LEYF - Pembury Nursery & Pre-School

Both my children have gone to Pembury. I am sure we could have paid more for a nursery but I don't believe they could have had any more love and attention. All of the staff have been fantastic and the children seem to have a great time, the atmosphere is great. We have also become friends with other parents which has been an unexpected bonus. I would recommend it to anyone, and big thanks to the manager and another member of staff in particular who manage it all so well.

Our son has started in the baby room and the team has gone above and beyond to make sure he settled well and quickly. He’s now really enjoying his time at nursery. We get detailed feedback every day on his progress. The manager is also always available if we need to have more information.

Friendly, caring attentive and kind staff throughout the nursery - our son has been very well looked after and enjoys his time there. Well run and organised with a range of activities for the children.

The teachers go above and beyond. Whereas every day could be similar, merely recycling the same toys and safe learning space, they schedule a wide variety of activities inside and outside the nursery which clearly require immense care and planning. This environment has enabled my son to cultivate his first relationships separate from us. These relationships are a massive source of love and excitement in his life.

Generally very pleased with the care my son has been given at Pembury. The staff are lovely, warm and friendly and I feel like my son is being cared for well. The app is really helpful and it’s reassuring to get the updates and pictures to find out what my son has been getting up to. However, there are often days when the only notification is a nappy change - it’s really useful to know nap times and what he’s eaten throughout the day. Although the team do always make time to provide updates at the end of the day if asked. The events that you run are a really lovely touch - the team obviously puts a lot of effort into arranging things like sports days and they are a great way to connect with other parents at the nursery and to get to know staff members better. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

The building offers the best conditions to promote my child’s development (spacious room, very high cleaning standards, healthy and diversified food and a harmonious environment among all the nursery members).

I love Pembury Nursery for my daughter, they have been very warm, welcoming, understanding and encouraging in anything that my daughter may need. They take their time to help her reach goals and targets and she has improved her eating, social interactions, speech and day-to-day duties by being at the Pembury Nursery and having one-on-one time to help her achieve her milestones. Just seeing her transition has made me have positive faith that the nursery has great teachers and is also a great setting to be in.

My son has recently joined the nursery and l must say that he has settled in really well with the help from the staff. The staff are outstanding and approachable. My son is always happy and looking forward to the next day at the nursery as there are loads of different activities provided and not to forget that they are well organised therefore would highly recommend.

Very friendly, fun and welcoming place with lovely people. Staff always make time to tell us about our daughter's day. Our daughter's confidence and speech has developed really well since she joined and we always feel confident she eats really well here.

Wonderfully nurturing nursery that treats every child as an individual, with very well-trained staff. The place is full of joy and I trust them 100%.

I feel that not only my child but my whole family is loved and welcome there and I’d recommend the place to anyone.

I couldn’t wish for a more lovely nursey for my son! It was a last-minute decision to come to Pembury Nursery but as soon as I walked in you could feel the care that each of the babies and children receive and the consideration that goes into making each day fun, relaxing, and engaging.

Brilliant staff and lovely community of parents and kids. Our son is well cared for and looked after at Pembury and is really happy there. We’d recommend it to other parents who were after a safe, fun and inclusive environment.

Wonderful nursery. My son has been there for nearly a year in both the baby and toddler room. The team are great. Warm, enthusiastic, caring and engaged - everything you would want. There are creative activities every day, great food and fun trips. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

My daughter is flourishing at the Pembury Community Nursery. She has come on leaps and bounds and has grown hugely in confidence since joining the baby room. The staff are so kind and nurturing and we couldn't be happier with our choice of childcare. It is truly a home away from home!

I'm really impressed by the work done by Pembury's staff. They are caring and warm. They're there when it's needed but they are also teaching them to become more independent. They organise and rotate activities so the children keep discovering and learning. Every day, my son comes home with new words he has learned, new stories he has heard, new topics he has discovered. The nursery also has an outdoor area, which is widely used when weather permits. My son has been at the nursery since he was four months old and it's like his second home.

Nursery is satisfactory. Staff is friendly but changes very often. Room with toddlers and preschoolers is busy and garden fairly small. Clothes tend to go missing regularly. Management of the nursery is friendly. Value for money not so much but nurseries are expensive in London. Nursery could do more trips with kids. Cleanliness is ok but the nursery has gone through a number of outbreaks of disease which I guess is not uncommon. At the end of the day my son seems happy there.

Last year was quite unsettling for my daughter because of the staff shortages, lots of changing agency staff and changes in management but I'm pleased to say that these challenges seem to have been overcome and it all seems to have stabilised now. Thank you to all the amazing staff for looking after my daughter so well.

Wonderful nursery, caring staff and the kids have a fantastic time. Great focus on their development and genuinely feels like a lovely community of people.

Lovely, caring and creative staff and management team. The outdoor area could be bigger/greener but kids seem to like it!
