Old Kent Road Nursery & Pre-School (Formerly Bird in Bush)

My son has settled into Bird in Bush perfectly and has loved it since the day he started. I and he will be sad to leave when he starts big school. All staff at Bird in Bush are great.

All of my 3 children attended this nursery. They were extremely happy every day. The staff are friendly and full of empathy. The huge garden is a fantastic place to play.

I have seen a great number of developments in my nieces from drawing to identifying colours and numbers effectively. She is more confident and balanced and looks forward to going to nursery every day. The nursery itself is a great environment to be in: from friendly and approachable teachers to a fun, vibrant learning space.

My grandson has loved his days at nursery. It was such a pleasure to pick him up for his Mum and Dad and hear the excitement in his voice when he was telling me all about his day. The staff are always warm and friendly and show such genuine interest in the children.

The staff are very supportive in the circumstances and ensure the children feel safe, respected and can thrive in any environment.

My Godson has attended this nursery for the last year. I am very happy to do this review as he is extremely happy when he is there. This nursery has provided him so many opportunities to develop his confidence, to be independent and he has learned good communicational skills. all the staff and management are very helpful.

Very impressed with Bird in the Bush nursery, first impressions, very clean, polite staff, safe, extremely hands on with all the babies, got a very good vibe for the whole surroundings.

This is by far the best nursery in my borough. Since starting at the nursery my nephew's development has flourished. I love the home from home feeling and the welcome my nephew receives every morning, the home cooked meals, the interactive settings and the way that, in day to day life, my nephew can actually see a man working at the nursery, and that positive male role model, when so many do not have that in inner London, is the reason my sister and I wholeheartedly support Bird in Bush.

Very competent and friendly environment for my child. My child loves this nursery and feels very safe and well looked after. Can strongly recommend to any parent. Overall very satisfied with the childcare services of this nursery.

My daughter is very happy here, and the staff have been doing a wonderful job of looking after her and keeping us informed about her development. It took us a while to find a nursery that we liked, and this was, without a doubt, the friendliest and cleanest nursery that we visited. Would highly recommend!

Lovely team, very friendly helpful and welcoming and most importantly my two nieces are very happy there. Also very organised establishment, tidy and secure.

My son thoroughly enjoys coming to this nursery twice a week, he has great friends and a fabulous key worker.

Not much to say apart from THEY ROCK. The staff make you and your child feel at home and that’s the best feeling. They are caring and passionate people.

Bird in Bush was my son’s 3rd nursery and by far the best! The staff are friendly and the nursery has very good facilities, including a much larger playground than the norm. My son loves it there - would definitely recommend.

I really love this nursery. It's a great place if you want your child to excel in the education department. The staff are very caring and the management is attentive to all parents' needs. I feel at ease leaving my child within the care of Bird in Bush Nursery whilst I am at work!

I would like to say that, Bird in Bush nursery is one of the best nurseries around. My son started when he was just 18 months, as a new and first-time mom I was very apprehensive leaving my son with strangers but when I first got to the nursery I was received warmly by the manager and the staff. My son settled in well and has improved tremendously. The manager and staff are always ready to help parents at anytime. Feedbacks are given verbally as well as written. The manager and the staff are very professional and friendly. They are very hardworking and dedicated. With my experience with the nursery, I would recommend it to others.
