My son has attended The Conservatoire Nursery since he was nine months old. His development has been fantastic and I feel he is well supported and loved by the staff. The range of activities is great and there is always something exciting going on. He has developed strong bonds both with staff and other children and it has been lovely to build a network of such great people in our local area.
What I really love about this nursery is how they would make me and my child feel comfortable during drop-off. All of the Teachers in the Toddler room take the time to greet my son during drop off, making him feel welcome, then someone will always come to give him a cuddle, will give me a smile and assurance that my son will be fine and that they'll make sure he'll have a great time. I've seen some daycares too and I could say that these teachers have genuine sincerity in caring for the children. I believe my son can sense it too. We are on our 4th month now and whenever we say 'It's nursery day!' he would give us a wide grin and would happily say his bye-byes to both me and my husband.
We are very happy with The Conservatoire Nursery. Our son spends lots of time there and when I pick him up I can see he feels happy during the day. They have lots of different activities and ways of engaging with each child.
Staff are very caring and energetic, we are very happy and grateful for the help and support from the staff. Our son loves going to the nursery!
We would highly recommend The Conservatoire Nursery. Our child has been very happy there. It has a warm and fun atmosphere with good facilities and a great location. The staff are very caring and engaged with the children.
The Conservatoire Nursery is a great environment for children. The staff really care about them and go the extra mile to offer feedback at the end of a busy day.
My 2-year old has been at the nursery for a year and a half and has made some great friends and good progress with his speech and development
The variety of activities and excellent outdoor space ensure there is always lots to do, and there is also a very nutritional menu on offer.
I would definitely recommend the nursery to others.
Our son loves going to the nursery. He is having a really good time there and learning some essential skills along the way. He loves the sports hour on Mondays and spending time in the garden. He's bonded very well with his key worker and has really developed his social skills there.
Wonderful staff, great activities and general positiveness throughout. My son is happy there and I guess that is the best review!
The Conservatoire is just a lovely nursery. Like all first time mums, I was very anxious about leaving my son alone for the first time, but I needn't have been. It is reassuring to know that he is in such a warm and caring environment. I did lots of research about nurseries in Blackheath and there are many good ones, but for us, The Conservatoire ticked all of our boxes. We especially like the location (very convenient area but safe off the main road), outdoor space, food (!), creativity & activities, parental support & inclusion, and the staff. We receive good updates daily on collection; I feel the staff know my son very well and are open, honest and trustworthy. I really appreciate the weekly emails, the enthusiasm for the nursery and children's development, and as a parent, I feel well informed about what is happening at the nursery. Most of all my son loves it here. Choosing a nursery is not an easy task, but I can hand on heart say this is a great nursery & I am so glad we chose it!
Our daughter enjoys her days in the baby room especially when she gets to play with sand and water!!
Being slightly smaller than other nurseries in the area we felt it the best place for our daughter to be given more focused care, and the Conservatoire Nursery has definitely met those expectations.
She is now nearly three and we remain very happy with the care provided at the Conservatoire Nursery.
The nursery always goes the extra mile to keep the children entertained and encourage social skills from creating indoor beaches to royal wedding parties outside. My son is always so happy when I pick him up and it’s such a relief to know he is in good hands. I could not have made a better choice in nursery.
The staff in toddler room and the 2-5 years room really supported my son. He loved coming to nursery.
Staff are incredibly caring and know my child well. Focused attention and plans for individual learning and development are the main reason we chose Leyf The Conservatoire Nursery. The care my child receives is excellent and we love the focus on kindness, sharing and respect and diversity.
I think The Conservatoire Nursery is a very well run nursery with lots of happy children. It would be good to see more permanent members of staff as churn of agency staff might cause the children some upset.
Although the nursery is small, a great deal of thought has gone into using the available space - in particular, the garden. My son loves playing outside.
The staff are caring and know every child’s name.
A very friendly and safe environment has been created to leave my daughter each day. She really enjoys attending the nursery and is a very happy child - testament to their level of professionalism.
Our little boy is very happy at the nursery. He is genuinely cared for by staff and they take time to observe and encourage his strengths and positively work him to overcome any challenges.
Very caring and friendly nursery with well behaved kind children. Great variety in activities. My son is very happy here.
Our baby has been there for a few months now and she is settling in brilliantly (after a difficult first few weeks). She loves her time in nursery, doesn't even bother waving when being dropped off, is always happy and smiling when being picked up. We also notice how much progress she makes - eating on her own, using crayons, standing and walking, etc. The staff is clearly taking development and learning seriously and the fact that our daughter is happy when we drop her off and pick her up, makes it so much easier for us to go to work. She waves happily at everyone and clearly feels at home there. We can see how many different activities she gets up to from the 'art' she brings home and from the pictures in the weekly newsletter.
The nursery is in a lovely old building near the station, has decent size outdoor space for the children to play and the staff are brilliant, engaged and caring. We would recommend this nursery to everyone.
