Kids Planet Salford opened in August 2014 and was rated Ofsted 'Outstanding' in 2015. This purpose-built nursery is located on the corner of Eccles Old Road and Langworthy Road and in close proximity to Media City, Salford Quays and Manchester City Centre.

The nursery benefits from four open plan rooms with direct access to safe and secure outdoor play areas, offering children an exciting area in which to play outside. There is also a separate roof terrace playground for preschool children.

All children at the nursery have access to a sensory room, which offers children a relaxing environment in which to explore the different textures and light forms.

Meals and snacks are freshly prepared by a qualified nursery chef on the premises who caters for their individual needs. The chef operates a six weekly menu.

Access into the nursery is through a state-of-the-art finger print entry system; all internal doors are staff key fob operated and each room and outdoor area has CCTV. The nursery also has an intercom system as standard, ensuring that each child's safety is paramount at all times.

I was always so nervous for my baby to come to nursery, but the staff have been amazing and made me feel comfortable with leaving him. He has developed so much in the short time he has been here and he is loving his days here. It's great being able to check on him through the app.

Kim Brophy is the Manager. Kim holds a BA honours in Education and Inclusion and Early Years Teacher Status. She has worked in Early Years now for 14 years and has worked at Kids Planet for over 6 years, starting as a room leader and working her way up to Manager.
