Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Catford is a purpose-designed facility, ideal for imaginative play and fitted with modern security equipment.

Roof gardens have been carefully planned in order to make the most of each child's ability for natural learning, while the friendly and professional team look to involve parents in their child's progress as much as possible.

As well as supporting established early years goals there are numerous extra curricular activities, including French language learning, interactive storytelling and a Stretch-n-Grow programme.

I viewed seven nurseries in the area, and Monkey Puzzle was by far the best! My daughter started at 12 months and settled into the baby room really well, despite never being away from me for long periods. Going back to work was very daunting but knowing she was in safe hands and being cared for by the
amazing staff made it so much easier. Really pleased with the nursery and feel confident my daughter is well cared for.

Honestly, one of the best nurseries I've seen. Very well organised and structured. The staff are very friendly and compassionate. You can tell they genuinely care about your child's development. They also provide fresh food cooked on-site by their chef and always accommodate dietary requirements. They
cook a variety of food, so you know your child is getting good nutrition. They also have very well-kept rooms, with variations of toys and play areas which are all good quality and cleaned daily. They have a very good daily structure too which I love, so your child has a routine that assists with developments and not just random play all day like other nurseries. Lastly, the staff are so experienced and skilled which is evident by my child's development at nursery and also my favourite is the detailed report you get at the end of each day which tells you everything your child has done so you are well informed. Would honestly recommend it to all parents.

Both my children attend the nursery full time and they receive fantastic care. The staff show genuine interest and fondness for the children and offer helpful advice. My son absolutely loves Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Catford. He has been in the Tweenies room since the beginning (just under a year) and the team is fantastic. He has learned so much and has created strong bonds with the staff. I love the fact that his bi-nationality is celebrated and that the team ensure
he has access to French books, songs and use French words around him. I would recommend this nursery over and over as they are so caring and have a very good curriculum.

We have been totally thrilled with Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Catford since our daughter started there in 2020. In her time in the baby room, Tweenies and Toddler room we have always felt totally confident and assured that she is receiving the best possible care from the staff at Monkey Puzzle. She loves

Monkey Puzzle Catford has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As soon as you walk through the door, you are always met with smiles and enthusiasm. Every member of staff greets my son by name whether they work closely with him or not.
My son looks forward to going to nursery, which gives me peace
of mind when I drop him off in the morning. Over the past three years he has attended Monkey Puzzle, starting as a baby until now as a preschooler. During this time, I have been impressed with how different age groups are catered for and how hard the staff work to make sure the children have a stimulating environment and enjoyable experiences.
His younger brother will be starting soon and I am thrilled that he will be cared for by staff that looked after my eldest because I know he will be in the best care.

Our little boy is now 3.5 and has been at Monkey Puzzle since he was 1 year old and has progressed from the baby room to the pre-school room. He has always loved going and is very happy at Monkey Puzzle and we think that this has really helped with toilet training and meeting other milestones with no
issues at all. We love reading what he has been up to during the day and the activities he has done and find handovers very useful. The variety of food is great too and we would absolutely recommend Monkey Puzzle to anyone thinking of sending their child there. We have number 2 on the way and he will also be attending! The staff have always been friendly and welcoming and we think the communications have also been very good from management too, especially during a difficult year with the global pandemic. Thank you to everyone at Monkey Puzzle.

Nursery is the highlight of my little boys week. He has been there for almost two years and absolutely loves it. The atmosphere is so energetic and positive, the staff are incredibly welcoming, thoughtful and sensitive. They always go out of their way to meet his personal needs in all aspects of his

What can I say, I knew Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Catford was the nursery for us from our very first viewing. Starting in the baby room, now four years these guys have been instrumental in the development of my child. Great facilities, engaging toys and games and very involved staff, can’t rate it enough.

They genuinely care and doesn't give you the "cash-transaction" feeling that many other nurseries do.
Ample garden space, mud kitchen, activity frames and even a pedal-kart track!
Equally as much stimulation inside too.
Nutritious selection of hot foods served.
Would recommend it to all locals.

I have been with the nursery for more than five years, my oldest who is now at school absolutely thrived during his time there. The preschool room equipped him so very well for school from both a social and educational perspective. My youngest is still at Monkey Puzzle and loves it. They were so accommodating
and supportive during the pandemic, keeping parents updated and listening to their views on operating procedures always with the interests of children at the forefront. All the staff in all of the rooms without exception are amazing and the management team are particularly strong. I would, without hesitation, recommend Monkey Puzzle - it's a brilliant nursery.

My son has been at Monkey Puzzle in Catford for just over 2 years and after attending a couple of disastrous nurseries prior, I can honestly say that the team here have restored my faith in paid childcare. From his first days, the staff in the tweenies room showed him such genuine care and affection,
it set us all at ease. My son's development has been consistent and he is happy! Moving through the rooms, I've always panicked but the staff continue to be engaged and supportive- the staff in toddlers and in preschool. The acting nursery manager is also fantastic showing a genuine interest in your child and is really approachable.

The staff are brilliant! Our child is twenty one months and has been coming here since she was fourteen months old and we've noticed lots of positive developments in her language and activities. The staff who work in the tweenies room are so warm, loving, professional and sensitive. Very happy.

Both my daughters attend Monkey Puzzle, one in the baby room and one in the toddler room, and we love it! It's never easy leaving them, but I always feel confident and reassured that my kids are safe, well cared for, and very happy. When my firstborn started at nursery I found it a very emotional time,
and the management team and room staff took time and care to not only ensure that my child settled in, but also to take care of my wellbeing during the process.
The professional staff are extremely patient, kind, and always willing to care for my girls according to their individual needs as they develop. No matter how busy they always take the time to talk to me about how they are doing, listen to the information I need them to know, and reassure me when necessary. I am often greeted with artwork to take home on pick up, which my eldest daughter loves to hang up at home, and the daily handover is clear and comprehensive. Overall a happy, nurturing and stimulating environment.

Two of my children attended Monkey puzzle, one in the preschool room and the other in the baby room. The care provided to my children was excellent; staff and management don’t just look after children, they truly care for them.
As you enter the nursery, staff are friendly and helpful, there’s a sense
of calmness and joy. Management is excellent, whenever I approached Maria or Deborah they were always well informed about my children’s needs.
It’s clear that staff are happy at work, this is seen by the way they care for children and communicate with parents.
My children ’s individual needs were always met, both staff and management showed great concern for their wellbeing.
My children loved Monkey Puzzle, one of them is now at school and she regularly talks about Monkey Puzzle. My older child benefitted a lot from the activities they had in preparation for school.


We moved to Kent in November and had to find childcare near our home.


I highly recommend Monkey Puzzle nursery.

We have been so delighted with Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Catford ever since our daughter started at 14 months in may 2018. The staff have consistently been faultless: friendly, bubbly, enthusiastic and positive, making it a really fun, enjoyable environment. The children are clearly stimulated with
lots of different activities, messy play and outdoor time and are always happy. Our daughter has made great progress with her development and most importantly loves being at nursery. Couldn’t fault it at all!
