Amazing outside space for central London. A hidden child garden Oasis on Old Kent Road. The staff here are extremely caring with my son & daughter. They are engaged with creative activities daily which aid in their development. Many different spaces for the children to play in & its lovely how the older children spend time in baby room to 'help' with the baby activities. We have been very happy with this nursery for the last 4 years & the nursery has supported us with a number of changes in our household. Would recommend to all friends & family.

Such an incredible setting with brilliant kind staff who have done so much for our son who has been here since he was 11 months old. He is always made to feel welcome when he arrives. Happy with the food. The outside area is also a highlight. Highly recommend the manager and her great team. We were lucky to find this place.

The staff are always so helpful, you can see they are fully invested in all the children's wellbeing and development. I really do feel that they care for each and every child. The food is healthy and varied. I would highly recommend Old Kent Road.

My daughter has grown and developed so well at Old Kent Road Nursery. She has learned many skills, but what stands out the most is the effort the staff goes to make the children feel welcome and cared for - my daughter loves going and has made a real connection with her keyworker and other staff.

It's my daughter's last month at Old Kent Road Nursery and as usual, the team have done a brilliant job of helping her get ready for her future. We particularly enjoyed her graduation which was well organised and included a personal story about each child graduating - a lovely touch. Thanks to everyone for everything over the last few years and we look forward to next year when our youngest joins.

I love Old Kent Road Nursery so much. Since the birth of our second son, they have really supported his older brother in the challenges that come with a growing family. I feel they genuinely know and care about the children and offer a wide variety of activities, stay and plays and learning. Our second son has recently started there too which has so far been a great success.

Wonderful setting, brilliant team, passionate about my child's learning and experience, warm smiles and most importantly my son loves it.

Both of our children have thrived at Old Kent Road Nursery. The staff are nurturing and the space is great - the preschool garden especially. They organise lots of lovely activities every day and our children seem to learn so much there.

A few weeks ago, the nursery demonstrated exemplary professionalism during an emergency situation. A fire broke out in a neighbouring building less than 100 yards from the nursery, prompting an immediate evacuation. Without prior knowledge of the incident, my wife and I were relieved to learn that the nursery staff efficiently relocated all the children to a sister facility. We were promptly notified via phone, text message, and email once the evacuation was complete, reassuring us of our daughter's safety. The team managed the situation with remarkable calm and competence, prioritising both safety and clear communication throughout the process. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the children remained calm and unperturbed during the transition. The smooth and well-coordinated response to this incident has greatly reinforced our confidence in the nursery's commitment to the safety and well-being of our daughter, leaving us, along with other parents, thoroughly impressed.

I love that they embrace the different cultural backgrounds and languages the children have at home, and encourage them to share these with others in the group. Our daughter is encouraged to develop new skills, build relationships with her friends and grow into a confident person.

Exceptional nursery that I cannot recommend highly enough where staff know children really well and are passionate about giving them every opportunity to develop their creativity and understanding in whichever direction they choose.

This is a lovely warm nursery, we love sending our daughter here, she always comes home encouraged about her learning she loves her teachers and friends she has made, highly recommend it! Thank you for looking after her dearly!

A wonderful nursery. My 4-year-old daughter loves it. Especially the massive garden! Lots of great activities, caring staff and very well organised. My daughter started at 10 months and both the baby and preschool room have been fab.

I will be forever grateful to the staff for taking such amazing care of my son and giving him the safe space and resources to grow up as the unique, amazing little human he is.

Our daughter has attended Bird in Bush Nursery for a year and a half and has really enjoyed her experience. The staff are brilliantly caring and accommodating, and I credit them with helping us settle in and take on the challenges of raising a 3-year-old. Whatever mood our daughter is in at drop off, she is always happy and chatty after her days at nursery.

The only thing I could speak negatively about is the app. I find it to be very inconsistent. Updates are extremely delayed and I assume some are completely missing. For example, some days according to the app there has been no nappy change but I can tell there actually has so either it’s not being updated or the app is glitching. I was also expecting to get more frequent updates on the app about what’s happening at nursery with pictures. We’ve had it only a handful of times. In my view, the whole point of the app is so that we can see what’s happening while we’re apart but with it being inconsistent and often very delayed it kind of defeats the purpose.
