Townsend Montessori Nursery Maidstone

I can truly say this nursery is amazing. The staff are amazing from room leaders to office staff. They have really helped with my twins progression.

Jude has been with the nursery for 2 months and since coming he has really com on in himself. Jude has settled straightaway and is definitely learnt new skills and such a happy boy. Thank you Ella, Jenna and all the support staff for taking great care of my baby.

My daughter enjoys nursery and has great rapport with the key workers in her room. From what she tells us, she enjoys the many activities and loves playing with the other children. I feel that she is well looked after and thrives at nursery.

The nursery has been very accomodating. Both our little ones really enjoy coming here, they have been especially great with the youngest (1 1/2 when joined) in helping him settle in, and make sure we were comfortable too along the way. Only criticism I have is that there are things that are overlooked or not perhaps communicated properly. I've asked for the app to be looked into since September as I only get access to one child and its promised to be fixed and still isn't.

Staff are brilliant, my son loves it here.

The nursery have been very supportive with Lola to get her to be ready for school. They are very welcoming and all the staff are very friendly. Both my girls have loved coming and our 3rd will be joining in September. The staff have been helpful when ever I have come to them about anything and any conserns I have had regarding my children.

Extremely caring staff, communication and learning experiences are exemplary. My children have developed so much since changing to Townsend Montessori Nursery. Best decision we have ever made for our children to be in this nursery. Thank you for everything you do/have been doing for the growth of our children.

The new management team at Townsend have been fabulous and retention amongst staff has been a lot better. Our daughter loves coming to nursery, and mainly plays nurseries at home, replicating the staff. Staff have been honest with us re her behaviours and methods to manage this from home so it can be improved at nursery.

A lot better than previous nursery. My son has settled in very easily and happy to see his progression going well.

Townsend Montessori Nursery is a fantastic place for young children. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about every child's development. The calm Montessori environment encourages independence, curiosity, and confidence. My child feels happy, supported, and excited to learn every day. Highly recommended for parents

If i had to find any negative for me personally, it would be the recording of how much my daughter eats at meal times. On the application, it will often say (ate all), but i am told differently when i pick my daughter up, so i can be unsure of her food intake. Otherwise, my wife and i are very happy to have our daughter coming here.

Concerning level of supervision and hygiene. A nursery should provide a safe and clean environment for young children, but the standards here need serious improvement. I am extremely disappointed.

Cannot praise the staff at Townsend Montessori nursery in Maidstone enough. They are always cheerful and happy to help. Our boy loves nursery so much which is undoubtedly due to the staff and his experiences with them.

The best nursery I ever found for my daughter . She is been doing so well now so confident and articulate . The girls in the team are fantastic kind and empathetic. for new mums who are worrying and looking for the best nursery for their kids I would say Townsend nursery Maidstone would be the best choice . I am very satisfied, best nursery in town, Staff are very polite humble and professional, taken excellent care of of the child's, I am very glad that I brought my child to this nursery, I used to take him to a different nursery he was never happy and staff were very reluctant in some areas.

This could be a great nursery if it was run well and had leaders who had a clear vision and strive to improve the nursery and give the children the best start in life. Since being bought out by The Old Station Nursery, this nursery has completely changed, cutting and losing staff that were amazing with the children. Very poor communication with parents, their app is rarely used so have no insight into what your child has done. Staff often complain themselves they are short-staffed and so there is no consistency in which adults are in rooms and staff morale is low. My child has had 3 key workers in a year and they have no idea about him all you get told is they’ve had a good day. Health and safety practices are concerning at times and put children at risk with staffing or fire safety practices. My child regularly is unhappy about going to nursery when at the beginning of his journey it was such a happy place. The recent Ofsted inspection is not a reflection of the nursery.

Really nice nursery. my daughter gets very excited to go and has made many friends. The staff are so patient and kind; they give lots of attention to the children and comfort them when needed, which is a relief to know as a parent.

Townsend is a very good nursery. They are very carrying to the kids which is the most important thing when you leave your kid to be look after specially in their age. My daughter really enjoys going there and playing with her friends and the staff. Overall they care about the kids and how they are developing.
