You can find them in Blackheath, not far from the station. It's a spacious nursery in a handsome Victorian building with separate areas for different age groups and a large garden.

The experienced staff plan each day with help from the children. They can choose from a wide range of activities, from gardening to science experiments, football to dialogic reading, and more. The children love to get out and about too – shopping for fruit and veg at the local market or nature-spotting on Blackheath.

Their in-house chef provides all meals using nutritious recipes from LEYF’s menu.

Having a nursery like The Conservatoire near our home is such a blessing! The individual attention and care given to each child is phenomenal. Our little girl attends the baby room thrice a week and like all babies, took her time to settle into the nursery; the staff were very understanding and supportive
throughout this period. We appreciate the daily report we receive from the nursery about our daughter's day with them and also really enjoy the weekly newsletter. As parents, we are very happy with the nursery and feel satisfied that our daughter is in good hands while away from us.

The Conservatoire Nursery is an excellent childcare facility. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and I feel totally confident leaving my daughter in their care. The nursery facilities are excellent and conveniently located for working parents who require fast access to central London.

Our child has been very happy at this nursery. The standard of care is excellent and the feedback to ourselves on his development and what he gets upto in general is very good. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son has been at this nursery for 3 years and really enjoys his days there. He gets a good variety of activities and has really progressed well. The staff are very friendly and supportive of the children and their families.

My Son loves going to nursery and doesn't look back when I drop him off as he is too busy hugging all the staff in the baby room. He is always happy when I pick him up and tired after such a busy day! He is learning new words, songs and loves playing with water and sound in the garden. He has great
fun exploring with the toys and activities such as painting or playing with materials and doing art. My Son isn't the easiest but the staff have helped to get him eating, napping in the day and good at nappy changes!!

As a whole I believe London Eearly Years Foundation as a company bring a unique world of learning to all their attending children.


The Conservatoire, Blackheath is a prime example of this. All baby room staff are kind, friendly, warming and welcoming, and as a whole, amazing. My child never leaves

without a big smile on her face for Daddy whenever I pick her up. Her keyworker is brilliant and always provides detailed feedback upon my arrival and genuinely loves being around all the children.

The nursery feels more like an extended family where the staff seem to really care about the children and their development. Both my kids love going in and enjoy the activities their nursery put on. The food is well planned and gets them experimenting new tastes.
It's a great nursery, I couldn't think
of anywhere better for them and I'm glad that I can go to work knowing they will have a fun and interesting day.

Hello, my name is Stacey-Jane and I joined LEYF in 2003. After a lot of hard work, I became a manager in 2014 and am now the manager of Conservatoire Nursery & Pre-School. I have the Early Years Foundation Degree and Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). We have a highly qualified staff team here. Their knowledge and skills help to support and extend children’s learning to its full potential.
