Bright Horizons Hove Day Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education in a stimulating environment, for children of all needs and abilities aged six months to five years. Individuality and diversity are embraced at the nursery, and children are encouraged to express and explore their personalities.

Activities are both child- and adult-led and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), allowing children to develop emotionally, physically and academically in literacy and mathematics. Children can learn and play outside all year round thanks to the nursery’s specially landscaped garden which features a growing area where children can learn about nurturing plants.

Staff at Bright Horizons Hove Day Nursery and Preschool offer a range of experience and qualifications, from trainees with life experience to graduates and professionals. All staff members strive to offer continuity of care for children at the nursery and provide feedback to parents to enable them to follow their child’s progress and development. Each child is assigned a Key Person, responsible for their development throughout their time at the nursery, and parents are welcome to meet regularly with their child’s Key Person.

We all absolutely love Supersaurus. The staff are fantastic including my son's key worker who he just adores. The nursery is super clean. My son has so much fun here. Every day he is desperate to get inside and have a great time. He is always so happy when I drop him and collect him and often asks for
his key worker when at home. We couldn’t have found a better nursery for our son. We feel very lucky to have him attend here and look forward to many more great times to come. The food my son gets is fantastic and seems to be a much better offering than some of my friends who go elsewhere. The safeguarding is also fantastic. I couldn't recommend Supersaurus enough.

Very pleased with the nursery, our daughter loves it. They listen to feedback and action it. Like the fact we can check in on our daughter during the day with the cameras.

After having visited a number of nurseries, I felt as though they were all perfectly adequate but there was something missing. As soon as I walked into Supersaurus, I understood what that missing part was... A feeling...That feeling one can't describe, but it just fills you with reassurance and excitement.

my girls (aged 3 and 1) are proud Supersaurus kids and they both absolutely love going. I have so much respect and love for the team, who are all very caring, happy and super creative. Kids are encouraged to be independent and to develop their own relationships. The days are structured with lovely routines, without it feeling rigorous or harsh. How the team get all children to sit in a circle and listen or get them all to nap at the same time every single day is absolutely beyond me. The food is great, space is amazing, the garden is outstanding. They even have bunnies (yes, bunnies)...
I would love to pack in the day job and just hang out there myself - it's THAT lovely!

I have visited many nurseries before deciding which one is best for my little boy and Supersaurus is by far the best. Not only is the nursery impeccably clean and organised but they are also absolutely amazing. My 2 year old has only been there for a month and I can already see the amazing changes it
has on him. He comes back home with lots of new words and phrases every day and expresses himself so clearly. He had no problem in settling in as the staff were brilliant with easing him in, always reassuring us and even going further and beyond by giving us photos of the nursery to take home. His key worker is brilliant and he always talks about her and looks forward to seeing her. All other staff are wonderful and they seem to know every child, as whoever opens the door for us in the morning greets him with his name. I cannot recommend Supersaurus enough and can't imagine there could be any better place for my little boy to be looked after.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Supersaurus and the quality of care that my daughter has been given over the last two and a half years, she has absolutely thrived in the environment. The staff are fully engaged with the children, which is evident from how my daughter speaks about everyone
and her experiences at nursery; she has made very special relationships. It is clear that the staff love what they do and the children benefit so much from that. Every day seems to be different when we talk about what she has been doing, she is learning so much, and she really looks forward to going in every day. I love that she brings home the things that she has made and is proud of her achievements. Also, the menu is fantastic, it's healthy and varied and changes weekly, my daughter has the opportunity to try different types of food. One week coming home to say that she'd eaten a lychee! We have been very impressed with the quality and types of foods that she enjoys whilst at nursery.

Both of my children attended Supersaurus from the age of 9 months until they started school. The nursery was excellent in all areas.
The staff were kind and approachable, the food enjoyed and facilities amazing. I never had concerns about leaving my children at the nursery and any worries I did have
were addressed swiftly and professionally. My children were always happy at Supersaurus and they both made some great friends.

Supersaurus is an excellent nursery, I have recommended it to several people.


We have found the staff friendly and loving towards our son, who has a wonderful relationship with his key worker, there is a wide range of activities, both inside and out in their garden.


The only – small – issue that

I have is that we can’t go into his room to collect our son. I assume this is due to very limited parking and the fact the nursery do not allow shoes inside. But, I would love to be able to see him in action sometimes.
We can log into the webcam at any time, but it’s not quite the same thing. Although, the webcam is a very handy service and we log in a lot, more than we ever thought we would.

Supersaurus was recommended to us by a friend with high standards. We intended to see several nurseries but after one viewing, we knew it was the one. Our son has been attending since he was 6 months and is now an energetic 4 year old. He loves nursery and always looks forward to going. It has a calm
energy, the children are happy and stimulated. The activities are varied, fun and messy whilst still encouraging development and education. The staff are very organised, friendly, engaged and enthusiastic. My little boy and his key person have a very special and close relationship. I have daily reports on what he's done, played with and his general well being. The nursery is very clean and well laid out. The garden is exciting, perfect for children who are outdoorsy or need more physical activity. There is a dedicated handyman for the 'Saurus' group so it is well maintained. The chef makes a fresh, varied, balanced and international daily menu.
I have always recommended Supersaurus and will continue to do so!

Excellent nursery. Staff are all caring and tentative. They work very carefully reviewing children's progress. The children love the food and the nursery is very clean and tidy, whilst being a nurturing environment too. Can't recommend enough!

We have been extremely impressed with Supersaurus. Over the four years our son has attended, we have seen the staff take great care over his development.

Always impressed with the staff and facilities of this nursery. They go above and beyond to look after the kids and clearly have a good relationship with each one. I can't recommend them highly enough. My little one loves it here and has for the last 18 months. We will not hesitate to sign up our next

I looked at numerous nurseries for my daughter, but as soon as I walked into Supersaurus I knew this was the perfect choice. And I haven't been disappointed. My daughter has been here for over 3 years and is extremely happy and settled and I feel confident in her being there.
The staff are fabulous
as are the facilities. I highly recommend!

We are extremely happy we chose Supersaurus as our nursery, it has met and exceeded our expectations.
The staff are very friendly and take a real interest in how our son is doing and his development needs, I feel like they genuinely all care.
They always find new ways of keeping everything interesting

We had heard so many good things about Supersaurus prior to our daughter being ready for nursery, that we were keen to place her there. I'm happy to say, we weren't disappointed.
They provide a very organised, structured, caring, fun and creative environment, that has meant, we have not worried once
since she started nearly 3 years ago.
We have seen her grow into a confident, engaged and caring child who enjoys learning as much as playing with her friends. She is so content there, and that's down to the staff being consistently brilliant with all the children.
She will miss nursery when she goes to school in September, but they have given her the best foundation for the next part of her journey.

From the minute my son and l walked into Supersaurus I knew it was the place for us. This nursery is by far a cut above any other. From the excellent caring staff, the brilliant activities they run throughout the whole day to the super healthy varied hot meals they provide twice a day I simply cannot
fault it. The proof by far though is how happy my son is going there. The peace of mind you have once you drop your child off at Supersaurus is invaluable. I would highly recommend this lovely environment for any child.

Our experience with Supersaurus has gone so far beyond anything we could possibly have expected.


Every single staff member, including grounds staff, chef, management, admin etc. is absolutely delightful. Every key worker my daughter has had has got to know her almost as well as we do as parents

and I genuinely feel they care for her on that level. They always strike the balance of education and fun beautifully. Dropping my little one off is a heart warming experience - she is excited to see her friends (big and small) and they are excited to see her.


The nursery has been incredibly obliging when we have been disorganised and have had to book her in at very late notice, saving our skins several times.


I would recommend Supersaurus to absolutely everybody. When the Ofsted rating dropped from "outstanding" we were outraged. All the parents agreed that they will always be outstanding to us.

Fantastic nursery to send your child. From security and cleanliness to child development and care, Supersaurus is fantastic.

We could not be more happy with our experience of Supersaurus, Our daughter has been attending for almost 2 years and she absolutely loves it.
I looked around several nurseries and as soon as I stepped foot into Supersaurus it was clear it was a cut above the rest.
The staff are outstanding, friendly,
kind and patient and they cultivate a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging important values in the children.
We are so happy with our daughter's development while attending Supersaurus; it's clear she has fun while learning as she's always talking about new and exciting activities.
The space is beautiful, extremely well-maintained and spotlessly clean, healthy meals are freshly prepared every day.
I would highly recommend Supersaurus - it's such a wonderful place.

My 2 year old always leaves the nursery very happy, chatty and excited about her day. The other day she referred to her key worker as her best friend, which was very sweet. At home she sings songs and plays games that she's learnt at nursery.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2012

After completing my level 3 qualification in childcare at college in 2011 I knew I wanted to begin my career working in a nursery, I was lucky enough to be offered a job at Supersaurus nursery in 2012. I started working in the baby room where I grew in my role and was offered a Room Leader role in 2014 which I proudly accepted. I worked very closely with all families in helping support their children with their development and grew very close relationships.


In 2015 I was then offered the Deputy Manager role at Supersaurus and this taught me a lot about leadership and how to run a nursery in operations. In 2017 I went travelling around South East Asia, Indonesia and Australia for 4 months, I learnt so much from having this once-in-a-lifetime experience and made memories that would last a lifetime! When I returned back to the UK I went to work in our sister nurseries as a Deputy Manager and was promoted Manager in 2018.


I was then offered to complete my level 2 in Leadership and Management and doing this helped broaden my knowledge in leading a team. I have been Manager at Supersaurus Nursery since August 2021 and I thoroughly enjoyed being back at the nursery where I started this journey, coming into work every day to see all of our lovely children really makes my day that much better!

In 2012 I attended the University of Brighton where I completed a BA (Hons) Education undergraduate degree where I discovered my passion for child development within the early year's sector. I was fortunate enough to have been granted the opportunity to work for Supersaurus in 2015 once graduated and spent my time undertaking further study by completing an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare to enable me to support the children to the best of my ability.


I was promoted to Deputy Nursery Manager in 2017 and engaged in an exciting opportunity to complete my Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) at the University of Brighton whilst supporting the sister nurseries in both East and West Sussex. I genuinely feel that I am confident within my professional role to use the knowledge I have acquired in my own educational journey to broaden the children’s experiences by providing the staff with the open opportunity to create awe and wonder each and every day with the children!


I really do love the journey a child takes here at our nursery when starting in our baby room and making their way through until they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to enter school life with confidence. It is always such a proud moment knowing they are prepared for the next stage of their life.
