Every day when my boy wakes up, he says Mummy, Let’s go to Monkey Puzzle - nice way of morning greetings. Every day when I collect my little one, he’s always happy and smiley.

We would happily recommend the nursery to other parents. We cannot fault it.

With our two children, we've been very impressed with the level of care at Monkey Puzzle over the last five years. The staff do really care about all the children there and ensure their families are always well informed. Our children have been very happy there and we're sad we'll no longer be part of the Monkey Puzzle family once our youngest starts school in September.

My daughter has been at the nursery for just over a year now. It is an exceptionally warm, happy, caring and fun environment and the team are clearly very passionate and committed to the children’s well-being and development. Every day the team take time to update you on the childrens day and always provide a personal and home away from home connection and environment for the children. I would highly recommend it.

Monkey Puzzle is a wonderful nursery. The staff are always smiling, approachable, kind and so caring towards the children. Our three-year-old has been attending for nearly two years and our one-year-old is just about to join. Amongst their many strengths, their ability to assess and adapt to the individual needs of each child stands out in particular and ensures that you have complete confidence in the team and the happy, fun, secure and educational environment they provide. I would highly recommend the nursery to any parent.

We are so grateful for the amazing care that Monkey Puzzle provides. Our daughter has been at the nursery for almost a year and is happy, settled and thriving in the nursery. The staff are brilliant. So incredibly kind and caring and the nursery is really well run with well-established safeguarding and staff training procedures. They have worked so hard to re-open safely after lockdown and we are incredibly grateful for the care, creativity and kindness of the team at Monkey Puzzle.

The staff are great, management exceeds expectations and are receptive to comments and really act on them. The manager is particularly and truly exceptional, highly involved and she usually goes the extra mile with no hesitation (and many times behind the scenes) to make the children feel content.

Our daughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle since the age of one. I was initially nervous about returning to work and choosing a nursery but the staff at Monkey Puzzle couldn’t have done more to put my mind at rest. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. They go above and beyond to ensure all the children are cared for and happy. Our daughter is always so excited to get up and go to nursery and see all her friends as well as everyone that works there and always leaves full of stories and smiles.

I have a daughter who has attended Monkey Puzzle for the past two and a half years and a son who has just started. I can honestly say I’m so happy my children are looked after here. I know they really love and care for my children. They are warm, kind, friendly and fun as well as being safe and organised. As a first time mum with my daughter, they helped guide me and feel comfortable with all aspects of her development. Couldn’t have asked for more and am devastated my daughter has to leave for big school. Highly recommend.

We (and our daughter) love Monkey Puzzle. It is a very warm and happy place, run very efficiently by the management team. They are very good at what they do and very responsive to any concerns you might have. The children are happy and confident - I particularly love how enabling they are, even in Tweenie room all the children serve themselves cereal and very little mess is made! - and how conscious they are of preparing the children for the next stage, whatever that may be. The children are kept very active, even in baby room, with activities like messy play that it's hard to do at home. Throughout the pandemic and lockdown, they did a sterling job of keeping us informed of all the government changes/rules and did their best to keep charges to a minimum. Once lockdown was lifted, they likewise have done an excellent job of reassuring parents and making us feel it's safe to return. They've been fantastic.

What a great start for our kids. Surrounded by the most amazing and loving team, who care about every detail: from what they eat to their favourite learning subjects. The feedback and advice we receive from their primary carers also shows that they recognised every change and development step each of our kids takes. Great work. Don’t change a bit!

My son has been at the Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery since about 8 months old. He's 4 in November and his care has been exceptional. I have full confidence in the teachers/carers ability to ensure that he gets the proper stimulation through learning and play related activities and have watched his development closely. We find the staff professional, caring and patient.

We have been part of the Monkey Puzzle family for the last 5.5 yrs and can not recommend it highly enough. The care and attention they give the children is outstanding and we have always been impressed by how they consider the family as a whole and take a personalised approach. The manager and her management team are excellent with a strong presence at the nursery and always approachable. Fantastic nursery!

My twins have attended Monkey Puzzle since they just turned one, after I had received several recommendations from other parents. They have a wonderful ‘open door’ policy (under normal pre-Covid circumstances) so parents/carers are always welcome, and they have a flexible, individualised approach to supporting children. I have been particularly impressed with the regular and clear communication from all staff at the nursery, particularly from the management, and especially during the recent lockdown period of uncertainty. They are a warm and friendly nursery that always seem to be striving to do the best for the children they care for.

Will be leaving for Reception in September and they will be massively missed.

Both our children have been very happy at Monkey Puzzle. Consistent staff and management team, good communication, flexible approach. We have had a positive relationship with the nursery. The children have developed really well, lots of positive interaction and fun activities.

Our daughter started at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery when she was 1 and we have been so happy with everything about the nursery. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and we really got the feeling that they all cared about our daughter, even if they weren’t the dedicated carer. The nursery is a clean, bright, energetic environment and gives great stimulation daily to the children. We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place for their child. It’s like an extra family for our daughter.

Excellent care and so much love to all children. Teaching staff is amazing and the Manager is always ready to help. I feel very thankful for having my child in such a great Nursery! Air hugs to all of them.

We have been part of the East Finchley Monkey Puzzle Nursery family for seven years now and our youngest is due to leave to go to school. We have always been delighted with the nursery and the care they have given our children. The staff are warm and welcoming, led by their brilliant manager and we have always felt our children were in a safe and nurturing environment where they (and we!) have made friends for life with the other families. We can't recommend the nursery enough and we are sad our journey with them is coming to an end. Thank you to the manager and team for everything you have done for our children!
