The nursery provides children and families with a secure, caring and stimulating learning environment.

The professional, dedicated early years team provides children with the tools and learning experiences they need to develop their full potential play and learning in stimulating indoor and outdoor environments.

Children at the nursery can consistently access the outdoor area for fresh air and exercise. In the garden children have the opportunities to run and climb on the outdoor equipment in a safe environment.

Today we had a stay and play session. I felt that all the staff were extremely helpful and made sure all the children and parents had plenty to do to keep us all occupied.
When we first entered, it was so nice to see all the children so calm and relaxed enjoying a story and even though we were a distraction,
the children still engaged with the teacher who was reading.

Stars Pre-School Ravensthorpe staff have been amazing. They have greatly attributed to my child's development, emotionally and socially. They made sure that we are always updated about my child's progress and their daily activities. I would definitely recommend Stars Pre-School Ravensthorpe to my friends.

My child has been attending Stars since end of April 2021. He has been happy to attend and it has helped him with speech. Any concerns raised with his support has been given. I can not fault Stars, they have been fantastic.

Stars is very clean, open and bright. I can see why my son enjoys attending so much. Staff have been lovely throughout the years attending. Inside the setting shows so much learning and entertainment. I'm very happy I chose Stars to be my child's nursery.

It has been a good experience having a caring nursery to trust our daughter with. Stars nursery never disappoints. They always make sure that my daughter is learning and, at the same time, having fun. She's always excited about going to Stars. Their service also helps her a lot in terms of her goals.
I always feel at ease when my daughter is there. They have a really nice team.

Stars Ravensthorpe help my son in so many ways as he gains confidence in so many life skills. They help him develop his interests and help him learn the value of discipline and friendship, as what he is learning in school is what he is also showing at home. More so, my son is learning so many words.
His English communication skills have improved a lot. I can see that my son is happy attending school.

Am so happy for my daughter to be at Stars day nursery as she looked so well and was always happy to be at nursery. Regardless of her disability, she's always happy. To all the staff and the nursery, we are so happy with all the staff and how they look after all children.

My granddaughter has attended since 2-years-old. Also, children I child mind for attend. Communication is brilliant. Staff are welcoming and friendly. They all love going. My granddaughter's speech has improved so much, and lots of help with toilet training.

My grandchild loves it. There are never any tears on his way in - always has a great day, so they are obviously doing something right.
Reports etc, are always up to date, and the activities they arrange are always varied and engaging.

Brilliant nursery I highly recommend. Friendly and helpful staff. My son loves going to this nursery, and he’s learned so much in a short space of time being, and they have soo many different activities.

My child started in January and has really enjoyed it. The staff, so far, have been brilliant and handle things professionally. My child's development has been coming on massively already. One thing I dislike is the fact I have not been allowed to enter the room with my child to see the surroundings
and what adults around my child. I would like to see inside the building where my child plays to see the safety and what staff are present around my child. I do understand it is hard due to Covid, but that's one thing I do wish was different. Apart from that, I am pleased with everything about this pre-school. The communication I receive about my child is amazing.

The staff are polite and very helpful.
My daughter absolutely loves the staff and loves going to this preschool.
She has built up so much confidence and made lots of friends. The activities they do are really excellent for their learning. My daughter has learnt lots of new things and is very happy
there.

My little girl has been attending this nursery for a year now and she loves it. The staff are all lovely and helpful. During the pandemic they would call or email to ask how she was getting on. My daughter has really started to open up since joining and would recommend to anyone looking for a safe,

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2021

Hello! I’m Kayleigh, the manager of Stars Preschool, Ravensthorpe. I have worked in Early Years for 11 years now and worn a variety of hats, but this one is the one I am most proud to wear.


I have been part of the Stars family since 2021 and have had many fun, exciting and memorable moments already.
I am Level 3 qualified in early years and a Level 3 SENDCO lead for our setting.


I am passionate about creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment where all our children can learn and develop with our carefully thought-out curriculum that encourages exciting and new experiences for every individual child.
But most of all… I LOVE to have FUN and be silly with the Ravensthorpe team and children
