Kindred Durrington is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, Kindred are able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Durrington is located within the heart of Durrington, next to the Infant School and has been awarded an Ofsted 'Good' rating (May 2022).

They offer exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years and are open from 7:30am to 6:00pm (with session times to suit your needs).

The nursery has an impressive large outdoor space with mud kitchens and access to a fantastic Forest School. Staff are passionate about loose parts play and follow a Reggio-inspired approach to learning and development.

There is a dedicated parking area for families at the nursery.

My son has been at kindred Durrington for over a year. He has learnt so much and development very well. The staff are excellent and make sure we are sent lots of updates throughout the day and always give us great feedback at collections. He has made lots of friends and looks forward to going into nursery
everyday. This is down to the incredible staff that helped settle him.

I can't fault the care my daughter receives from Kindred Durrington. The staff are hardworking and friendly & are always keen to ensure to respond to my child's individual needs to stimulate her development. It's clear to see how happy she is here!

Love Kindred nursery, all 3 of my children have attended still 2 currently go! They have improved so much since interacting with children their own age& the staff are so accommodating! Highly recommend!!

I am amazed at how much my granddaughter has changed since starting at this nursery! There has been a massive improvement in her speech and development, and she thoroughly enjoys her time here!! The staff are always very happy and I enjoy having the handover about how her day has been!

Our granddaughter has just started and we pick her up sometimes and we think this preschool is great. The staff always tell us about what toys she liked playing with and what she’s had to eat. The room she is in is nice and she always looks happy when we get her.

My son attends this nursery and he always comes home really excited to tell me all of the fun and amazing things he has done and learnt throughout the day. The staff are so welcoming and the activities they do throughout the day are so inspiring. Such an amazing nursery!

My daughter started in January 2024 and she has settled so well. Staff are friendly and the menu is good. Good location for us and we love the daily updates on the app about what she’s eaten and how long she slept. She always looks so happy in the photos on the app and I’ve already told some of my friends
about this nursery.

My daughter started attending Kindred Durrington in August 2023. During the time of her settling in, she gained close bonds with her peers as well as the amazing staff. Every morning pick-ups, they bring a warm friendly welcome which eases the drop-offs. She goes in and always comes home happy. They
have a beautiful field that they use in the warmer weather which is a breath of fresh air to see all the children having access to such a wide space to be children and get mucky! If anyone is interested in bringing their child to Kindred Durrington I 100% recommend and you will not regret it!

My son started in February 2024 at 2 years and 1 month. He has pretty much not left my side for 2 years and has potential additional needs to work on. So the nursery decision was important to us as a family. I was given so much support at the open day and the settling-in days to reassure my son and
myself which gave me so much confidence and I knew it was the setting for him. My son loves it, all the staff are welcoming, the menu is great and the activities and communication are spot on. I have full confidence my son will grow and develop in the nursery setting and would recommend it to anyone.

Our 9-month-old has recently been settled into curiosity crescent and we couldn't have had a better experience - even despite him getting poorly and needing a lot of extra attention! The staff are all lovely and reassuring, including management who made me feel not quite so silly for crying at leaving
him and offering lots of tissues. The staff keep you so well updated via the app and are just so helpful. Could not recommend them enough as a provider.

Friendly, safe and caring setting and staff. My son has been attending this nursery for the best part of seven months and has made so much progress from language to social skills during this time and is continuing to learn. Really happy with choosing this nursery for our son.

Since my daughter started the nursery nearly a year ago, she has come on leaps and bounds. She's treated like family and we get a good handover each day. Her speech has improved majorly and has done activities I never would have done at home. She thoroughly enjoys the varied nutritional meals that are
cooked.

At Kindred Durrington we really do see us all as one big family and as such we treat the little ones like our own. Being child led we concentrate on what subjects they are interested in and focus on these by creating activities around these so that moments of awe and wonder are made for them to engage, develop and be inspired. Our chef is amazing at cooking our accredited nutritional menu and we find lots of our little ones come back for more.

The staff are fantastic and treat my son like one of their own. There is a real family vibe and he settled in very quickly. The facilities are great and he enjoys going outside so much. I love how the staff in the baby room are so caring and how my son’s key worker always greets him with a big smile on her face. It’s very reassuring to know that he is being looked after by someone who has built a great rapport with him and who now knows him very well.
As well as giving the children
plenty of food each day, they also do other activities such as painting and colouring. I also like how the staff can easily update you as parents through the app as to how your child is progressing.

My little boy has attended here since he was 7 months old when his mum returned to work at the setting also. He has always been so well cared for and loves his time at nursery, telling me all about his day when he comes home. The staff have been so supportive with him, especially as at times he can
find it very hard to understand Mummy needs to work and look after other children and not just him.

Kindred Durrington is my child’s home away from home. Every morning we get ready and they excitedly wave goodbye to go to the baby room at nursery.
They have a close bond with their care providers giving me peace of mind that they are cared for whilst I’m at work. My child is always encouraged to
develop their skills at Kindred Durrington with clear communication between myself and their care provider to ensure we reach their potential.
Lastly, my child loves the meals Kindred offer to the extent that they eat better in Kindred Durrington no matter how hard I try to maintain the same standard. Going to collect my child to find them sat around a table enjoying a meal with their friends warms my heart.

We are very happy with Kindred in Durrington, my son can be quite shy and they are always happy to settle him with a cuddle.
His speech has improved and he has started to come out of his shell and make friends.
Highly recommend, they are very friendly and I feel my son is happy and safe.

I would like to share my opinion. This is a very good nursery, my kids always enjoy it there and they love their all teachers. They are always very excited to go into nursery and all staff are very friendly and kind. They have all the facilities for kids and they can play outside. Also, my kids enjoy

Throughout my child's time at Kindred Durrington Day Nursery and Pre-School the staff have been excellent at helping him; whether it's been guiding him on his own learning journey or adapting to changes at home when either parent is away. They cater for the individual's needs which has been so important
for us.
I know my child has fun every day there and is happy and safe.

My daughter loves being at Kindred - she runs into the building most days! The staff know her well, and she is very settled there as a result. Her language has carried on developing nicely there, and she enjoys the range of activities and interactions with staff. They do fun things - Friday afternoon

If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 55 number of registered child places is 11, which has been reached with 29 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I have a Foundation Degree in Early Years and have worked in Childcare for 10 years, starting my journey as an apprentice. During this time, I have held a variety of roles and completed different qualifications, whilst developing new skills and interests along the way.
