Kids Planet Litherland, formerly Wendy House Day Nursery, is an outstanding and Udeskole accredited nursery located in the Litherland in Sefton, Merseyside

Kids Planet has been operating for over 20 years on the Wirral and has an excellent reputation in the local community providing first-class early years education for children from birth to five years old.

Healthy and nutritious meals are prepared for the children each day.

Everyone of the staff in this nursery are gorgeous. They really do care and look after the children brilliantly. Management are brilliant and also appear to really treat their staff lovely.

My daughter is in her last year at Kids Planet, she started at just 8 months old, she absolutely loves her days at nursery, as they are filled with learning and wonderful activities, she knows every staff member and feels safe and secure. From a parents point of view I can't recommend this nursery enough,
all staff are extremely approachable and have been happy to help with any additional requests from me. For example, I asked my daughter's keyworker if they wouldn't mind mentioning it's important to hold mummy's hand crossing the road, later that day I received photo updates of a mock zebra crossing with details of how my daughter had been learning about road safety! This is just one example of how supportive the staff are at Kids Planet.

My son has a wonderful time at nursery. He loves going and it was a godsend in December especially opening on Christmas Eve, as parents, we always have last-minute running round to do I highly recommend this nursery.

Fantastic nursery with an equally brilliant team of staff. My little girl has attended Kids Planet Litherland for almost 15 months now and she has come on so much more than I could have imagined. Communication within the nursery is brilliant as well as catering for my daughter's allergy needs. I have
recommended this nursery to a number of people - some of whom have since joined the nursery - and the reviews I’ve heard are all positive. My little girl loves not only her key worker, but the other key workers in her room and I can honestly say that every one of them cares so much for the children.

My son has been at this nursery since July and I couldn’t fault it at all. He had a hard time parting from me and got quite upset when he first started but the staff were amazing with him and he’s now settled really well. He’s come on a lot in such a small period of time and he loves going in now. They
update me on how he’s doing throughout the day and send pictures which I love! Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you so much.

My daughter has been in the nursery from the baby room aged 8 months old and is currently in the nursery room. She is very happy here and loves coming to school as she calls it.
The nursery always have new and exciting activities for the children to do. And have plenty of outdoor play which my daughter
loves.
They always have events on for parents to join in, and events for the likes of Christmas and Halloween.
You can always speak to the child’s key worker and have parents evenings through the year so you know how your child is developing. The nursery is always very clean and it was the open door policy that attracted me to viewing.

My little girl has attended the nursery for just over a year. I feel really comfortable when dropping her off, she has developed positive relationships with all staff and skips in every morning! I receive updates throughout the day via the app, it's lovely to see what she is getting up to and useful

My son has been attending Kids Planet Litherland since July 2020 as we had to move from a childminder due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The nursery have done a fantastic job in settling our son in, he runs in every morning and is always eager to find out what he will be doing in pre-school. The staff are
very approachable and do a fantastic job of caring for the children. I love the updates I receive from the app whilst I am at work. I would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.

My daughter loves this nursery. She started preschool in September and skips in to every session. It’s been tough for me not being able to see anything she is doing when we pick up due to covid measures which is completely understandable, but 2 weeks ago when her key worker brought her out to me, we
got in the car and she said without prompt ‘she’s so kind to me!’ And I knew then that we had found the right nursery!

I'm really pleased with this nursery for my little girl. Staff members and manager have supported both of us with the settling in process and my little girl has bonded with the staff and is really enjoying her nursery days! I love that they update me during each nursery day with how she's doing and
some photographs of her as well as a handover at the end of the day. The setting itself is wonderful, especially the outdoor area!

The girls in the tots room are fab! They look after my little girl as if she was their own, they always greet us all with a smile and genuinely care for my daughter. The meals are varied and the girls always support you with any challenges or issues you have with your little one.
The nursery as a whole
is always spotless and has gorgeous displays and there is so much attention to detail with information displayed to umbrellas provided on rainy days whilst you're waiting to drop off or collect.
My child is so happy at Kids Planet Litherland and I couldn't recommend it more!

We couldn’t be happier with Kids Planet and the care, attention and love they provide our child while they are in attendance.
It’s fantastic to see that while there is a clear plan of activities each day, the teachers listen to and incorporate the children’s interests into the tasks.
Communication
through the kids zone app is great too, it’s lovely receiving little snippets of our son’s day so we can talk to him about it in the evening.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Alexandra Cullen has over 10 years of experience in childcare to her role as Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Litherland. She holds a BA (Hons) in Education with Early Childhood and has developed a strong foundation in all aspects of early years education.
Alexandra has a wealth of expertise in key areas including Early Years development, Safeguarding, Special Educational Needs (SEN), and Mental Health First Aid. Her passion for nurturing young minds and her commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment ensures that every child in her care is supported to thrive.
