As a very nervous first time mum I doubt every choice I make for my son but deciding Picket Twenty Busy Bees for his first nursery was the best choice by far. The baby room staff go above and beyond to ensure your little one is comfortable, settled and loved like their own. I receive so many photos which just makes my days 100x better. I can't thank them enough for helping him grow into the toddler he is now. Management have also been great dealing with any concerns or issues an anxious first parent may have. I am so sad to be relocating and taking him away from somewhere he loves so much. He will miss the staff like they are his family!

Our son attended Busy Bees Picket Twenty from January 2025 until June 2026 and we couldn't have asked for a better nursery. He is autistic and started with very limited speech and communication. From day one, the staff showed him incredible patience, kindness and understanding. They created a safe, nurturing environment where he could grow at his own pace. Over the months, we watched him become more confident, communicate better and enjoy learning. Every achievement, no matter how small, was celebrated. On his last day, I cried while picking him up because I knew I was leaving behind people who had genuinely loved and cared for my son. As a parent of a child with additional needs, that peace of mind is priceless. Thank you for helping our son flourish. We will always be grateful and highly recommend Busy Bees Picket Twenty to any family, especially those with children who need extra support.

Both my sons have been attending this nursery since they were 6 months old. My eldest is now 4 and will soon be leaving for school. I cannot underestimate the great level of care my children have received throughout the time they have been attending Busy Bees Picket Twenty, even after the change of ownership. The staff are friendly, personable, cheerful, engage with the kids and safeguarding is a top priority. They have supported and helped my children reach significant milestones and provided an environment for them that I could never replicate at home. Mum guilt will always be prevalent but the staff at Busy Bees have helped a long way in alleviating it by caring for my children with kindness, patience and compassion. In my opinion, the baby room is incomparable to other nursery settings I visited and one of my main reasons for choosing this nursery was due to the fact they had a set up for naps which was safe, the babies are regularly monitored and child led. Thoroughly recommend.

Our son has attended this nursery since he was 2 years old, and we honestly couldn't be happier with the care and support he has received. He has truly thrived in the setting and grown so much in confidence, independence, and happiness during his time there.
The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and caring, and it's clear that the children are at the centre of everything they do. They create such a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.

We've always felt reassured knowing our son is in such capable and compassionate hands, and we're so grateful for the positive impact the nursery has had on his development. We would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and supportive setting for their child.

Always had a positive experience with Busy Bees, they are great at giving feedback and updating me on what activities and progress has been made throughout the day. They also have indicators for important developmental milestones which helps me see where my little one is with their development.

My daughter has just finished nursery here. We went through a change of ownership, staffing changes, the works. One thing has remained consistent throughout. The dedication and commitment of the staff. Concerns have always been dealt with with speed and care.
Our daughter was premature and has a neurological condition, the nursery supported us well. Their preschool room is currently run by someone who has a background of very recently working as a teacher in reception. I firmly believe this has led to the children being in a strong position to start school next week compared to peers in other settings. Every nursery is different, make your own choices, don't believe everything on social media.

Our daughter always looked forward to nursery and cried tonight on the way home because she wouldn't see her key worker again.

My daughter has only been there for 3 months (including the 8-week notice period) There is no communication between staff members and the manager or between the nursery and parents. In one incident the manager was really unprofessional, rude, and just couldn't care less about me as a parent.

Don't waste your time and money. Find a better place for your child.

I really couldn't fault the baby room at all, from the get go the room leader was lovely and welcoming, she introduced us to everyone within the room and showed us around and explained what apps could be downloaded for us as parents. We're regularly kept updated with pictures, sleep and food within one of the apps and our child loves all the messy play the team creates. Thank you to the staff and an extra thank you to one staff member in particular for answering all of our silly questions initially and helping our child to transition into nursery. Fabulous team really couldn't fault them.

From the first time meeting the staff, I have been really impressed by how they work and care for our son. When I come to pick him up sometimes he doesn't want to leave he is having so much fun! Really happy that he settled in so well and they are relly responsive to his needs. The only thing that would make things better is if the fees weren't so steep!

I have only positive things to say about this nursery.
The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of our child’s development. They create a lovely atmosphere and plan fun activities and our child is always so happy to be dropped off in the morning.
They’re working with us on the weaning journey and are very accommodating with dietary requirements.
Always kept updated through the app which gives great peace of mind!

Can’t say enough good things.

Wow-what can I say? From the very beginning, I've been so impressed with how they've responded to my little one's needs. Starting nursery at only 10 months old they were just fantastic at helping him adjust to the nursery setting. They are always willing to work with us when it comes to routines and I find that we work well as a team learning from each other. My little one loves his key worker and room leader, sometimes I don't even get acknowledgement at pick-up. He has so much fun and is learning so much so fast, I almost can't keep up with him! Thank you Busy Bees!

Brilliant nursery. Always kept fully up to date on what my child has been doing throughout the day. Activities are varied and the sort of thing that would be difficult to do at home. The staff are all extremely friendly and kind. I would (and do) recommend Busy Bees to any parent. Most importantly, my child loves being there and is always excited to be dropped off.
