Little Explorers Day Nursery

I would highly recommend Little Explorers! Thank you for all you've done to look after my daughter.

Excellent nursery, my elder son attended from the age of two and a half to four and a half years of age now my younger son is there. Staff are great, good communication with parents and the children love it. The activities the children undertake are very good, especially that the children get to play outside daily.

Our daughter has used this Nursery for the last 2 months and the difference in her development is amazing. We get regular updates and pictures to see what our Daughter has been doing on a daily basis where we previously didn't get this from a previous childcare provider. All the staff there are very hands-on and approachable and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who has doubts about putting their child into a Nursery.

The nursery provides fresh food with a great variety. There are nice play areas outdoors and plenty of parking. There are nice events being organised such as a visit to the zoo, mother's and father's day parties, photographer sessions, and baking sessions. Children are encouraged to play with simple toys and read books. They are given opportunities to look after younger ones. Overall, we are pleased that there is such a great nursery in our area, which is also reasonably priced! Many thanks to all the staff.

My daughter is very excited every morning to go to the nursery. She does not speak English but every day she comes back home having enjoyed her day! It is a great pleasure for us to know she is well!

Our daughter has now been attending Little Explorers Day Nursery for 6 months and absolutely loves it. The baby room is calm and nurturing and now she is with the toddlers she continues to develop and grow each day. The staff are so friendly and always have time to discuss how the children are doing during drop off and collection time as well as keeping you updated using the baby days app and Tapestry. Our daughter loves attending nursery and we can tell she is learning so much. Thank you Little Explorers for taking such wonderful care of our little girl.

My husband and I could not be happier with Little Explorers Day Nursery. Our daughter is so happy and loves going in each morning and talks about the staff and the wonderful activities she does each day. Her communication skills have developed so much since she has started and they have supported us so much to wean our daughter from her dummy and even potty train her! We receive regular updates each day via the app so know exactly what's going on throughout the day. The support we have had is great and we are so thankful.

Where do I even start with how fantastic this nursery is? My son has been attending since he was 12 months old and the care he has had could not be better. All staff are so polite and kind. The nursery itself is always clean and has great facilities with lots of indoor and outdoor space. The variety of food he eats is perfect, great choice. All staff are excellent at their jobs and my son has had two key workers who I just think are both the most lovely girls who put in so much effort with my boy and keep him on track with his learning. Also, a big thing for me is how good the communication is, I always know everything I need to. Thank you Little Explorers Day Nursery!

A fabulous nursery! It has such a lovely ethos and the curiosity approach is great. Our daughter has developed confidence since joining and has been extremely happy to go. The staff are all very caring and friendly. The staff have continued to adapt during these difficult times and kept parents informed throughout. I would highly recommend it.

My daughter is really happy at nursery and has come along so much since being there. She sings loads of songs to me which she’s learnt. She started nursery the first term after turning 3 and still showed no interest in using the potty/toilet. The team fully supported us and encouraged her every day and she picked it up within a couple of weeks. I had a phone call and update at the last parents evening and it was informative and comprehensive, something I wasn’t expecting and was great to receive. I love the Baby Days and Tapestry apps as the team updates on what my daughter has done and eaten in the days so we can talk about this at home. I would highly recommend. All the workers are friendly and polite and have a smile on their faces every day.

My daughter attends nursery just one day a week, I had reservations about how well she would settle with the gap between sessions but thanks to the staff she has settled in perfectly and is already learning so much! The staff make her feel welcome and greet us enthusiastically. At collection time staff are informative about how the day has gone, and what my daughter has done well or enjoyed. It’s a pleasure to send her to Little Explorers Nursery!

My eldest son started the nursery at 4 months old and my youngest at 8 weeks old. The staff are brilliant and I’ve never thought twice about leaving them in their care. Very happy with all areas of the nursery and will keep my boys there till they start school.

My son loves it here. Started at 10 months old and now over 2. He runs in and doesn’t even look back to say goodbye! I have just started to send my 8 month old who is also happy throughout the day. I am kept undated on what they do in the day, what they have eaten and their naps.

Little Explorers Day Nursery is fantastic. My son has been there since he was 7 months old and is now in Little Explorers preschool. My son has built wonderful relationships with all of the staff at the nursery; not just his key workers - very cliche but it really is like a family. Fantastic staff, brilliant facilities and they provide wonderful opportunities for the children - walks to the local library, walks to the park, music classes etc. I am so pleased we chose Little Explorers for our son - we will be so sad when he leaves to go to school this summer.

My twin daughters attend Little Explorers Nursery. I feel happy with the service they provide, the staff are really friendly, the children are always well-fed and I feel at ease going to work knowing they are well looked after. I also get updates of any activities the girls are doing throughout the day, it's like I've never really left them. During the covid lockdown, the nursery have ensured that all safety measures are in place to help keep our little one safe. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Little Explorers have, most importantly, the children’s interest at heart. Activities planned are to engage and develop them, regular changes to the food timetable are to ensure they eat a balanced, healthy and interesting diet and key workers are there to firstly support their emotional well being. My son has always been happy at this nursery and formed strong bonds with many of his key workers as he’s moved from room to room. Not only that, his development, learning and understanding of the world, have benefited greatly. There are so many skills and stages that he was ready for that I, as a first-time parent, had believed he too young. Steps like eating independently, getting changed independently we’re all steps encouraged by Little Explorers. Lastly, the family management team really look out for you and have supported me greatly the last two and a half years. They are both flexible, accommodating and compassionate.

I cannot tell you how happy it makes us feel to see how happy our son is at Little Explorers - he regularly tells us about his friends and the staff (as his friends!) and what he gets up to. It has been so wonderful to see him settle in so quickly after having to change nursery when I got a new job. A huge thank you to all of the staff - nothing is ever too much and they all show so much care and compassion. We are so glad he will be able to stay for your new Pre-school too.

This is the best nursery their level of care and communication they have is the best I have seen. If I am to rate them, I would give the 200%.
