Wee Gems - Armadale

Been using the nursery for over a year now for my son and he loves it. The girls are great with him and the nursery is very flexible if I ever need last minute childcare.

Our Little girl has been at Wee Gems - Armadale for just under a year. When she started she had a really tough time settling in and struggled with separation anxiety. The staff knew I also really struggled and could not have been kinder, on days where I had to stay a little longer, they were great and on days where I was struggling and had to just drop and go, they were also very supportive. I phone every day and staff are always lovely, they never make you feel like a hassle. A year on, my daughter waves me off at the door, loves going to nursery and I am delighted in how much confidence she has gained. Her speech and development are phenomenal and I credit a lot of this to the activities and interaction within nursery. I love the portal and seeing pictures of her busy days and on top of fab childcare, the staff are good at keeping it updated. Thank you, Wee Gems to all the team, for bringing me the confidence to know our little girl is safe.

Wee Gems is a fantastic place. The facility is clean, bright and safe with great variety of toys and learning aids. The garden area is well kitted out to allow the children to play outdoors. There are always a range of activities for the children to take part in.

Located next to the train station, it is very convenient for commuters.

The menu is varied and changes regularly.

Wee Gems greatest asset, however, is its people. The staff and management are always very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated to caring for your child. They are amazing and my daughter loves them to pieces.

It is a great place, my daughter loves it. She is there from the very beginning (nearly three years now) and I can see how big impact the nursery activities had on her development, both mental and physical. Staff is friendly and very helpful, location is great for commuters either to Glasgow or Edinburgh, facilities are nearly brand new, food must be great as my daughter always eats everything with additional helpings - the only downside is the fact it is a bit expensive.

I could not rate this nursery more highly. I feel like when I drop my girls here they are in great hands and they get so much out of their time here. I find all the staff extremely professional, friendly and approachable. They are always more than happy to spend time at pickup telling us about how they have been and what they have been up to. Both girls adore the staff and our 2 year old often talks about them at home.

Excellent nursery, fabulous variety of activities for the children. Is a credit to the management team the great care provided. Very responsive to feedback. Highly recommend.

I am so happy we managed to get a place at Wee Gems and would highly recommend it to all parents out there.

I am a first-time mum and after viewing several local nurseries, the staff at Wee Gems stood out and make this nursery so appealing. The staff make a real effort to get to know each child's individual needs and personality. The nursery is extremely inviting and transparent with parents encouraging parents to get involved in sharing ideas and holding parent focus groups. The nursery is very well managed and the manager is very hands on with a genuine interest in the care of each and every child. The design of the nursery is very bright and friendly with an energetic and team working culture. I love the fact there's a large garden area that my daughter utilises ever single day.

What a fantastic nursery. I can honestly say all staff are amazing. Highly recommend this nursery. Overall brilliant. It's amazing to see how much the staff love their job and as a mother it makes me feel at ease. my daughter has come in so much since attending Wee Gems - Armadale. Her confidence has grown and her language skill amazes me every day. My daughter tells me about the staff and always smiles when talking about them.

I highly recommend this nursery to other parents and family members. The staff are absolutely brilliant with my child I definitely wouldn't put him anywhere else. They are extremely understanding of any situations you have. My son has come on leaps and bounds since he has attended the nursery back in June 2016.

I believe they offer a great range of activities each day my little girl is in and she is stimulated from the minute she gets in until she goes home.

Relatively new nursery. Fresh and engaging for the children and very well-equipped. Staff are friendly and engage in a range of activities with the children to support their development. Online application is updated each evening on the child's day, including regular pictures, which is brilliant!

My son absolutely loves it at Wee Gems. It has brought him out of his shell no end and his speaking has improved loads since starting. They always have plenty of activities for the kids to participate in which is great - the music class is my son's particular favourite. The staff are warm and friendly and my son feels really comfortable around them. In fact, when I ask him who his friends are at nursery he always includes the staff too! They encourage his learning and he is now rhyming off numbers, shapes, colours and letters without a problem. I was really reluctant to put my son into nursery as I felt that perhaps he wouldn't get the attention he needed but I couldn't have been more wrong. The staff at Wee Gems make leaving him that wee bit more bearable.

My son has been attending Wee Gems Armadale since it opened in March 2015 & would highly recommend the nursery to all. The facilities are great, meal menus varied & nutritious, education & activity programs they offer are extensive but most of all the staff are fantastic. You are always greeted with a warm welcome & you can have complete peace of mind knowing that your child is good care & having fun. The staff are always approachable & happy to cater to the individual needs of your child. The ParentZone mobile app is another plus side which Wee Gems now offer, giving parents the opportunity to check in to see what their child has been doing throughout the day. The nursery has more than adequate parking & is in an easy location for commuters as its right next to the railway station. Well done to all who helped make this new nursery a great success! I am happy I decided to use Wee Gems Armadale for the care of my son, he has flourished from his time there.

My son enjoys his time at this nursery. The staff have genuine affection for him and I know that they take good care of him while he's there. It feels like he gets the individual attention that he needs sometimes and not just a once size fits all approach. He has learned so much in the last year and feel that the nursery time has been an important part of his development. Will definitely put baby number 2 in there asap.

Friendly and caring staff ensure that our little boy is kept safe, happy, and engaged each day leaving my wife and I free to leave him without concern. Out little boy is thriving there and the staff have come to know his little personality traits as well as we do. Highly recommend this nursery and the great work it does.

Staff at Wee Gems made me and my little boy feel at ease from then very start. For a nervous first time mum and particularly clingy baby, they helped make the back to work transition much smoother for both of us. Staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in getting to know the little ones. They really are a great bunch.

They are always singing, dancing, doing messy activities (which I wouldn't even attempt at home!) and out playing in the garden/out for walks. Can't fault the variety of activities they offer. Great for encouraging a child's confidence and development.

A healthy and tasty sounding menu is provided. My little boy regularly eats all and goes back for seconds so it must be good!

Parents are kept very well informed via the Parent Zone app and site which are really handy. Friends and colleagues are often impressed when I can see how my little boy's day is going from an app on my phone.

Overall, delighted with the service provided. My boy is well looked after and seems to thoroughly enjoy his days at nursery. Happy baby = happy mum. Thanks to the team at Wee Gems Armadale for doing such a great job.

My son has been attending the nursery for a few months now and he loves it. There are always lots of different activities for the children to take part in. The rooms are fresh with lots of different areas to explore and plenty to keep the little ones entertained. The garden is a great bonus as my son loves playing outside.

My son is always given a warm and friendly welcome when he arrives. The staff are caring and take the time to get to know your child, and I always enjoy hearing what he has been getting up to when I go to pick him up. There is also an app where you can check in with their progress throughout the day.

I would highly recommend this nursery and I'm really happy with the service.

I was torn between childminder and nursery, but from the moment I stepped inside this nursery on their open day, I felt at ease straight away and it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders as I knew this is where my daughter would go.

I have never had tears when leaving her and I believe the staff have never had tears from her, which in itself shows she is happy.

All the staff are friendly and knowledgable and I'm very happy leaving her in their care, knowing that they will look after her. What I like is that all the staff know my daughter not just the staff working in her room and in return I also know all the staff not just the ones looking after it.

The staff keep you up to date with the progress of your child after each visit and can always tell you everything about what they have been upto.

The nursery brings in outside organisations to do different activities with the kids which is great for giving them a taster of other social groups available out with nursery.

A massive thumbs up from me.
