Partou Chiltern Avenue Day Nursery & Pre-School, is a warm and welcoming nursery providing high-quality care and delivering outstanding outcomes for their children. Open Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm, 51 weeks of the year.

They offer stimulating and engaging spaces for children to grow and develop in, with lots of natural resources providing fantastic opportunities for children to explore, play and learn.

Their highly trained practitioners believe in nurturing children’s individual interests to help them develop and grow in all areas of their education and well being. Learning through play is at the heart of what they do.

Freshly prepared meals are offered on site, catering for allergies and special dietary requirements.

The ethos which is followed is believed that children should be allowed to be children and the adults who look after them should believe that too. They use real and authentic items in play which provides many more learning opportunities and encourages children to have proper experiences.

Both my boys have been at Daybreak since they were little and they have been very happy. My youngest is now in Big Sunshines and he's loving every minute. No matter which room I've been impressed with the love and care that has been shown to my boys. It's a loving, caring, nurturing and great learning
environment. Thank you, Daybreak for helping my boys grow and develop.

The staff at Daybreak Nurseries Amersham Chiltern Avenue are fantastic- friendly, caring and very supportive of parents' wishes. The food is varied and prepared onsite which is great. They have a brilliant garden at the back and the children get plenty of fresh air. My son loves it and is always telling
me stories about what they've been up to that day.

My son settled in really well at Daybreak Nurseries Amersham Chiltern Avenue and bonded with the care workers quickly. I felt confident he was being given the best care possible and they took time to make sure he was happy and having fun with lots of different activities. I’d definitely recommend the
nursery to anyone looking for a place for their child.

Fantastic people, providing wonderful care, entertainment and learning for our twin girls. After 2 years, there's become a very obvious bond between the staff and our kids. They're also sticklers for all rules which is no bad thing. We are extremely happy with how this has worked out.

The staff have been very supportive of my son, who usually finds it hard to say goodbye to me in the mornings. They anticipate the problems we have, distract him and do it all before he gets upset. He has a wonderful day with them and usually doesn’t want to come home! It’s massively reassuring to know
that he’s happy whilst I’m at work.

The support given to my child, myself and partner has been exceptional and kind. As well as working to very professional standards, issues are discussed very compassionately and if there is anything that the team can do to help, they will and are genuinely motivated to deliver the highest level of service
and understanding. The sincerity taken in every aspect of the care they give (to parents as well as children) is much appreciated in the difficult world of being a working parent.

The staff have done a great job at supporting our daughter through her transition from nursery into pre-school. She has settled in well and in a very short time. She has made lots of friends, often talking about them at home which is lovely to hear. Her speech has come along leaps and bounds in the
last couple of weeks and she is constantly surprising us with what she's been learning.
The staff are very approachable and supportive when it comes to things like potty training and eating (she is very fussy at home!). This is really helpful for us and we have seen some developments as a result!
The facilities are good, lots of space to run around, both indoors and outdoors and there's plenty of activities to get involved in.
We are really happy with Amersham Chiltern Avenue and would highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the level of care provided to my little one during the 12 months that he went to Daybreak Chiltern Avenue. The activities they put together were very good and the staff were very caring.

Daybreak Nurseries Amersham Chiltern Avenue is an excellent nursery. The staff are very welcoming, kind and caring towards the children and communication from the managers is excellent. They are very vigilant when it comes to safety and always communicate via telephone if my child has had a little bump
or fall.


My son has experienced a wealth of learning opportunities and I have witnessed the high-quality practice of the staff. He loves pre school and has developed fantastic relationships with his key workers and other children. The nursery is really forward thinking and celebrates different events throughout the year, which contributes to the children's understanding of the world. There is also the option of having additional ICT/ French and cooking sessions. The nursery also operates an excellent transition policy when the children move up into the next room.


My son is happy, confident and growing in independence. I know he is having an excellent start to prepare him for school. I can't recommend Daybreak Nurseries Amersham Chiltern Avenue enough!

I have used Daybreak Nurseries (both Amersham sites over the years) to care for each of my children in turn since 2009. My youngest has recently left to start school. They have always made me feel that my children were safe and cared for. The staff have almost universally been warm and welcoming. Additionally,
I have been amazed at the efforts and encouragement put into my children's development, and the teaching of EYFS. I feel that Daybreak provide extremely high quality, and therefore very good value for money, childcare.

A year ago, I would have wholeheartedly said that this nursery was outstanding and the place to send your child, however, my view has changed somewhat in recent months. Something in the culture of the nursery has changed! In my opinion, this nursery has suffered from a constant turnover of staff which,
whilst this is relatively normal for the industry, I find concerning as the effect on the team is evident. There are a number of outstanding team members who have a visible natural affiliation with the children although, at times, even these stars have seemed disheartened. In my opinion, due to the recurrent staff changes, standards across the nursery have declined. I have to be clear that this is purely my opinion and may not reflect that of other parents.

The staff were so caring and accommodating, helping us every step of the way to ensure we all felt comfortable with all the changes in our lives. We have been very pleased with our nursery having "moved up" from the previous nursery over the road (same company). Our two-year-old is happy to remind us that "I like preschool".

I've been very happy with the care provided for my children at Daybreak. The staff always greet my child with a smile and welcome. They take a real interest in the children and are enthusiastic. I've noticed how my child is being prepared for starting school and is able to tell me all about various
facts and things she's learnt while at nursery. It feels like a very well organised setting and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to place their child.

My son is currently at Daybreak ACA, and my daughter was there until last year (she currently attends the break regularly). I have been very impressed by the dedication of the staff, the warm atmosphere and the amount of fun and educational activities organised for the children. Most importantly, it
feels like a safe and caring environment for our children to spend time and have fun in whilst myself and my partner are at work. The staff are brilliant and have built really strong bonds with both of my children. I would highly recommend.

Daybreak is amazing. Even my father who thought a child should stay at home with their mother admitted he was wrong as he saw his grandchild develop. No parent has the tools or knowledge to prepare their child for school in the way Daybreak did for us and our child. She was head and shoulders above
most children when she started school and continues to do well. All I think is due to the guidance we and our child has received. I am very thankful to all the staff throughout our child's 4 years with daybreak and continued into the Break.

We moved our son here a year ago from a local nursery based on recommendations. We are very pleased that we made that tough decision. The main reason for our satisfaction are the staff. Always warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and energetic - I don't know how they do it! I have also been really impressed
with our son's learning and general development (he attends 4 long days a week). The indoor/outdoor flow is flexible, they often have extra planned activities and we also pay extra for some classes run by external suppliers (e.g. French, IT, sport, cooking).

My daughter has attended Daybreak in Amersham since she was 4 months old, she is now 4 and she has loved her time here. The staff are amazing, its a warm friendly environment, which has really helped my girl to socialise and build bonds with both the staff and other children. I have felt complete confidence
in the knowledge that she will be properly cared for with love and affection in a totally professional environment. The range of activities is fantastic and encourages the children to explore the world around them. It has been great preparation for starting school and developing lots of skills and I would not hesitate to recommend Daybreak.

My daughter has been at 'Big Daybreak' for 6 months now, having moved up from 'little Daybreak'. We are very happy with the level of care and attention given to her as the staff are interested and invested in the children and my daughter is very happy to be left with them. She has even told me on
occasion that she doesn't want to come home yet as she hasn't finished playing! The mixture of learning through play is very well balanced with general fun and the kids can go out to play in the garden whenever they like. I feel very confident that she will be ready to go to school when the time comes and that Daybreak will have played an enormous role in that preparation.
