Banana Moon Day Nursery Sheffield

We’ve had 2 x kids go through Banana Moon Day Nursery Sheffield now and couldn’t have been happier with our experience (especially through the pandemic and how the team so swiftly adapted). Both boys are full of energy and the varied and stimulating activities with lots of outdoor play kept them engaged, challenged and happy.

The facilities are good - the outdoor space is great and they spend a lot of time playing outdoors which is important to us. The focus is very much on play and is child led but there are also additional activities such as French classes and this week they did some yoga. I would recommend this nursery to others.

Banana Moon is a fantastic place for our little one; we’re so pleased we chose it. The location is perfect for us. The outdoor space is incredible for our little adventurer. The biggest asset to Banana Moon is the people. The practitioners all really take care of our most precious team members; we’re left with the feeling that they support, nurture and encourage development. It’s a lovely environment.

Both my children have gone to Banana Moon. I feel the staff care genuinely about the children and enjoy spending time with them. Three meals and additional snacks are prepared fresh onsite. There is a lovely big garden where the kids spend lots of time.

The Banana Moon app is a great way to communicate with team members and provides reassurance during the day it is nice to see what the little ones are enjoying.

Happy to fully recommend Banana Moon. My little boy has been attending for over a year and has loved coming in every day, both in the baby room and now in toddlers. There is always a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities for the children, and it often seems to be very child-led which is great for imaginative play. The staff are lovely, genuinely caring, and helpful. The nursery app is also great, it's lovely to see how they are getting on throughout the day.

Friendly staff, variety of play and activities, and my little boy also arrives and leaves with a big smile. App used for updates is helpful and nice to see pictures of the day. Feel like my boy’s development has been really good and his curiosity to learn helped massively by time in the nursery.

Both our boys attend the nursery and we are extremely happy with their care. The staff are fantastic with our boys and understand and respond to their individual needs. There are a variety of great activities and learning opportunities including some external provision, such as dancing and French. We love that they receive home-cooked meals and that the nursery has a large garden for them to explore. But what we love most is the staff and how they treat our children like family.

Both of my children have received fantastic, personalised, loving care at Banana Moon, and we have recommended it to several friends and neighbours. The staff are brilliant and attentive and the food is excellent (according to my kids!) What more could a parent ask for?

Both of my daughters have been to Banana Moon Sheffield. Both have been happy and developed well there. The staff are caring and have endless energy. The food is varied and healthy. Lovely outdoors provision and time spent outdoors, year-round.

We now have our second child attend Banana Moon and both children are well looked after and cared for by the staff. There are a variety of activities throughout the day to help children develop and staff always come up with new ideas. The nursery have their own in-house cook, who provides a broad variety of home-cooked meals. Another big plus point for us is the outdoor space. The children get to play outside every day.

Both of my sons attend Banana Moon and have a great time whilst they are there. The staff are all fantastic, so welcoming and loving. The feedback we receive is fantastic and has recently moved to an online app which makes things much easier as I can check on how they are at different times of the day. All of the children appear to be happy and well looked after. They have a huge outdoor area which is used daily. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery for our children!

Excellent staff who are kind and caring. Good facilities, including lovely garden. Management can be a bit hard to get hold of at times but otherwise very happy with the nursery.

Excellent nursery and staff are wonderfully experienced and caring. Great staff to parent communication. Our Daughter loves going to nursery and this speaks volumes for the type of environment Bana Moon offers and keeps consistent. The staff at Banana Moon have worked so hard to help my little girl settle into nursery. She is now really happy there.

Our Son has been very settled at his time at Banana Moon from start to finish he has been cared for and loved by all members of staff. Our Son runs into the room in the morning and never want to leave when we pick him up. Thank you.

Banana Moon offers a brilliant experience for my Daughter. She has developed so much since she started nursery. The staff are really attentive with her. She has a variety of food and gets to experience lots of trips out. She looks forward to going to nursery every morning.

My husband and I are so pleased with the care provided by Banana Moon Day Nursery Sheffield. The staff obviously have huge amounts of pride in what they do and this is reflected in the fabulous and positive manner in which they interact with the children. The children undertake a variety of daily activities (if they wish to) from French and Spanish lessons to different dance activities. The children are encouraged to be confident, respectful individuals and are able to express themselves in the way they feel comfortable. We go to work knowing our son is genuinely compassionately cared for. We couldn't be more grateful

Me and my partner are very pleased with this nursery. The staff are professional and supportive and my son is always happy to see them. They offer a good range of play activities to help development and learning, activities are changed/rotated often. I feel confident going to work knowing that my child is well cared for in a safe and fun environment.
