Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery East Finchley

My experience with them is extremely good and I highly recommend this nursery.

Amazing baby room. Staff are so caring and nurturing and have excellent knowledge of all my baby's needs; weaning, development, sleep, and play. They have been a real help and support in and out of nursery. Lots of activities for speech, crawling, walking and my baby can do all the messy activities she can't do at home. Love the black and white area and all the real or natural bits and bobs that again she can't explore at home. I also like that they go to the park, library or to the shops to buy cooking ingredients on occasions. An amazing and safe place for my baby to be. Love it! Very happy!

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the first time a month ago and is so happy to go there that I feel relieved to let her go and confident to have some free time. She is cuddling the staff a good way to see how kind they are with toddlers. The activities she is enjoying are the one I don t have time to do at home and thus a perfect complement to her learning. Schedule, location is also the right elements I was looking for.

My 4-year-old daughter has been going there since she was 8months old and my son who is almost 2 has been going there for almost a year. They both absolutely love it which is I think the most important piece of info you need in a review! On top of that, Monkey Puzzle staff are lovely, caring and take an above and beyond interest in the development and welfare of my children. They consistently exceed what is expected of them (my daughter's old key worker is taking her out on a special trip this weekend 'her treat'). Over the 3 1/2 years, we have been going they have been flexible with our evolving needs and provided addition support when necessary (e.g. When my daughter was potty training and I was finding it hard). Plus all the usual things re curriculum development, stretch activities, structure, monitoring, regular reviews etc are all very good. We will be very sad to move on to the school phase and I am sure will miss the support of Monkey Puzzle immensely. Cannot recommend this nursery more highly.

My daughter has been with Monkey Puzzle East Finchley for nearly 6 months and it is excellent. The staff is very attentive and caring. My daughter loves her keyworker and has a smile on her face all the time. I highly recommend it.

My two sons (one is now at Primary school) have really loved Monkey Puzzle East Finchley. We are very happy with the nursery and its staff. In terms of the building it has a major advantage over many of the other nurseries which are squeezed into house conversions - this one is repurposed offices. The rooms are more spacious, brighter and more practical. It allows the room leaders to be more creative.

The staff are very caring and dedicated and both our sons are always smiling and happy when we pick them up. Management are proactive and always looking to improve their offer. They're receptive to ideas too.

After almost a year there, we've been delighted with the care and attention Jacob receives at Monkey Puzzle. He's quite a sociable little boy (almost 2 now), and he loves playing with all his friends. He thoroughly enjoys the meals and activities, and if ever he's ill, the staff there let us know promptly and check whether or not to give him Calpol. The staff there are excellent and he gets on very well with all of them - after a few weeks of uncertainty, he now looks forward to every day there. We're very happy with the nursery and would warmly recommend it.

Communication with parents is great and feedback and discussion on your child's progress is actively encouraged. Family involvement is also encouraged in many other ways (sending in family photos to put up on the walls, attending Christmas parties, helping with special events, etc.).

Overall, I'm really happy with the nursery and it makes leaving my daughter when I go to work that little bit easier.

Our 1-year-old daughter has attended Monkey Puzzle for several months now. We choose the nursery because the staff were very friendly and seemed to care a lot more than other nurseries we visited. They have a room especially for sleeping which is ideal for babies and a good outdoor area so the kids get fresh air.

- There is a dedicated sleep room for the babies as oppose to a cot in the corner as with other nurseries.

I would highly recommend Monkey Puzzle.

Food is of a good standard and varied.

In pre-school, the children are clearly being prepped for the next step, when they start reception at school, including activities like PE lessons with the aim for them to learn how to get changed on their own. There is a great outdoor play area, and the children are encouraged to spend some time out there every day. Overall, I would strongly recommend this nursery, it is very conveniently located opposite east Finchley tube station, making pick-up and drop-off easy.

Both my kids have been with Monkey Puzzle since their baby days.

The staff and management are wonderful. I feel like I can trust them with my child - which is the most important thing when selecting a nursery!

The staff are supportive and caring, they make an effort to accommodate each child's needs. They produce reports everyday and there is also an online system to track my son's development so I am reassured that his well-being has been taken care of. Very good nursery, cannot recommend it enough!
