mixed age environment, our son is thriving at Little Tots. Having quickly formed bonds with the staff, his speech and confidence have come on leaps and bounds and he obviously enjoys his time there. He shares with us (with a beaming smile on his face) little snippets about his friends, the staff and activities. every day. We're looking forward to hearing stories about his trips to Forest School when he turns 3 as he especially loves playing outdoors. We're so delighted that he is flourishing in this caring and nurturing environment, and would highly recommend any prospective parents to visit.

Both of my children have been through Little Tots Nursery - Stoney Heath and I am extremely happy and satisfied with the experience. Apart from the professional, caring, friendly staff, the excellent facilities and experiences, the most important thing for me is that both my children are/were happy. It is a very happy environment like an extension of a close, caring family. I feel reassured that my children are in the best possible place. Receiving the best care and I will be sad when my youngest leaves!

The opportunities given to the children are fantastic with forest school, dance, yoga, cooking and a lot of other amazing activities. I couldn’t be happier with this little gem of a nursery and would highly recommend it to everyone.

They often do charity events for children. I think that shows how much they care about children and that helps me to trust to leave my son with them.

My two granddaughters attended Little Tots before starting school and we have nothing but praise for the venue and the staff. There were many various activities for the children to take part in, as well as a sound learning programme. We witnessed genuine interest and care from the lovely staff, and the girls really enjoyed going to Little Tots and thrived in the nurturing environment it provided. It is well equipped for the limited space available and provides a stimulating area for children.

The team at Little Tots Nursery do an amazing job. My little girl absolutely loves her days there. In fact, she’s sad when it’s the weekend! The team are caring, energetic, passionate and always smiling!
