Little Explorers Day Nursery

The staff are so lovely and dedicated. My granddaughter is so happy here. She has learnt so much. I am always informed of what she has done and said and what she has had for lunch/tea etc.

Since she has been here, she has really developed well.

Really friendly staff. My daughter loves coming to nursery. She had made a huge progress since she started coming to nursery.

My son has been attending this nursery for the last 2.5 years and loves it here. He started in the baby room and is now in the preschool group in the bigger room. The staff are excellent, as is the nursery owner who is always looking at ways that the nursery can improve and make the experience more enjoyable for the children. The food that the children eat is very impressive and I'm often jealous when I hear what he has eaten. The nursery is quite spacious compared to others and has a great outside play area too.

Little Explorers day nursery staff have been fantastic with my daughter who has been attending for almost a year. I am more than happy with my daughter's progress and cannot thank the staff from both rooms enough. Having had a rocky start to nursery life in another nursery, moving to Little Explorers was the best decision we made. I have nothing but praise for this nursery and will continue to spread the word about the nursery and the staff.

My son has attended this nursery for nearly a year now and the staff have been great. They have ensured that my son feels settled and secure in their setting and provide a high level of care. Staff provide excellent learning opportunities for the children and continue to encourage development. The online learning journal is fantastic and allows me to contribute aswell as the nursery staff. All staff are friendly and welcoming and very approachable. I struggle to get my son out of nursery which shows how much he enjoys it!

As a first time mother I was very nervous leaving my little girl, however, the staff at Little Explorers made this transition very easy. The staff are very caring and loving, always greet you with a smile. I would recommend this nursery, my daughter loves it!

We could not be more happy with the care, support and learning experiences provided by the manager and the team at Little Explorers. Communication is excellent, with daily reports, an online learning journal and daily conversations with staff. The staff are caring and friendly and our son quickly formed relationships and feels secure and happy in the environment. As a relatively new nursery, Little Explorers make a huge effort to continuously improve and adapt the learning environment; there are always new resources and activities appearing. They take the children outdoors whenever possible and have a wonderful garden space with play equipment. They are very aware of each child's individual needs and have communicated closely with us to support our son's progression.

It was with real apprehension that I started the process of looking for a nursery for my daughter. Having viewed a handful locally, Little Explorers was my clear favourite. They were brilliant at putting both my daughter and I at ease as she went through the settling in process and were very sensitive to my worry at leaving her in the hands of a third party (albeit a very well qualified one). Since then, we haven't looked back. She's been at Little Explorers for 7/8 months now and clearly loves it. The staff are enthusiastic, seem to really enjoy interacting with the children and genuinely care about them. It is also very well equipped and they make a lot of effort with activities etc. For her part, our daughter (who is now 18 months old) will nod her head when asked in the morning if she wishes to go to nursery, will gleefully ring the doorbell herself on arrival and then happily wave me goodbye as she toddles off for breakfast. She loves it; as do we. Would recommend it to everyone.

We have been sending our eldest son to Little Explorers since November 2015 and we have already registered our new baby son to start attending next year.

This is a truly wonderful nursery. It's a family run business and that family feeling can be felt when you walk into the nursery. The staff are so kind and friendly, they genuinely care about each and every child. They are supportive and go out of their way for the children and the parents.

Little Explorers does all the things you expect a nursery to do but they do it with such love and care that it feels home from home.

My daughter started this month. As all parents we were nervous and anxious. The staff and manager did all they could to settle our daughter in and to put us at ease and it was paramount to how she has settled well.

They provide an excellent level of care and encouragement in all areas.

The online updates just add to your ease at sending your child to be in the care of someone else.

I am more than impressed.

Brilliant nursery, my daughter absolutely loves going. She asks daily if she can go to nursery and knows all the names of the staff. They are very informative at the nursery and answer all questions you have. I love the tapestry they have and they are very good at keeping you up to date with pictures and observations, honestly couldn't rate the nursery any better and would recommend all friends and family!
