The Nursery is in Lower Clapton, close to Hackney Downs and Hackney Central stations. It's a light and roomy nursery with two gardens – one for under 2s, and one for pre-schoolers.
The Nursery has great links to the wider community and many staff live locally. There are lots of activities to try… learning Spanish, cooking, construction, growing fruit and veg, and more! The children love to get out and about too, enjoying outings to the local shops and library. Families can also join in the fun with regular ‘Stay and Play’ sessions.
A dedicated chef provides all meals using recipes from LEYF’s menu.
Half-day sessions are available for children over 3 years old.

All fees listed include the cost of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
One-off extra days cost £112 for children under 3 years old and £112 for children over 3 years old.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee: A fee of £100 is payable upon acceptance of an offer. In addition, a deposit equal to 50% of the monthly fee is payable upon acceptance of an offer.
Late Collection Charge: £30 per 15 minutes, or part thereof.
Late Payment Charge: £30 for late payment of monthly fees and/or interest at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate on any fees that remain unpaid on the 2nd day of the month.
Overpayment Return Administration Fee: £30 per overpayment.
Mid-Week Surcharge: A 6% surcharge applies to mid-week bookings (bookings that do not include a Monday or a Friday).

My daughter transferred from another nursery to Pembury Nursey and am extremely happy with the move as it is can be difficult with change at such a young age however the transition was really good. Lots of communication with Pembury with how my daughter was settling in and now she is so happy and can't wait to attend Pembury nursery every day even on her off day. Happy child, happy parent. All the staff members and management team have a passion for their work, are nurturing and supportive of the children's individual needs. Big thank you to the new manager for stepping up after another the old manager left. Would recommend Pembury nursery to family and friends.

I like the space of this nursery that allows kids to get in and out of the garden and engage in several play areas, as they wish. Also happy that the meals are cooked on the premises in a fully equipped kitchen. The management and other staff have been extremely caring, conscious and generous. They have supported our 2-year-old after returning to the nursery, post-recovery from a serious illness, with unexpected sensitivity and care and we are grateful to them.
After re-settling in, our son seems happy and engaged with all the activities taking place around him. We always find him engaged in some task and there is limited, or no screen time but a lot of messy play, which we like a lot.

The nursery workers seem happy which creates a calm, nurturing atmosphere for the kids (this was a problem at our last nursery). Both boys love being there and I have peace of mind that they’re being well looked after.

My son has been attending Pembury Community Nursery for just over two years. He loves going to nursery and I have been consistently impressed with the level of care and attention that he receives from the staff. The staff are warm and genuinely caring and I know I can go to work without any worries about whether my son is being well looked after. The space is great – the garden is large and well away from any roads – and the activities that the staff arrange every day are fun and engaging. I'm really impressed with how much my son has learnt in his time at the nursery. The food is very good and I particularly like the fact that the children are encouraged to experiment with cooking themselves. All in all, a really lovely, caring environment. Highly recommended.

My son has been at Pembury for 9 months and really enjoys it. The staff are warm and caring and he has made lots of friends who he looks forward to playing with. They have recently put a lot of time and effort into improving the facilities and there seem to be plenty of fun toys and activities. I like the fact that it isn't on a main road and the outside space is a good size with a big slide that the kids love. He eats well and they take pride in the food they serve.

The staff at the Pembury Nursery have done an amazing job with my son. His previous nursery had expelled him for more challenging behaviour. In Pembury sometimes it got hard to cope with him but they never stop trying. In only 5 months my son has changed so much, I was about to drop out of university due to his situation but the members of staff encouraged me not to. This nursery played a pivotal role in mine and my son's lives. FOREVER GRATEFUL! 'Love can change the world'.
