My son went to Maggie and Rose Chiswick Nursery for four months and he loved it. He built such strong relationships with his key worker and all of the other staff.
The nursery provided lots of pictures and a detailed breakdown of his day including all his meals, nappy changes and nap times. They also
took the time at the end of the day to chat about what he's been up to.
The facilities there are great, the baby room was very modern with lots of natural light. There's a big garden on the roof which is astroturfed so the kids didn't get too messy.
We moved to a different area so had to change nurseries but I wish he could've stayed.

Our daughter has been at Maggie and Rose for the past nine months and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. The staff are so caring and she is always excited to go to nursery each day. They do really varied activities and she has developed so much since starting. It’s a really lovely setting and we
are so happy to have a place there.

My daughter has attended Maggie and Rose Chiswick since September 2021, and my son is due to start nursery there too next month. My daughter has thrived during her time there and I’m often amazed at the things she has learnt - she rattled off every month of the year in order yesterday and told me she
learnt them at nursery! The staff are lovely and so helpful and there was no other choice when deciding where to send our son. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Both my kids attend this nursery. My eldest has gone through the baby room and is now in the toddler room, with my youngest now in the baby room. The Maggie and Rose Chiswick staff have been incredible. I feel the staff really care about the children and, as a mother, I feel extremely comfortable leaving
my children with them. The kids are kept busy with lots of activities, songs, dance, even cooking and outside exploring; with most things tying together with their weekly theme.

After almost a decade with children at Maggie and Rose, I can safely say this is a brilliant nursery. We have tried a couple of others and this one stands out for a number of reasons, including, staff care, the attention given to our children is and has been warm and nurturing. Due consideration and
care for allergies.
Facilities; great location and fantastic facilities.
Food; great nutritional value and interesting menu.
Tech; a great app utilised by all and a great way to get images and updates. Activities; animal person attending regularly. Simply amazing.

Our child has been attending this nursery for over a year and has absolutely thrived. She has been treated with kindness and love. We have never had an issue with dropping our child off as she is always so happy to be there. The food served is organic and healthy and the snacks provided are always great
for the kids. The environment and toys are always clean and engaging to the children and we love receiving updates throughout the day of what our child is doing and seeing pictures from her day. We love Maggie and Rose.

We have our two boys at Maggie and Rose Chiswick and couldn’t me more delighted with how the teams there have supported and engaged with them. From settling in during those first few weeks, to their day to day activities and learning. The days and activities are always so well considered and thought
through, from painting and drawing to singing and sports!

The place is fabulous and the staff are extremely friendly
My 3-year-old daughter told me once that she loves her playschool family and she called them family and keeps talking about them even at home. The place is very clean all the time, we can see via the app every day what they eat and how much
they eat, it makes me really happy to see her pictures every day of what she is doing. The staff helped me with the potty training while I was struggling.

Maggie and Rose Nursery have been amazing for our daughter. They are so kind and gentle with all the children and it’s such a pleasure that our daughter skips into school with a huge smile on her face and wakes up every morning asking whether she can go to school that day. One staff member has been
so sweet in the toddler class and our daughter has now moved into pre-school and has transitioned seamlessly.

Our 21-month-old daughter attends Maggie & Rose two days a week. She’s been going for six months now and absolutely loves it. The staff are always looking to do fun-themed activities with the kids, and she has learnt so much from being there. Our communication with the carers is great. It’s been perfect
for what we needed.

I cannot recommend Maggie & Rose Chiswick Nursery enough. The staff are fantastic, the facilities are great and above all, it’s spotlessly clean. Both my daughters have attended this nursery, and they absolutely love it. The manager has always gone above and beyond to accommodate any requests we’ve
made. Children are given endless opportunities here, and the communication throughout the day via their app is an added bonus. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking around. We fell in love with this nursery as soon as we viewed it and have never looked back.

Our boy has been at Maggie & Rose Chiswick Nursery for a year and loved it. The staff are so caring and they clearly love him too which has been lovely to see. The activities are varied and despite the fact he is so young, he's learnt a lot. Plus his repertoire of nursery rhymes has expanded - I hadn't
even heard of some of the ones they taught him. A huge thank you to everyone at Maggie & Rose Chiswick for the way they've looked after him over the last year, it's a pleasure to write a review and recommend it to others.

Everyone at Maggie and Rose is amazing. You really get the impression that they care about the kids. Our daughter gets dropped outside the nursery every day and she practically runs in, always smiling and clearly loving being there. When there have been issues, they have always been quickly dealt with
in a calm and professional manner.

Maggie & Rose nursery has done wonders for both my children, they are so happy there and the progress in all their development skills have come on leaps and bounds. Both my children have been going since they were 12 months old and I remember leaving my eldest there for the first time was very daunting,
as it is for all first time mums, but the staff were so welcoming and he settled so unbelievably well, we have honestly never looked back. He is now nearly 4 and will soon be moving onto big school and I know he will miss it so much.
I cannot recommend Maggie & Rose highly enough, the staff are fantastic!

My child has been at Maggie & Rose for a few months now and he is very happy. The decision to put him in nursery was somewhat difficult but I can say, with confidence, that Maggie & Rose was the best choice. The teachers are attentive, invested and affectionate. It's great for them to care for my child
so well.

Every chance I get, I am more than happy to refer them to friends and colleagues.

Keep up the good work!

My daughters went to this nursery. It was a very lovely place and my older one loved it. That was why I sent my second child also.
My older one brought home many lovely things which she made so often. Also she loved cooking classes and Spanish classes. We loved many teachers as they had so much passion
for kids.
However, once the manager changed, everything changed so much. I thought my second one also would bring back what she made from nursery but we only got a few things in 6 months.
So many teachers left in a short time.
The biggest reason we left nursery was my second one had an allergic reaction twice in 6 months at nursery.
Now we've been waiting for our deposit back but still no news from them. My old one left here over 3 months ago and we noticed that they didn't pay us back the deposit. They are lacking in communication since the manager changed a year ago.
This is so sad to write this review as it was such a lovely nursery.
I do hope they will change good way and back as it was.

My 18-month-old has just started at Maggie & Rose and I visited two other nurseries before making a final decision. What stood out initially was how it was clean, tidy, organised, and the staff seemed self-motivated, friendly and really into the well being of the kids. When meeting the deputy in charge
prior to settling him in, I could see all the kids there had adoring feelings towards her, which made me feel that my son would be truly loved in this environment. It is such a big, safe and secure building with so many options for activities, that I think the kids really enjoy the variety. It is superior to most nurseries which are extremely small and with restrictive play areas.

My experience to date has been extremely positive, my son loves the environment and I am completely at ease when dropping him off, knowing he is in safe and secure location. I look forward to picking him up and seeing his happy little face.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.858)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.858) out of 10 for Chiswick House Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 30 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 30 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.858 for Chiswick House Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (309 Excellents x 5) + (49 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 359 Ratings = 4.858
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Chiswick House Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 30 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 70 number of registered child places is 14, which has been reached with 30 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
