Wee Gems - Broxburn

I had my twin boys in this nursery and the boys were only little. The boys loved their time at Wee Gems and the staff were very reassuring when leaving them. On pick up from the boy's, I had a lovely bundle of pictures to show me their first day at nursery.

Not had any issues with them in the 7 years we've used them.

My son currently attends Wee Gems and my daughter previously attended since the age of one. My time at Wee Gems is coming to an end with my second nearing school age. It will seem strange not to be there as it's become so familiar and part of our routine over the past 5 years. We Will miss them. Staff friendly and accommodating. Management supportive and approachable. Good balance of learning and play and glad they use the outdoor space every day. Meals filling and healthy.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the last 4 years and we have been very impressed by the dedication of the staff in each of the rooms. Everyone is very welcoming and they obviously know all of the children. There is a good range of additional classes and trips offered too.

I personally don't believe there is a better nursery out there.

The staff have all been fantastic and my little girl. I feel they all know her so well. She has a great time there and educationally she amazes us all the time at how much she is learning at nursery too.

One negative point is that the older 3-5-year-old children would benefit from having their own separate room. The open plan nursery gets very noisy and the younger ones, in my view, suffer from levels of noise.

Wee Gems is a great nursery with dedicated staff and great facilities. Both of my children have been going there since they were babies and they love it. The staff are always attentive and caring and I know that my kids are in good hands when they are at nursery. Kids are encouraged to learn and explore various topics each week which is great for their development. They also learn a lot about healthy living, healthy food and physical activities. The nursery has optional classes available; French, football and music. My kids attend music classes and really enjoy them. Food is freshly prepared and always well balanced. Both of my kids eat better at nursery than at home and I am not a bad cook, lol.

I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to anyone living locally especially to first-time parents who are anxious and worried about leaving their child in someone else’s care. I am very grateful for all the support the staff have provided.

Wee Gems, Broxburn is a fantastic nursery with excellent staff - I would highly recommend to anyone! I have two sons attending and both love it. The variety of what they experience is superb, my eldest is even learning French and counted 1-10 this week without any help. Socially, they have both come on so much; their time at nursery will undoubtedly help when they get to school. Delighted we made the decision to enrol them here. Well done Wee Gems!

I feel my daughter is more open and sociable. It's great to receive feedback on what our little has done or been up to. Lovely nursery.

I would never pick any other nursery than Broxburn Wee Gems.

He is now more than ready for school after the summer, even if I'm not.

Very very fond of Wee Gems and the role it has played in our little girl's life.

I feel that my child is in safe hands when dropping him off to the staff in Wee Gems and I am guaranteed he will have an amazing day of interactions, games, walks and garden play etc...

My little boy started at Wee Gems - Broxburn in the baby room when he was 8 months old, he is now 2 years old. All the staff and management were very helpful and made settling him into nursery a smooth and easy process for both myself and him. This has also been the case when he has been moving up the next rooms. There are always great activities going on throughout the day and the children get good use of the garden too. The staff also take the children for walks in the community and have even organised a trip to various places for the children to go on. I am always kept fully informed of my child's nursery day and all the staff are great at meeting my child's needs/wants. I love all the lovely choices of food they have on the menu for meal times and ensure my child has a healthy balanced diet. I would EXTREMELY recommend Wee Gems Nursery to anyone looking for the best childcare.

My son has attended Wee Gems from 5 months old. Every member of staff knows and loves him. He enjoys nursery and does things I couldn't do at home with him. The menu is varied and my son has an intolerance that they cater wonderfully for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wee Gems to anyone.

My daughter has attended Wee Gems for the past 4 years. I could not be happier with the care that my daughter has received over this time. The staff are fantastic with the children and are always more than happy to help. My daughter is always excited to go to nursery in the morning and spends most of the night telling me all about the fantastic activities she has participated in that day. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds due to the staff knowing her individual development needs and providing activities to help her to develop at her own pace to the best of her ability. I cannot speak highly enough of management as they made going back to work so much easier by accommodating my needs and my daughters, they are always happy to answer any questions or worries you may have. The large garden area is fantastic for the children to burn off energy while developing gross motor skills using the large climbing frame and other equipment they have.

Lovely welcoming nursery. Very friendly and caring staff. Feel reassured knowing that my little boy is getting looked after. Staff manage to have time for parents/carers as well as the children. My little boy has more confidence since joining this amazing nursery. Thank you, Wee Gems.

My 2 year old 4 year old have both been at Wee Gems from the age of 7 months and both absolutely love it. They have both earned a huge amount and had lots of fun in the process. The staff are friendly and approachable and we love that we get updates and photos of what the children have been up to through the nursery Facebook page and online learning log. Will be really sad when our eldest has to leave to start school in August!
