About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

We asked the manager for extra sessions for December (no show on the app, no email response). I asked her in person twice she said she was busy and it was not ready yet.
Sometimes I booked for extra sessions as they showed as “available” on the distributed list. However when I called to check why no response or confirmation from my booking the manager said it was not booked because the staff are taking holiday. I don’t understand if they showed on the system was available or did not respond to me.
The manager is unprofessional which I assume is a reason for the high staff turnover.
After looking into your concerns, I can confirm that settles have been arranged for you with your welcome letter on 18.10.2022.
Extra sessions are shared weekly but availability is subject to change as extra...
My son has attended the nursery since he was 7 months old. He settled in very well with the help of the friendly team in the baby room. They were always calm and reassuring whenever he got upset during drop-offs and gave detailed feedback upon collection. He is currently in the toddler room and is now 25 months old. He loves coming to nursery and doesn't stop talking about the team in his room whilst at home. It's clear that he's had a great day by the way I need to persuade him to leave the setting!
We strongly advise everybody to stay away from this nursery. There is no way to come in direct contact with management, so whenever you feel an issue needs to be discussed, your location manager will forward an email to head office and he/she will copy something back. You do not receive a notice that your email has been received and a reply takes 1-week minimum. You can never contact the head office or senior management directly and are refused communication. We informed the nursery about our international move as soon as the nursery reopened after it furloughed all staff. Since the nursery has not requested any updated contact information or has not provided us with a number to contact head office ourselves we are now unable to contact the nursery about the refused refund of our deposit. Greenwich has many great nurseries. We would strongly suggest considering any alternative to Little Elms.
Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We are in agreement that the staff working with the children in the room work very hard to ensure the best standard of care for each child at the nursery. We are very sorry that you were dissatisfied with the communication received from our senior...
My daughter attended the nursery for about 3 years and now my son is currently there. We’ve known the staff for a long time and can say that overall, we are happy with everything. So much so, that our very first nanny was a teacher from there and currently, we use another nursery teacher as a babysitter. I would recommend this nursery to anyone I meet that’s looking for one. The staff are very friendly and the manager is the stalwart of the team. The teachers are attentive to the children and Even though my daughter has left now, she enjoys going back to say hello.
Both of my children attended Little Elms - my daughter graduated over a year ago and still has great memories from her time there and loves to go and drop off and pick up her little brother as she gets to see her old carers. To me, there is no better sign than seeing your children happy and that is the experience I have had with both of mine. My boy has been there since he was 6 months old and loves to go. The staff and management are great and I totally recommend this nursery.
My daughter has been attending since September 2017 and we are very happy! Premises are good, selection of toys and activities change continuously. The staff also change quite regularly and the garden is not the biggest but they always take them for walks along the river and nearby playgrounds.
My son has attended Little Elms since he was 6 months now 2 years. The staff have been great in supporting his needs throughout from the baby room to the toddler room. He enjoys the extra activities that the nursery provide such as dance, sport and french. They take daily walks with the children either to the museum or around Greenwich locally. I am happy that my son is growing to be confident and independent. I am happy to recommend Little Elms Greenwich to others.
My son is going to Little Elms Greenwich since he was 11 months old and now he is 2 years old. I am very happy with the progress of my son. He is extremely cared for by all the staff and the best part is that the manager and the staff are very open to any feedback or adjustments needed for the child. They cater to each child's individual need and help in the best way they can. It's a lovely nursery and I highly recommend it.
Both of my children attend this nursery and I found the staff and manager are very helpful and attentive. They're very professional and able to answer any queries I may have. I am very happy to put my children there as I know they are being look after with the highly trained staff.
Happy to recommend this Nursery!
We love this nursery. We put our son with them in March 2017 at 6 months and our daughter started this year at the same age. They have had a few staff changes especially at the beginning, but have been very settled for the last two years. The care has been exceptional. Our children are happy, balanced individuals who know how to play and share. They can find quiet times on their own when they need to, eat most anything politely and I credit the nursery for a lot of that. Given the amount of time they spend there, we have high expectations and the team consistently exceed these. We will be sorry to say goodbye.
My 14-month-old daughter loves the nursery, thanks to the staff and the child-friendly environment. She is always happy to go, so I’m happy that I have chosen Little Elms too.
My son has been attending Little Elms Greenwich for almost two years now. He has been really well looked after and has been very happy during his time here. The staff are friendly, attentive and well equipped to take good care of the children. The nursery is managed well so any admin queries etc are dealt with promptly and efficiently. There is a great community of parents of kids at the nursery who get on well. Would highly recommend to others.
