My son has attended this nursery for 3 years and I would highly recommend it. The location, staff and facilities are excellent. I was very happy with older babies, toddlers was a little wishy washy if I'm honest, large staff turnovers at that time - different summaries of my son's day. However, since the change of management and the changes put in place for the Ofsted review made pre-school excellent. - definitely by far the gem of this nursery in my experience but hopefully the other categories are by now the same.

The nursery has provided a high level of care and support. There are always many activities for the children to do, as well as a good variety of education objectives at all times. I've enjoyed the news emails, feedback and parents evenings. I really feel that my child's key worker knows him very well, and makes efforts to make him feel special.

All the staff have been friendly and accommodating. We have also enjoyed the events planned by the nursery. I was happy with the food and snacks provided. Overall I have been very satisfied with positive Steps Nursery School.

My son will be leaving pre-school this September and I can honestly say I am so happy we decided to send him to Positive Steps. The staff are all amazing, so kind and caring and my son has been so happy here since he started when he was 2. We will be very sad to leave and wish the nursery all the best for the future. If we ever have another baby Positive Steps will be our number one choice.

Both my children attended Positive Steps and they absolutely love it. They always skip in very happily. All the staff are brilliant, very welcoming and loving. They learnt so much in pre-school which prepared them for infant school.

My son has enjoyed his time at Positive Steps. He loves all the activities on offer and the care that the staff take with the children is wonderful. I will be sad to leave and will be singing up my youngest child when old enough.

Overall Experience

Our daughter has been very well cared for at Positive Steps - she developed a fantastic bond with a great key worker and is always excited to talk about the activities she's done during the day. After moving rooms recently, staff have been very helpful with the transition, basing it on what our daughter was comfortable with and not rushing her when she felt uncomfortable. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, a lot of time seems to be spent outside in the gardens and we receive clear information/ opportunities to discuss our child's development.
