The Nuffy Bear Day Nursery provides first class full day care, sessional care and pre-school and caters for children aged between three months and five years. It offers three fully equipped nursery rooms plus a dedicated team of qualified staff who aim to make healthy eating and regular exercise a part of every child's life.

As Nuffy Bear is part of Nuffield Health, predominately a hospital and wellbeing company, the nursery is truly committed to ensuring every child's healthy development. Nuffield Health nutritionists have produced a nutritious menu that provides all the elements to develop a healthy body.

The nursery provides baby massage classes for the under ones, yoga for the over ones, and swimming for the over threes. All these classes are included in the nursery fee. Free childcare (funding) sessions are available at this nursery.

The nursery day can be split into a morning session from 8am to 1pm, afternoon session from 1pm to 6 pm and a full day session from 8am to 6pm. They offer an early drop off session 07:30 - 08:00 and a late pick up session 18:00 - 18.30.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Nuffy Bear! She is confident and happy, and I am confident that she is well looked after. The staff really go the extra mile to make my daughter's day special and challenge her ever-growing mind. Nuffy Bear is a lovely nursery.

Both my son and daughter attend Nuffy Bears, they love it. They have come on leaps and bounds. They talk about their days regularly and always come out happy.
Both myself and my partner are key workers and were so glad to have had the support of Nuffy’s!
- Due to the area in which I work we were
given free childcare during the first lockdown, which helped us immeasurably.
We are so overwhelmingly grateful to all the staff there who look after our babies with care, compassion and with a smile, despite being in the midst of a pandemic!

I have found the nursery manager to be really helpful and supportive with flexibility in changing days and hours to match my shifts as a nurse. The girls who look after my daughter and always kind and caring and happy to help.

Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Gloucester is just wonderful! The staff are amazing; they are qualified, caring, engaged and committed to the children they are responsible for. Our son has been with them from 6 months old and is now 2 and a half years old - and he just loves it there. He has learned so much
and this is a testament to the effort the team put in.
My review is that Nuffy Bear Gloucester is excellent in all areas; but a ‘good’ for outdoor space, which they are limited to - but have done the best with what they have and I know the children do love to play outside there.

My son's been attending Nuffy Bear Nursery since he was 3-months-old and it’s very clear to see how much he enjoys it. Seeing how he has developed and learned within the nursery is amazing to see. All the staff are fantastic, and my son has a great bond with them all. He is always happy at drop-off
and pick-up, and I know that he is having fun from start to finish. He always has a wide variety of foods, which I am always made aware of. The nursery helps with his learning and development even from a young age. He is so confident with people and other children, and Nuffy Bear Nursery is to thank with this. Fantastic place and would highly recommend.

Both my daughter and my son attend the nursery and both love it there. The staff are lovely and always happy to attend to all my children’s needs and they have both built special bonds with them!

My little boy loves coming to nursery, he has made some really good friends with the other children and some lovely bonds with all of the staff. They do some great activities which he enjoys, he loves joining in with any messy activities.

Such a friendly and welcoming nursery. All staff go out their way to help the children settle in. I feel I have been supported by all the staff when I felt my child was being difficult. The nursery offers great opportunities for the children to develop and its a great peace of mind knowing my child

I chose Nuffy Bear nursery because of how much it values encouraging individuality and a child's ability to discover the world in their own way.


I have been more than impressed with my child's development both socially and practically, the activities that are organised, the feedback provided to myself

as a parent and the consistency between my child and their key worker.


There is also an interest in the child's development, lifestyle, routine and activities outside of nursery which encourages a more fluid approach between nursery and home.

My son loves going to nursery. He recently had his birthday and the nursery were very accommodating, allowing me to take in a cake and a few games making it feel like a party to my son. He gets on very well with the other children and the staff as they are all so friendly and professional.

Nuffy Bear, Gloucester is a very friendly place and environment.
We have been very happy with their approach to childcare, the benefits on offer and flexibility on sessions and bookings.


A good bunch of staff and children have a huge access of opportunities.


It's a great feeling knowing that

my child is very happy in his environment at Nursery. He is becoming a confident little man. The team at Nuffy Gloucester really know the children as individuals.

Nuffy Bear was a new nursery when our daughter started, there were a few teething problems. But now it is fantastic. My favourite thing is now they treat the children as individuals not 'clients'. They are also very chilled about chopping and changing hours never a quibble. My daughter loves going there,

The nursery has a great set up for all the ages of children it accommodates. Lots of new and current equipment and toys for the children to interact with.

Nuffy Bear's is a wonderful place with staff who care for the children's every need.
The facilities are brilliant.

Excellent environment, fresh and stimulating. Happy, helpful, accommodating staff. Nothing is to much trouble for the parent or the child. My son enjoys his time at the nursery and has lovely relationships with nursery staff. Reasonably priced. Excellent standard of service all round.
