Banana Moon Day Nursery Sheffield

Both of our children have absolutely loved Banana Moon. Our youngest has been going there for nearly two years now and his big sister went there until school. The staff are amazing and create a wonderfully supportive environment that really helps kids develop their confidence. The nursery has a lovely outdoor side and the kids are outside in all weathers. We had a fantastic experience with their SEN support too and found the nursery both willing and able to adapt their processes to support our child.

My son has had a fantastic experience at this nursery. Staff are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. They know how to encourage progress and play is also an important part of their day. I am so happy that we chose Banana Moon Sheffield. Their app is also brilliant.

We have been using the Sheffield Banana Moon Day Nursery for the past five years and our children are very happy in this nursery. A lot of activities and the children are served two hot meals a day. Management is also very responsive. Good communication overall.

They love it there. The staff are amazing. The kids don't just have fun but learning experience is built into everything they do.

A fantastic nursery that keeps my daughter happy and learning every day. She loves being outside, and the nursery has a large outdoor area where they take them out to play and explore every day. The team staff are caring, and experienced, and share my child’s progress each day via the app and on pick-up. Management is great at communicating and also know your child well. We’ve recommended it to many friends.

I cannot praise everyone here enough. My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since joining Banana Moon Day Nursery. Everyone is so lovely, caring and personable. They all really care about the kids and it shows on the happiness of all the little faces! From the onset, I have felt so comfortable leaving my little one in their care.

We moved our 2-year-old daughter here a few months ago when we moved house. We have been blown away by the warmth, care and kindness of the staff, who really give 110% to the children. Our daughter settled in very quickly and never wanted to leave when we go to pick her up! The nursery also seems very well managed by a fantastic manager. It has fair policies and excellent food provision for the children. The app is really handy too - we love getting updates throughout the day and being able to contact staff through it. Would definitely recommend Banana Moon!

I can't really find fault and would happily recommend it to anyone with young children. They are a fantastic team, with great management leading them.

Both my children went to this nursery and the staff were always amazing, accommodating, caring and knowledgeable. Their communication was fantastic. Their policies made me feel really secure that my kids were safe at all times. They spent so much time playing educational games and making learning fun, so when it came to starting school both my kids were well prepared. The garden is a real selling point as the kids have a lot of room to play outside and the staff make an effort to try to go out in all weathers. The food that they served was one of the selling points when we were first looking for nurseries for our first child and Banana Moon stood out among all the others because the food they served was always varied and fresh compared to other nurseries who seemed to just serve things with chips. My kids were fed 6 times most days with fresh meals and snacks, which allowed me to relax knowing they had full tummies. I will always recommend this nursery because they really are the best!

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough. We're so glad we chose it and feel lucky to have it in our area.

My child was moved from another nursery after not settling in. Every member of staff at this nursery made so much effort with my child, to ensure he was happy, settled and safe. His speech and confidence are beaming! He has come on so well since being here and I will always be grateful to them for that.

The nursery has been wonderful in helping my daughter adapt to her new life here in the United Kingdom. The teachers and administrators are very patient and understanding. They are also very friendly and respectful. They take the time to explain my daughter's daily activities to me and also send me an activities report via the app. My daughter loves her teachers and classmates.

Our daughter needed lots of support getting to sleep away from home at first but the team at the nursery were fantastic: patient and proactive in helping her to learn to sleep well. After seven months she naps better at nursery than she does at home!

I am really impressed with Banana Moon Sheffield. From the very outset, the staff have been outstanding and my daughter has benefitted from her time there tremendously. The quality of care is exemplary and staff at every level reflect this, from the practitioners, the cook, management, and executives. I would personally recommend Banana Moon to all parents of children and would like to thank you all for looking after my daughter so well for the past two and a bit years.

We have been so pleased with Banana Moon Sheffield. Both my girls have been here and loved it! The staff are really kind, friendly and the kids love them. They have both thrived here. I completely recommend this nursery! Also 2 hot meals a day which is incredibly rare!

Our daughter has been going to nursery now since the end of March. The staff have been absolutely brilliant in helping us all through the big change. I have gone back to work full time and I have no doubts that our little one is well looked after every day. We get updates through an app so we can see what she is up to throughout the day, which has really helped me in the transition from staying at home 100% of the time with her, to being back in the office full time. The staff are all friendly and approachable. They have a really sensible approach to looking after the children and make sure that they are all as happy as they can be, even if it means sitting in the office with them for a little while and sharing their malt loaf! Honestly couldn't recommend Banana Moon Day Nursery, Sheffield, enough.

Our little girl has been at Banana Moon Day Nursery, Sheffield for a year and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The staff know the children on such a personal level and that goes for everyone across the nursery not just the staff in my daughter's room. Her day is made up of the things she enjoys and she is increasingly challenged as she gets closer to going to school. Meals are varied from week to week.
