Conservatoire Nursery & Pre-school

Our daughter has been at Conservatoire for a year and she has really thrived there. The activities are both creative and challenging. The children also spend lots of time in the garden and even take trips to the Heath, duck pond and other places, which really promotes their independence. It’s been incredible to see her development over her time there. She has become close friends with her peers and developed a lovely bond with her teachers. I also appreciate how communicative and inclusive the nursery is when it comes to parents. From sports days to picnics, there are several opportunities and events throughout the year to engage with your child, the staff and other parents.

My son has been at the nursery since he was a baby, he is now four and set to leave for school. He absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are amazing- they made the settling-in process easier, they handled the lockdown situation brilliantly, they provide creative activities daily, and they’ve really got to know our son. We are so happy we chose this nursery.

We are extremely happy with the Conservatoire Nursery, and would highly recommend it to anyone. Our 1-year-old son could not be any happier when we leave him in the morning! The staff are always happy and very welcoming, and the daily activities always seem to be fun whilst developing the children and the food is great!

Lovely, friendly and caring staff, our daughter loves it! All the staff are welcoming and plan fun activities for the children every day and the food is varied and yummy. The garden is our daughter's favourite place!

My daughter attends the Conservatoire Nursery and my son spent over 2 happy years there. Initially, I started both children elsewhere but I was never really at ease and was immediately relieved once I'd moved them here. My children were instantly much happier. The rooms (especially baby and toddler) are small so they remain calm and not overwhelming. Upon entering the rooms, visually there is not as much stimulation as some other establishments, but this considered and has been proven to be less distracting and more restful. Each day interesting and stimulating activities are planned to aid development and children go out in the garden. I miss the events I used to attend with my son and feel I know fewer parents than I did then but that is COVID's fault, not the nursery's! There are regular weekly communications with parents and daily updates on the app. Staff are great and the most important thing I can say is that you never hear a child crying - surely a good sign!

My two children have attended the Conservatoire Nursery for four years between them so far. The Conservatoire is a great all-round nursery and we have been very happy with everything over the years. Most importantly the kids absolutely love their time there. The staff are wonderful and really care about the children they look after. Many of the current staff have been at the Conservatoire since my daughter first joined over three years ago, and this provided great continuity for her as she moved through the age groups. The Conservatoire is a brilliant nursery and I don’t have anything negative to say about it.

The care that my child has received has been fantastic. Staff are warm, welcoming and have established a great routine and rules. The initial settling in period was difficult (separation anxiety - more foe me!) but at pick up, my child was always happy, energetic and content. Any issues that have arisen have been dealt with quickly, professionally and with sensitivity. Families are made to feel part of the Conservatoire community and the environment of fun, education and structure has been a pleasure to be part of. The nursery policies are strict which is important. The management is excellent, approachable and responsive. There are some really incredible staff members, such as his key worker who my child utterly adores. I would highly recommend the Conservatoire so much so that I have deferred my child's place at a local nursery so that they can spend more time at the Conservatoire. A huge thank you to the whole team.

Amazing caring, creative and responsive environment. All the staff get to know the children so well and the activities they plan really enrich the learning experiences of the young people in their care. Love the atmosphere of the nursery and also the commitment to inclusive learning and environmental issues.

Transitions like that are always worrying but the staff at the Conservatoire made it all go smoothly. They made sure he had some of his favourite toys for him on his first day and he settled in easily. He’s always happy when we pick him up and is clearly really enjoying it. His speech has improved a lot too.

Our little one has been attending the nursery since he was ten months old. Two staff members in the baby room are truly amazing. They were brilliant at settling him and helped him to love nursery. All the staff we’ve met incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’ve always felt listened to and like they really care about our little one. He’s now in the toddler room and the staff are lovely there too. The learning they do is great and the system they use for sharing learning with families is great. We would definitely recommend this nursery.

The staff are amazing, so caring and nurturing. Our daughter is in the baby room and is always happy to go into nursery in the morning. She started at the Conservatoire in September and the settling in was a smooth process with lots of communication and updates on the parent app. Would highly recommend this nursery.

A brilliant nursery with extremely caring staff, great activities, a real focus on learning and excellent communication with parents. Our daughter is in the toddler room and runs into nursery most days. Highly recommended.

Both my children attend The Conservatoire, one in the baby room and the other in pre-school. They are both more than happy to walk into their rooms in the morning, which makes it so much easier to leave them and head off to work. All the staff are lovely and management arrange a lot of events to create a sense of community. Highly recommend.

My son has been at the nursery for 2 years and my daughter has just joined. The care in the baby room is outstanding. The staff made my daughter’s transition to nursery completely pain-free and she has a real bond with them. Frequently I collect her from nursery and she is happily sat on their knee. I feel they go above and beyond in their care for the babies.

My son has thrived in the preschool room. The staff are a real mix of ages which is rare in a nursery setting and has really benefitted him. He frequently talks about staff at home like he would family members. They do lots of outings - ‘the day of kindness’ where they went out into the community to do kind acts was a particular highlight and my son still talks about it now. All in all, having viewed many nurseries in the area previously, I’d say The Conservatoire is the best around.
