Daisy Fays Nursery Carnon Downs

My daughter loves going to Daisy Fays Nursery Carnon Downs. She is always learning new things and the staff are brilliant at thinking of different ways for the children to learn, inside and outside.

This was the first nursery we viewed for our 2 year old son and knew immediately that it was perfect. The staff are so caring, professional and genuinely adore all of the children they look after which you can tell when picking up / dropping off. It’s lovely to know what they’ve done each day and to pick up a very happy child at the end of a busy fun filled day. We’ve noticed such amazing leaps in our son from going to Carnon Downs. Well done to the team you are all amazing!

Our little boy has been going to Daisy Fays in Carnon Downs for 9 months. The staff have always been super lovely, friendly and our son's key worker is so attentive and always provides us with lots of information about what our son has done that day and how he’s getting on. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Daisy Fays!

Both of our children have enjoyed their time at Daisy Fays Nursery and always leave with a big smile on their faces, even though when you ask them what they got up to they usually say nothing but with the updates we get via email from the nursery we soon learn what they have been up to, the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this nursery very highly. Keep up the good work guys.

We love Daisy Fays! My little one has thrived under the care of the team in Carnon Downs. Lovely setting and friendly and approachable staff. The range of activities are varied and fun and we love that the children spend lots of time outside.

My daughter attended Daisy Fays Carnon Downs from the age of 8 months until she left for school and still asks to go back now to see her friends (the staff!). My son also started at 8 months and has been loving it as much as my daughter did, he’s now 21 months, and the positive input the staff have on his behaviour, learning and social skills are amazing. It is obvious that the environment is friendly, calming, caring and encouraging. I have absolute faith in the staff and could not ask for more. To specifically touch upon the challenges put upon them over the last year, it is clear the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that yes the required measures are in place so that the children are safe but just as importantly, their nursery experience is not being negatively impacted, for that I can’t thank them enough.

I found all the staff extremely friendly and approachable. My son has become a lot more confident since attending nursery. He looks forward to attending and I put that down to the wonderful staff and environment he is in.

Our children have been at Daisy Fays for over two years now and we are absolutely delighted with the nursery. Our children love going to nursery and are thriving there. The team are fantastic- accommodating and really care about the children. The activities are varied and engaging.

The best nursery in Cornwall. Our child has been going to Daisy Fays for a year now and she is so happy. Her caseworker is unbelievable and our daughter loves him. The staff are of the highest standard and run an excellent nursery to the very highest standards, 10 out of 10 in my opinion.

The nursery has been excellent for our child. He started quite young and settled very quickly. His development while attending has been incredible and the team at the nursery have played a huge part in that. I would recommend the nursery to any parents and he loves attending. The staff are approachable and understanding of children's needs.

Our son has been with Daisy Fay's since he was under a year old. He has been with the Carnon Downs team since August last year and I wouldn't dream of moving him to another establishment. The fact that he is excited to go in the morning and full of wonderful stories of his day when I pick him up is testament to the hard work that everyone at the nursery puts in. Not only do the children learn through having fun, but the care they receive is exceptional. I have never had any concerns with the way they look after our son (and trust me I am quite opinionated on that matter). It isn't easy going back to work after having a baby but Daisy Fay's make it much much easier. Thank you to the owner and your great team.

I feel confident and happy leaving them at the nursery, which is essential when dashing off to work. I know they will be stimulated through play and learning, encouraged to try new things, and prepared for the next step of primary school when the time comes.

Our granddaughter has been attending Daisy Fays for about 3 years. This September she will start school. During her time at Daisy Fays, we have seen her blossom into a confident and emotionally secure little girl. The staff have always been encouraging and engaging, meeting us each day with a warm smile and a friendly hello. Our granddaughter loves going and has always wanted to get into the car in the mornings. We have especially been impressed with the development of social and emotional skills as we feel if a child is emotionally robust and makes friends easily they will learn well. The nursery has shown great flexibility within reason, as sometimes changes need to be made. The always done their best to accommodate these changes where possible. The facilities, equipment and outdoor space have been excellent with many new things to develop imagination. Daisy Fays has shown a high level of safety and safeguarding and reporting home about scrapes and bumps has been attended to very well. We would highly recommend Daisy Fays and are sad that our granddaughter is going to leave this happy place where she has flourished so well.

Our son has been coming to Daisy Fays Nursery Carnon Downs for about 16 months and absolutely loves going to nursery. The changes that have been put in place recently and the refurbishment have been amazing and you can see how much the staff care for all the children. As parents, we feel that all the staff really know our son and have taken the time to work out what he likes and doesn't like doing, celebrating his achievements with him (and us) and supporting him fantastically when things get a bit tricky. The food and snacks are fantastic and his favourite part of the week is when the sports coach comes in. What a great additional activity to have! Any minor concerns or questions that we have had have been dealt with quickly and appropriately by the management team who are all lovely and very approachable. Our son has grown so much in confidence since starting there and loves all the staff, especially his key worker. We will be so sad to leave in August when he moves to school.

Our daughter has recently joined Daisy Fays and we are overwhelmed with the quality of care she has received. The staff have made an exceptional effort to really get to know her, her preferences and personality. We were also reassured at the compassion the staff have in making a secure relationship with our daughter. Being a weaning baby, her needs have really been catered for and she has the opportunities to explore new foods. She is offered so many experiences that she wouldn't get at home. Our daughter goes into Daisy Fays smiling everyday and we love hearing about what fun and learning she has been doing when we collect her.

In March, due to relocation, I moved my child from another Daisy Fays nursery to Daisy Fays Carnon Downs. I was made up with the similarities between the nurseries and the staff. The nursery has been refurbished in the last few months and is fresh, clean, bright and so much going on. I felt terrible uprooting my boy as he was so happy with the amazing team at his previous nursery, but he settled so quickly with the team at Carnon.

They are so friendly and welcoming. He is not only happy but learning lots and his confidence is growing daily. I also feel comfortable talking to the team about anything I need to regarding my boys care and am always met with polite informative answers. Thank you, girls, at both nurseries, a credit to Daisy Fays group.

My daughter has been going to Daisy Fays for 7 months now and within weeks, had settled in really well and formed bonds with colleagues. The staff have always been very supportive and made an effort to understand my parent anxieties, my daughter's needs. My daughter has developed hugely since attending the nursery and always grins and waves at the staff. We recently needed to change my daughter's diet and the staff were again very supportive and helpful with that change. They’re very understanding and flexible. We would definitely recommend.
