Kids Planet Salford opened in August 2014 and was rated Ofsted 'Outstanding' in 2015. This purpose-built nursery is located on the corner of Eccles Old Road and Langworthy Road and in close proximity to Media City, Salford Quays and Manchester City Centre.

The nursery benefits from four open plan rooms with direct access to safe and secure outdoor play areas, offering children an exciting area in which to play outside. There is also a separate roof terrace playground for preschool children.

All children at the nursery have access to a sensory room, which offers children a relaxing environment in which to explore the different textures and light forms.

Meals and snacks are freshly prepared by a qualified nursery chef on the premises who caters for their individual needs. The chef operates a six weekly menu.

Access into the nursery is through a state-of-the-art finger print entry system; all internal doors are staff key fob operated and each room and outdoor area has CCTV. The nursery also has an intercom system as standard, ensuring that each child's safety is paramount at all times.

We only have experience with the toddler room staff, the manager and the Senco but they've all been wonderful with our daughter. We tried another nursery a year prior and our daughter didn't do well at all, but she's really flourishing here and we've noticed a huge change at home with her as well. It's
really nice when we get updates during the day on what she's been doing and eating and getting pictures of her as well. We would highly recommend this nursery.

I can't fault this nursery in anyone, it's amazing the staff are amazing my son was in there in 2022 and my daughter is in there now. I will be putting my youngest in Kids Planet next year. My children have come on amazing since being in nursery. The nursery is amazing and outstanding, I couldn't say
anything negative about it.

My daughter loves nursery, she is always smiling and roaring to go in and enjoy her time at nursery. She loves the staff in the tots room and always comes home smiling and happy. I can tell she is well cared for and happy and comfortable in nursery. I get daily updates and a phone call if she has fell
or hurt herself. The staff are always kind and helpful in anything I need and prompt to help with anything I need. Working in a school, nursery have accommodated my working hours to term time only which has helped me massively. I appreciate the nursery more than they will know and will be gutted when she’s old enough to leave and attend big girl school. Thank you to all the staff, you’re amazing and the best team for my little girl!

The staff are very friendly and qualified, which gives me confidence when leaving my child. The nursery has planned activities to strengthen children's current developmental stage. Cleanliness is good and my daughter likes the fresh meals made every day. My only negative experience is I wasn't told
on the first day I would be given a bag and a blanket for my daughter as part of the admin fee. Which, on the plus side, I think is a lovely idea. Updates are put on the parent app which I rely on to see how my daughter is getting on. Overall, I would highly recommend this nursery.

Both of my girls attend here and it’s a great nursery. They both love going here and they cater for their needs (dietary and physical). Staff are friendly and communicate with me well. The excitement when they realise where they are when we arrive is just fabulous.

Amazing staff look after my little girl amazingly and are very polite. Have trained her to use the potty very well and she in now good at this. She has interacted with lots of other children very well and been taught to share along with manners too.

Little one has been at nursery for 3 months and after an initial period where they wouldn't settled, he now absolutely loves it and will be moving from 1 to 2 days a week.
The baby room staff have all been great with him and keep him engaged with new activities.

I recently moved my daughter from another nursery provider. I was worried she would not settle. She was great the staff are amazing I am always kept up to date with the daily activities. My daughter has flourished since attending Kids Planet, I have seen a massive difference in her overall development.

I was always so nervous for my baby to come to nursery, but the staff have been amazing and made me feel comfortable with leaving him. He has developed so much in the short time he has been here and he is loving his days here. It's great being able to check on him through the app.

Kim Brophy is the Manager. Kim holds a BA honours in Education and Inclusion and Early Years Teacher Status. She has worked in Early Years now for 14 years and has worked at Kids Planet for over 6 years, starting as a room leader and working her way up to Manager.
