Situated in a purpose-built setting, with lots of green space, Bright Horizons Dandelions Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery features a large outdoor space which allow the children boundless opportunities to explore the outdoors in all weather conditions and boasts their own forest school.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies and wipes included.
The nursery in Andover has been awarded an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ for their commitment to high quality childcare and education (June 2017).

We have a very good experience with Dandelion Nursery. From the beginning, my child's specific needs and requirements were taken seriously and he has been very well looked after in an environment where he is kept safe and healthy. The staff are always kind, cheerful and helpful and go above and beyond
to cater for us. The activities put on are varied and involve lots of different learning opportunities. Overall, we have been very happy.

All staff are always extremely helpful and very accommodating when needing any extra support or advice. The nursery always has loads of fun activities for the children every week. Cannot fault them in any way. Always informative with any updates of my child and with the nursery and staff.

Dandelions is the perfect setting for my toddler. She's been at the setting for a year now and her development and confidence has grown significantly. The nursery staff are absolutely wonderful, kind, caring and always about putting the children first. The food is high quality, great choice and loved
by the children. I've already enrolled my babies to be ready for them to start! Keep up the fantastic work!

Dandelions have been a wonderful nursery for our son, who started at 9 months old. The staff, particularly his key person, have been wonderful and have communicated well with us throughout. We get regular feedback on our son’s progress and the staff are always happy to discuss further. Our son loves
going and clearly has a great time every day. Although it is a small nursery, the staff are very resourceful and provide a great variety of activities.

My son started at the nursery in January, 2022. He was able to attend prior to his start date for several settling in sessions with his key person. This really supported him with his transition from home to nursery life. My son has settled in so well at the nursery. He absolutely adores going. He has
such a great time, with his key person planning activities for him, following his interests and individual needs. The meals are so nutritious for the children and are prepared to suit his weaning stage. As a parent, I have access to the new parent app, which I love. I get updates throughout the day, of what he has been doing, how he has slept and also photos of him taking part in activities. The management team are so helpful with booking in visits or even extra sessions. Overall, I am so pleased with the nursery and would recommend.

Our little girl adores the ladies at the nursery. She runs down the path every morning and can’t wait to get in and begin her day. She has been taught some Makaton and has continued to use this as she has developed her speech, we are now keen for her to continue learning sign language. Our daughter's
speech and physical development have greatly improved since starting at nursery and the nursery ladies should take a large share of that credit. We genuinely have no doubt that this is a great nursery and we would recommend them time and again. Our little girls face every day, tells us that we made a good choice.

Fantastic place for your little ones to grow and learn. My daughter goes to Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool and absolutely loves it! Staff are well prepared, polite and engaging, always informing us of the daily progress through conversation and notes. Organisation is also on point,
especially given the difficult period we are currently in. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone in the area looking for a safe and comfortable environment for your little ones.

Our daughter has only just starting attending Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool after having a year off from childcare and being at home with us due to Covid-19. She settled in straight away, practically runs in each morning and comes out beaming from ear to ear. The staff are brilliant
with her and update me each day with how she has been. She does not stop talking about nursery and all of her friends there. We did get to view Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool in January 2020 and immediately felt that it was where I wanted to send her. The outdoor space is amazing and she loves being outside so that was a huge bonus. So happy with her care there and she looks forward to going every week, she even asks to go at the weekend.

Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, the lady’s are lovely and truly amazing at their jobs. My little one absolutely loves going and has come on so much since starting. They go above and beyond to make sure your child is happy and achieving to the best of their ability.

We decided to send our daughter to nursery after a year of lockdown as she was struggling socially and burst into tears when anyone spoke to her! The staff at dandelions were great, right from the start. Although we couldn’t go in with our daughter for her settling sessions, she walked right in the
door and she had a great time. Here we are three months on and she has really blossomed, made some friends and is so excited to go to nursery in the morning. Thank you to all staff.

We have been extremely pleased with Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool. The staff are very good at interacting with the children, my son has formed a great bond with his key worker and all of the staff. He has also made some great friends and delights in telling me that the nursery chef
is “the best cooker in the whole world”. Staff provide a good handover to parents each day. We’ve used many nurseries over the years for our children and this has been the best by far. My son is four and a half and has learned all his phonics and started to blend simple words such as ‘hat’, purely through the teaching at Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool. His dietary needs are well catered for, with dairy free yogurts available for him so he can be the same as others.

Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool has been incredible for my daughter, encouraging her to become a confident little girl. She has come on leaps and bounds with her key worker, supporting her throughout her days at the nursery. She doesn’t stop talking about all the amazing things she
has done when I collect her. I recommend this nursery to any of my friends that are looking as I have nothing but positives to say to them about every aspect of the nursery, especially how friendly the staff are!

Our child is flourishing from being at Dandelions. Her interests are encouraged and her learning has been consistently supported and given opportunities to go further. She loves all the different activities and we really like how the learning is guided by the children's interests. The use of the golden
rules has really made an impression on her in a positive way and she often relates things at home/outside to what she has learnt at the nursery.

My daughter LOVES going to nursery. She is disappointed on weekends when she doesn't go! The staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful, and importantly, my daughter has a wonderful rapport with them. We moved our son from another nursery to Dandelions. He was unhappy at his previous nursery and we were concerned how he would settle. He was welcomed by all the staff and I can honestly say he absolutely loves it here.
He attends just 1 day per week and his personal development has come on in leaps
and bounds. He actually gets so excited when we tell him it's a nursery day.
A very clean, modern, well laid out nursery with lots of engaging staff that clearly love their jobs. I would most definitely recommend this nursery to anyone in the local area. Big shout out to his key worker, he adores her.

The team at Dandelions are friendly and great with the children, offering support and encouragement whilst teaching and playing. They hold special events to involve parents with the children’s learning experience and the weekly newsletter ensures parents are kept up to date with activities.
The facilities
are fantastic. There is plenty of room inside and out. The meals are made on-site and give the children a nice variety of foods.
I love that my daughter has the opportunity to spend time playing and learning outside in the large garden, playground and covered area. She thoroughly enjoys attending and wishes she could spend more time there!

Bright Horizons Dandelions Nursery and Preschool has been excellent for my child since beginning in Sept 19. He has loved the care and supervision. The staff have been friendly and extremely helpful to our needs. My child settled in very quickly having been at another nursery prior to starting here.
He has really developed and enjoys the fundamentals education. The garden is large and he particularly loves spending time in the garden with his new friends playing and learning about the environment. It is clear there is time for his creative side to flourish with many paintings and craft ideas being produced and brought home.
Well done to the lovely staff who have a whole team approach when supporting the children.

The team at Dandelions are well established. They genuinely care for the children. There is always a smile at the start and end of each day from them. Both my children have been at Dandelions and without reservation, I would recommend them to anyone. They set my eldest child up for school really well
and the second is being prepared now. Great team and environment, highly recommended.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Suzanne began her journey with Bright Horizons in 2012 as a Nursery Nurse, steadily advancing to a management position.


With a deep passion for Early Years education, there is a strong dedication to working with her team to provide an enabling environment for children to develop and grow. Loving her day-to-day job, Suzanne considers it an honour to watch children grow and develop under her care.


Suzanne has two children, a four-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son, who keep things lively and engaging. The family enjoys spending time together and going on fun outings, making the most of their time together.

Beth

Beth

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Beth has been passionate about Early Childhood Development since beginning her career in the nursery sector in 2015. Over the years, she has taken on a variety of roles, from Apprentice through to Regional Manager, gaining extensive experience across all age groups and in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND).


She is committed to providing the highest quality care and education for children and families, and believes this can only be achieved through a skilled and dedicated team. Supporting the professional development and continuous learning of her colleagues is something Beth values highly.


At nursery, Beth particularly enjoys spending time outdoors with the children. She recognises the importance of outdoor learning, whether it’s growing food, exploring physical movement, caring for nature, or creating imaginative ‘recipes’ in the mud kitchen. She is also passionate about the Future Earth programme, helping children to understand sustainability and how to look after the planet.


Outside of work, Beth enjoys hiking, going to gigs, and spending time with her family and her cat, Lily.

Isabelle

Isabelle

Job Title: Third in Charge

Isabelle is the Deputy Manager at Dandelions and has been with the nursery for over 13 years, working with children of all age groups. She is passionate about creating a safe and inspiring environment where children can grow, develop new skills, and explore the world around them.


In her role, Isabelle works closely with the team to provide high-quality care and education, supporting children’s milestones and fostering their confidence and curiosity.


Outside of work, Isabelle enjoys dance and kickboxing, as well as spending time with family and friends. She is dedicated to making each day a positive and enriching experience for the children and families at Dandelions.
