Both of my daughters have been to Banana Moon Sheffield. Both have been happy and developed well there. The staff are caring and have endless energy. The food is varied and healthy. Lovely outdoors provision and time spent outdoors, year-round.

We now have our second child attend Banana Moon and both children are well looked after and cared for by the staff. There are a variety of activities throughout the day to help children develop and staff always come up with new ideas. The nursery have their own in-house cook, who provides a broad variety
of home-cooked meals. Another big plus point for us is the outdoor space. The children get to play outside every day.

Both of my sons attend Banana Moon and have a great time whilst they are there. The staff are all fantastic, so welcoming and loving. The feedback we receive is fantastic and has recently moved to an online app which makes things much easier as I can check on how they are at different times of the day.
All of the children appear to be happy and well looked after. They have a huge outdoor area which is used daily. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery for our children!

Excellent staff who are kind and caring. Good facilities, including lovely garden. Management can be a bit hard to get hold of at times but otherwise very happy with the nursery.

Excellent nursery and staff are wonderfully experienced and caring. Great staff to parent communication. Our Daughter loves going to nursery and this speaks volumes for the type of environment Bana Moon offers and keeps consistent. Reviews and feedback offered every day and they provide development

Our Son has been very settled at his time at Banana Moon from start to finish he has been cared for and loved by all members of staff. Our Son runs into the room in the morning and never want to leave when we pick him up. Thank you.

Banana Moon offers a brilliant experience for my Daughter. She has developed so much since she started nursery. The staff are really attentive with her. She has a variety of food and gets to experience lots of trips out. She looks forward to going to nursery every morning.

My husband and I are so pleased with the care provided by Banana Moon Day Nursery Sheffield. The staff obviously have huge amounts of pride in what they do and this is reflected in the fabulous and positive manner in which they interact with the children. The children undertake a variety of daily activities
(if they wish to) from French and Spanish lessons to different dance activities. The children are encouraged to be confident, respectful individuals and are able to express themselves in the way they feel comfortable. We go to work knowing our son is genuinely compassionately cared for. We couldn't be more grateful

Me and my partner are very pleased with this nursery. The staff are professional and supportive and my son is always happy to see them. With the help of the excellent staff our child (who can be a bit shy at times) settled in at the nursery quickly and she now loves going there. The nursery has a large outdoor area and they spend time outside every day. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and very gentle with the children. They played
a huge part in making the transition to nursery as easy as possible for our child. All the learning at the nursery is well documented and parents receive daily care sheets to get an insight into what their child has been up to. The food is freshly prepared on site and our daughter seems to enjoy it. Overall I would highly recommend Banana Moon Day Nursery Sheffield.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. We are so thankful we came across Banana Moon. Sadly we had to remove our daughter from her previous nursery we placed her in which ended up totally destroying her confidence and making her very anxious about being left or using the toilet. At this point
we came across Banana Moon who when we explained the situation went way above the call of duty to make our daughter settle in, rebuild her potty training confidence and she absolutely loves it here. The facilities are wonderful and possibly the best outdoor space we have ever come across with a large walled landscaped play garden where they have picnics and snacks! From music, French and Spanish classes and museum trips this nursery provides it all (and our daughter only does 2 days a week!). The freshly cooked food on the premises offers a great variety and rooms are bright, light and airy. The staff are superb and our daughter genuinely adores her key worker; she always comes back bursting with things to tell and things to show us about her day with great excitement and enthusiasm. Her speech has significantly improved since attending this nursery and her self confidence is fully restored again. She even asks to go to nursery! Every session is followed up with a full write up covering all of her day, and the chance to ask questions if needed. The nursery really has helped bring out our daughters personality again, and as a military family we are used to seeking new establishments due to frequent moves. We have visited many nurseries, but I cannot state how blessed we are that our daughter attends Banana Moon and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Hello,
My name is Danni and I am the manager of Banana Moon Day Nursery. I have worked here since 2016 and became manager in 2018. I have 2 boys who are 5 and 2. My eldest has gone to primary school this year and my youngest is here with me at Banana Moon. I am level 6 qualified after achieving a BA honours in early childhood studies and have over 10 years’ experience of working in early years across all age ranges. I love outdoor play! We spend a lot of family time over the weekends in the parks and woods surrounding Sheffield, getting wet and muddy. This is something we actively encourage at Banana Moon and our large garden allows us to enhance children’s experiences in the outdoor environment. I also love our storytimes at nursery. Watching the children’s imagination grow with every turn of the page is one of my favourite things about working in early years.
