Townsend Montessori Nursery Maidstone

I would highly recommend this setting to anybody looking for affordable but excellent childcare in Maidstone. I contacted the nursery in a panic when our childcare fell through and was able to view and secure a space for my son quickly. We haven't been at the nursery long but he has settled very well, the staff are lovely and he regularly talks about his key worker at home. The meals offered are fantastic and have him eating things he wouldn't dream of trying at home. They are accommodating when our schedules change due to a temporarily long commute and my son spends most of the evening excitedly telling us about his day. This is the fourth setting we have used due to relocations and so far, is the best service we have received.

Very happy with the nursery. My daughter absolutely loves going here! All team members are very professional and passionate about their job. Since she started going here she has improved dramatically! She learned so many new skills! I can’t be happier! Highly recommend, 5 star service.

Communication has been an issue at times, with the new app not working and some newsletters and general information being missed, but anything relating to my child has been communicated well.

My experience with the nursery is that the staff are polite and friendly. They put the child’s needs first. My daughter graduated last year and had an amazing time there. She was so quiet and shy not talking to people now she has confidence, plays with everyone and has loads of friends in her new school. This year my son started there and he loves it coming home telling me what he learned.

All the staff are very friendly and extremely welcoming and I feel at ease that my daughter is in very safe hands. I will definitely be sending my next baby there!

Having visited a number of nurseries in Maidstone we feel strongly that it was the best choice.

The latest parent app they now use is a step backwards from the old app too, can no longer message the rooms directly anymore creating even more communication issues, missed events and emails not passed over to the rooms the children are in. Emails in general often ignored. Such a shame. I've voiced my concerns many times and keep giving this nursery chances to improve but overall it’s just full of continual disappointment.

Excellent nursery; really caring, friendly staff and great facilities. Happy and content children with varied and positive learning activities. Would highly recommend this nursery and preschool. We love the Montessori ethos.

This nursery is so lovely, the staff are amazing. My son took a while to settle and they were brilliant! My son’s speech wasn’t very good and he’s now coming on brilliantly, he now loves it whilst he’s there.

Excellent nursery and my girl really enjoys going to the nursery. Lovely environment in which the kids can explore and have lots to play with. Friendly staff and they really appreciate every single growth of the kids. It would be great if more details can be shared with parents.

The staff at this nursery are extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter loves heading to this place. On a separate note, the new company who have taken over need to be given an education in people skills.

It is such a lovely nursery and wonderful staff. My daughter has been there since she was a little baby and she will be graduating soon and she absolutely loves it. She has made so many friends and I am so grateful for all the hard work that goes into her care.

Amazing staff, very kind and understanding, they're always there when you need anything and really friendly, my little one loves it there! My little one has only been there a short time but has already learnt a lot. I would highly recommend the nursery.

Our 3 year old twins started to attend the Townsend Montessori Nursery when they were one during the pandemic. All the staff has always been very supportive and welcoming. The kids had been encouraged from the beginning to be independent. The boys love going to nursery. They do plenty of nice activities and they send us pictures regularly to show us our kids milestones. They also love going outside and playing in "the big garden" every day. I would choose Townsend Montessori again and I strongly recommend it.

I am very happy and content with how my kids are developing at Townsend Montessori Nursery. All the Montessori games and plays, learning, songs and outside garden activities! I really appreciate all the staff and I recommend this nursery!

Very happy with the care my daughter receives. Friendly staff, lots of activities planned daily, nutritious food. My daughter settled quickly at this nursery and is always happy and chatty when I pick her up. Staff keen to help and support.

Excellent nursery fulfils my child’s needs every day. My child is more than happy to go into the nursery and is very happy when my child comes out of the nursery. My child is comfortable with every member of staff in the building. The staff make the nursery welcoming, they are very hard-working and are a lovely team. This nursery is the best nursery my child has gone to and I wouldn’t recommend any other nursery.

Great staff and a friendly atmosphere, all three of my girls have learnt so much and they have all been happy there. I do sometimes feel that the food is very samey but it is always a good healthy meal. No issues whatsoever.
