At Rose Cottage Haywards Heath Day Nursery and Preschool, children aged 6 months to 5 years enjoy days filled with fun, learning, and care in a warm and nurturing environment. Conveniently located between Haywards Heath and Balcombe, with easy access from the A23, the nursery is set in the heart of mid-Sussex and housed in a beautiful and inviting setting.

Its a lovely nursery. The best in terms of the outdoor space and activities, professional and caring staff. The Rose Cottage nursery is generous with acquiring things for craft, art and different activities (comparing with the other nurseries in our area).

Our girls love being at Rose Cottage. The staff have been fantastic and have been so caring and supportive of their development and experience whilst there. The grounds are fantastic and we love how much time they spend outside, come rain of shine!

I highly recommend Rose Cottage. My son has been there since he was a little over a year and from the beginning he has always been happy and excited whenever he's told it's a nursery day! The staff are lovely and friendly and always keep us informed. They have theme weeks which always lead to fun activities
and artwork. The outdoor space is excellent and they are frequently outside, my son loves getting to play in the garden and explore the woodland, and he adores seeing the animals.

We have been extremely happy with the care and learning opportunities our daughter receives at Rose Cottage. She has now been there for 4 months and happily waves goodbye when we drop her off. It didn't take her very long at all to settle in as the staff are extremely friendly and she clearly loves
them all. The communication between the staff and parents is great and their learning topics are clearly updated and displayed in the drop off area. The outdoor area and resident animals are unrivalled compared to other nurseries' settings. We feel very lucky to have Rose Cottage on our doorstep!

I am so pleased we chose Rose Cottage for our son. He started when he was 11-months-old and thanks to the brilliant staff in the baby room he settled in so well. The facilities are great and they put a lot of effort and creativity into the activities for the babies to do. The online journal updates
of what they have been up to are great and we get regular learning/development updates too.
I feel really confident leaving my son there for the day as I know he will have fun and be well looked after. Even on his more 'sensitive' days, they have comforted him and I know he feels safe there. He often doesn't look back to say goodbye when I drop him off!

A wonderful nursery in a gorgeous setting. The management team is fab and knows every single child so well and their diligence filters down to the more junior staff. The amount of time the kids spend outside is wonderful and the nursery itself feels like one big family. So happy my daughters got to

The team here are incredible. My daughter was with Rose Cottage for over three years. I have never been happier. With regular feedback, I always felt I was a part of my daughter's nursery journey. The staff are caring, kind and extremely nurturing. My daughter was given tools to become a confident,
caring and bubbly character and that is a credit to the hard work of the staff at Rose Cottage.

I can't recommend Rose Cottage enough. My daughter has loved her time there, only leaving this week as she is starting school. They have prepared her so well that I have no concerns about her settling into school. The staff are all wonderful with the kids and manage to think of new things to do with
them every day. The outside space is definitely what attracted me to Rose Cottage in the first place. They spend a lot of time in the garden and woods which is what my daughter enjoys the most, plus the added bonus of animals which you wouldn't get with most nurseries. Very sad my daughter's time has come to an end but wouldn't hesitate to send my new baby there once she is old enough.

Our daughter has been at Rose Cottage since she was just over 12 months old and she loves it. The staff are so friendly and caring, communication with parents is excellent and the children all seem very settled and happy. The staff keep in regular contact to feedback about the children’s progress. The
nursery itself is beautiful: the outdoor wooded area and farm are amazing and the kids spend so much time outside exploring.

My eldest daughter has been at Rose Cottage for over a year now and we have been nothing but happy with the nursery, the facilities, the staff. Our youngest has also now recently joined and the nursery do all they can to ensure they settle in well and both children are really very happy there. The outside
space and facilities there are brilliant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone living in the area.

I love this nursery and I can’t praise it enough. Everyone is very friendly and they really support the children with their individual needs. My daughter to start with was a little upset with going but always reached out for whoever met us to take her in for the day, now I don’t even get a wave. The
outside space is amazing! My little girl definitely keeps them outside rain or shine. It’s lovely having the animals there too and how they teach them about them, there has been some new ducklings too. I have to work out the different actions from songs they obviously do as she’s always doing them at home too. My daughter has really developed here and is so happy. I’ve never been worried that she won’t have the best time here and will come back showing me new things that she has learnt.

I can't speak highly enough of Rose Cottage. It is a fantastic environment for children preschool to spend time in. The nursery workers are exceptional and so kind and encouraging of the children and my little boy absolutely loves it. They spend a large amount of time outdoors in their garden and also
in the woods, with animals to learn about, and lots of outdoor toys, and activities which is such an advantage. I am so happy that they have so much fresh air and freedom. My little one was born just before the pandemic and so had not been to any baby groups, seen anyone else except immediate family, and was exceptionally clingy. The transition to nursery was very smooth, the nursery staff very patient and gentle meaning that he adapted far quicker than I ever imagined. He is developing so well and learning so much at nursery. Rose Cottage makes it easy on the guilt that I have to work as I know he is in such a wonderful environment he loves. Thank you to all those at Rose Cottage!

From the offset, the staff at Rose Cottage have been a pleasure to deal with and are so enthusiastic about our daughter’s development.
Our daughter has a fantastic time every time she is at nursery and as parents having online access to a journal which documents her experiences is fantastic. It’s
also a great way of sharing her development at home with the team.
I would say the outdoor facilities at Rose Cottage are brilliant. Our daughter thoroughly enjoys spending time in the garden and woods and also interacting with the animals which live on site.
I highly recommend Rose Cottage to friends, it’s a wonderful setting with fantastic staff who are truly invested in providing a high quality of care.

My daughter has attended Rose Cottage Day Nursery Ltd twice a week since she was nine months old and I can honestly say sending her to this nursery was the best decision for her and us! She absolutely loves attending nursery and I know she will be sad to leave when she starts school this September.
The staff are what really make this place so special and I know she is in safe hands when I leave her each morning. We have another baby on the way and there is no doubt in my mind that Rose Cottage Day Nursery Ltd will be where we chose to send him or her when the time comes.

I am beyond impressed with Rose Cottage Day Nursery Ltd. The change in my daughter since joining the nursery at twelve months has been astounding. The happiness she displays even just at arriving at the nursery says it all. I love all the activities that she is exposed to, her outdoor time, her love
of the animals and interacting with all the other children. The app is wonderful for communication and I have never once felt I can’t ask or discuss any queries I have. The entire team is so kind, helpful and I know they have all the children’s best interests at heart at all times. The food is fantastic and I love the fact we are able to see the menus too and I have seen a marked improvement in my daughter’s eating of different fruits and vegetables as she is used to having these at nursery. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend this nursery, I have complete peace of mind when I drop off my daughter and to top it off she often doesn’t want to come home when I collect her. We couldn’t be happier.

My daughter had been at Rose Cottage Day Nursery Ltd for a year now. From day one we were impressed by the facilities, space and the staff. Our daughter is so settled and happy there and always talks about her friends she has there. The staff are all so warm, engaging and it feels like they go above
and beyond for the children as well as their families. The interaction online with the nursery throughout lockdown has been wonderful, we have a real insight into what goes on at the nursery and encouraged to be involved. The outside space and facilities at Rose Cottage Day Nursery Ltd are incredible for the little ones, we feel so very lucky to be able to send our daughter to such a wonderful place everyday.

Leaving my son at nursery was something I dreaded for months when my maternity leave was coming to end, my son was born during Covid-19 so all he had ever known was our little bubble, I should have never have worried as I couldn't have left him in more capable hands. My son has been attending now for
over three months and has settled in to nursery seamlessly and that is down to the hard work of two staff members and their team. I recommend this nursery to anyone that will listen. My son is thriving and has come on leaps and bounds in terms of his confidence and interaction with others. When we arrive at nursery in the morning he smiles, so I immediately know from this reaction he's happy, comfortable and looking forward to the day ahead. The facilities here are excellent such as the garden which they use regularly. The communication is great and I really like the app they use to upload photos and his care diary. Its a very calm and relaxed atmosphere and I am so pleased we picked it.

I honestly would recommend Rose Cottage Day Nursery Ltd to any parent. We moved them from another nursery and since sending both of ours here, they have flourished. From the outside space to play, to the animals, to the activity focus weeks, the list goes on and on. The main thing for me is the wonderful
team, they are not only attentive and caring but they are also constantly doing activities to support with their development. Both of ours talk about their day is given with such happiness and they look forward to going, which as parents is all you really want!
